• Dona (10/5): Overall a great lodge if you’re staying in Kisami Ohama. Location is probably the best for this beach and staff is very - This place is run by a really kind family. They were super accommodating and welcomed us warmly throughout our whole stay. Location is amazing just a 5min walk to the beach and they also run a pizza restaurant and everything was yum! Having a table for storage and long mirror in the room would be great. Bathroom is very small and no bidet for the toilet. A bit pricier than their neighbors so having breakfast included would have been nice.

• Henry (8/5): Staff were amazing location was amazing but room very damp. - The staff were amazing at this property, all really interesting people and happy to chat at breakfast or at the bar. The service was brilliant as was the food. Only negative was the room was very damp, futile attempts to paint over the mold in our room was appreciated but does not actually fix the issue.

• Alexei (8/5): A superb getaway next to one of the best sandy beaches around Tokyo. - The atmosphere is like you are not in Japan in a good meaning of it. The bar in the center of the hall is a magnet for guests to gather for friendly convos and drinks. The pizza made in their own oven is super delicious. The staff is super friendly and most are non-Japanese. The facility has a parking on premises and just a short walk to the beach. The Japanese unit bath in room is though clean feels outdated (the toilet seat is not a washlet type). There is no fridge or coffee maker (would be nice to have it) and TV (didn't notice its absence to be honest) in the room. You can ask the staff to chill your food or drinks in their fridge though. The cork fee is outrageously high (3,300 yen).
• Mitchell (10/5): A hidden gem in a sleepy Japanese seaside town with great hospitality and incredible location. - Can’t recommend this place enough. Mike and his family made me feel like part of the family for the three nights I stayed and enjoyed the beautiful beaches around this incredible location! The bar in the lodge is a super convenient place to have an ice cold beer after a day at the beach (and I mean, ICE cold) Tomas the bartender makes an incredible cocktail and is a pleasure to interact with. The whole place has a good vibe. The convenience stores are a short ride up the ride on a bike that Mike was happy to lend free of charge. The beaches and coves are incredible (and l'm an Australian) Check out the sea cave up the road and some hidden beaches you can have all to yourself if you come just before the Japanese summer season! The rooms are simple and comfortable, AC, ensuite, and some have ocean views allowing you to check on the surf conditions from the comfort of your bed 😂👌🏻 Everyone in all the cafes and restaurants in the town is very welcoming and hospitable. Can't recommend this place enough, I’ll be back. Guaranteed.
• Debra (10/5): Holiday with friends - Big room with sea views and the bed was very comfortable, staff and owners very accommodating felt like staying with friends, the pizzas are fantastic and Mike made us chicken and steak dishes on the first night, I couldn’t eat all mine so he stored it for me in the fridge for the next day. The beach is across the road. Blue water and easy to swim at beach. The breakfast for 900 yen was bountiful, the owner’s home made natural yogurt was a treat. Would definitely return! Thanks Mike and family! Special mention to Tomas the Barman good job your very patient ! The bathroom, no bidet and very small But the water pressure is great
