- Shivaun (3/5): - Mattress was bad and so was the linen. There was a smell of mould throughout

- Ana Carolina (10/5): Hidden gem in the middle of nature! - The location was amazing, easy to find, deep in nature and had everything we needed! Nothing, everything was perfect!
- Rod (9/5): - The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location in the bush, with an easy walk to the beach and shops. Upgraded TV would be great, for better reception.
- Mark (9/5): - Great location on quiet street but handy walk to everything. Loved the space and comfy bed. Could hear the owners upstairs at times but really only muffled footsteps.
- Jeffrey (7/5): Peaceful - Great location in nature,
Close to a few shops and walking distance to the beach. The television is out dated and did not work properly,
The bathroom water pump is very loud when using would upgrade these things and the front screen door with some new curtains.
- Meachem (9/5): -
- James (8/5): Quite comfortable - Tap in kitchen is 3/4 blocked
- Jason (9/5): Good hosts, location & value for money, will definitely return. - Very peaceful, great location and area, host very friendly.
- Jan (7/5): This was a comfortable stay and very convenient location. - There was no breakfast.
- Hassan (10/5): A pleasant stay - It had everything that we needed Nothing to dislike
- Christina (9/5): Superb - Good value for money. Garage/ basement conversion type with basic amenities. The location was good, as the beach was only a 4-minute drive. Beach was breathtaking. Similar to cabins, you rent at caravan parks. Lots of activities nearby. Was basic accommodation with basic pantry. I thought frying pan was very small if you planned on cooking for a family, and there was only 1. And I didn't see a hair dryer. Pictures are pretty accurate. We stayed for a long weekend so I thought the price was good for that time of the year.
- Cathy (8/5): Lovely place to stay. - I liked how it was so close to where I grew up. I liked the cleanliness of the property, the amount of crockery and cutlery were sufficient. I liked the large fridge that was quiet. I liked that it had a microwave. I liked the amount of space - more than plenty for 2 people.
I loved the sound of the cicadas and cockatoos.
We very much appreciated being able to charge our car whilst staying there - even if it meant we had to leave the entrance door slightly open and unlocked. A power point in the meter box would have been wonderful and less hassle - but appreciated being able to charge.
Liked that they had some plastic storage containers. Often you buy tinned food only to have to store it in the tin or throw it away or eat it all in one go. I didn’t like that the glass sliding door did not lock, only the screen door. Nor the fact that the screen on the microwave does not work even though if you know which buttons to press you can work it out. I was embarrassed when I rang up the host to find that it was because I did not know which buttons to press. It would have been nice if there had been some instructions re the screen not working and if you press these buttons it would work. I just presumed that it was broken! There wasn't any microwaveable containers that we could use. Had to use bowls for porridge.
Did not like the fact that you could hear some noise from upstairs but it was not very much so was able to sleep.
- Liz (9/5): Superb -
- Touqeer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Naga (6/5): Pleasant - Location No air conditioning
- Belinda (7/5): A comfortable stay in a neat and tidy property. - The bedroom and dining area. quite a lot of insects inside the property.
- Kane (4/5): Very average - Large for a studio appartment The shower had mould in the corners. No aircon. No ceiling fans. No blackout curtains. Not a full size oven. Very small mirror in bathroom.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet location.
Close walking distance to cafes and beaches.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): High recommended studio apartment - private, clean, comfortable. - A lovely private studio apartment that's also very spacious. Perfect location and close to my conference site. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Beth (10/5): Bush to Beach a great place to take a break - The beautiful location. All facilities were available to us. Food was nearby. The host was extremely flexible.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (9/5): Very comforatble and easy. We would come again. - The location was very convenient for us to attend a conference at Stanwell Tops and the price reasonable. . A heating appliance would be good.
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful little unit with everything I needed for a couple of days away. Perfect location and very quiet. Easy to find and access. Would definitely recommend There was literally nothing I'd change - it was all great. Thanks!
- Robert (8/5): Pleasant enough - Spacious Convenient for Royal National Park No view. Basic toiletries. No coffee maker. Relatively expensive Poor TV Reception
- Emma (8/5): The Host, Vancho, is welcoming and quick to any query or request. It is a comfy place and clean. -
- Stephen (4/5): Disappointing - Place was unlocked and keys on the kitchen table. Easy access. Place is in a nice location. Cleanliness was a bit disappointing. Under the bed had piles of dust and dead bugs which made it an uneasy stay to start with. Also, being in the bush, some bug spray would have been nice as I had to kill a few spiders.
If peace and quiet is your thing, this might not be the best place. Piping for water etc is loud. Can hear the upstairs residents talking and footsteps at all times so our sleep wasn't the best as we could hear noise till after mid night and again around 6am the following morning.
Appliances are old as well and very outdated.
No heater and the cold nights was
- Rob (7/5): Good - Complete with kitchen utensils oven fridge etc. Ensure you ask for towels if staying more than one night.
BnB is not serviced daily.
- Ben (5/5): Passable - Location was good, close to beach and station and restaurants The toilet smelled sewrage the whole time, lots of bugs and spiders indoors.
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karl (8/5): Very good - Very neat and clean little spot. Nice location. We mistakenly interpreted "flat-screen TV" to mean smart TV and so were a bit disappointed that we were not able to log in to our Netflix account.
- Amafala (10/5): Satisfied guests. - Everything was perfect. They had everything we needed.
The place was so peaceful and clean. There were cups and plates, knives, spoons and forks, which was great , cause we did not bring any. We were satisfied There was nothing we didn't like about the place. The only thing that was a problem for us was the weather, we had a day of cloud and rain, we didn't mind staying in for one day though. It was perfect.
- Maureen (9/5): A very pleasant, comfortable weekend stay - and only a short drive from Sydney. - Very pleasant, comfortable accommodation - one of the best we have stayed in. Well planned; quite spacious, lots of light even though it is built under the house and everything we needed. Enjoyed being "in the bush", very peaceful, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds. Stanwell Park is not far from Sydney (for us a short 40 minute drive) but we definitely felt we were away from the crowd/traffic and on holiday. And in the busy summer holiday season Stanwell Park/ Beach is much more peaceful than further down the coast. We walked down to the "main strip" for dinner (and back up!) which was fine but to the beach you need to drive (unless you are super fit) No outdoor sitting area which didn't bother us for the weekend but for a longer stay it might.
- Saritha (9/5): Great place that meant my expectations and would definitely go again. - Clean, simple, well located accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped. And the kids loved the Spanish chocolate bars left by the host 😃 Couldn't easily use clothes line to dry towels and swimmers, as it was a bit too high to reach. There was no aircon/fan which meant we had to have the windows open at night for airflow - it was fine until the kookaburras decided to have a laugh at 4:30am 😂 Although the days were warm outside, the apartment itself remained cool and pleasant so not having a fan want an issue otherwise.
- Eric (9/5): If we ever find our way back to this part of the world..we will stay here again - I wanted to find any accommodation not far from Sydney for the dates we needed, I had a look at Stanwell Park and so glad I did.
Vancho ( owner ) has done a nice job in making our stay comfortable at Beach to Bush.
Set up ideally for a single or a couple.
There are many natural attractions both along this coastline and then back into the mountain ranges behind.
We had the best Thai dinner at a local restaurant in Stanwell Park..Stanny Temptations.
The local beaches and forest walks were fantastic.
Overall great stay ..thank you All good
- Jill (9/5): Superb -
- Audrey (7/5): Ok for a 2 night stay - clean, small and comfortabe, though there is no outdoor sitting area or window to get any views. Nothing much to do around the area unless you drive out to the beaches. Ok for short stays. We did do a lot of walking, however for those who cannot walk much, it would not be suitable. Would have been nice to get some views or a window or patio to look out on. Felt a bit claustrophobic.
- Gus (10/5): Exceptional -
