- Nurul (1/5): - my worst experience ever!! i got scammed by the host. i cannot use my access card and the host just did nothing for 1+ hour. they said my issue need to be settled with the management so i need to wait until monday (i booked on saturday) which what do you expect? me and my friends to sleep at the lounge?
and then the host said they'll check with their 'team' although there's nobody at the property. you guys should at least send one of your guys to help us on the day we want to check in. to prepare for any issues like us.
then the host just gave us a brilliant solution to just cancel and find ourselves other units because it's not their problem. I've told the host that we're actually in a rush but no action taken because they don't have anyone to check.
don't get me started on the refund. they could've simply transferred back the security deposit but they chose to take 3 working days just to refund it 🤦🏻♀️ it's not the booking refund because I know it'll took a while. it is another deposit of rm200 that i need to deal with the host personally.
that's all lah. malas nk tulis panjang2 tapi mmg the worst experience ever. i got stood up mcm org bodoh dkt lounge. tu pon nasib baik boleh pergi lounge sbb duk ikut org. kalau tak mmg tersekat dkt parking je, mmg tak boleh naik langsung!

No mirror in rooms we had to go to toilet to comb hair. The owner too pushy. We Check in late only. Keep pushing to Check out Early.

The only positive aspect of this homestay was its location—it was very convenient and close to everything I needed. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended.
The property was not as advertised; it looked quite different from the pictures. The cleanliness was a major issue, and I was shocked by how dirty the place was. Every morning, I found cockroaches crawling around, which was extremely unsettling.
Overall, despite the great location, the lack of cleanliness and the pest problem made it a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this place unless significant improvements are made

- Mahesvaran (5/5): Bad experience staying in Arte Cheras. - Bed was comfy. Only 1 bath. 2 toilets. Only 1pan and 1pot. Induction stove can't be used at all, not detecting. You have to carry all Ur luggages from parking to lift, then change lifts at level R, then carry all luggages from another lift to the unit. It took me 1& half hour to reach my unit, from missing access card in mail box, waited 20mins, then find car park for 20mins, collect and carry luggages between 2 different lifts and finally reach the unit. Only 1 access card available, if one has to go out to shop then the other family members can't even go swimming pool as all access need access card. Parking in 1 block, stay in another block, only 1 parking for 1 unit, no extra parking given. Need to park an extra car away at the shop lots 200 meters away or at LOTUS about 1 km away if you drive. Make your choices for a good and easy trip or sweating and tiring trip. The choice is yours. Not gonna go back to the place ever in future. That's it done.
- Afif (1/5): will not stay again - Near Lotus Room was changed without any prior notice, found out after we already checked in and i called them 12x they don’t answer my call, they answered once i called them with different number & only refund us 20% (rm40+). only 1 access card given and it was not really responsive at lift lobby. 1 free car park inside. Parking is difficult to find and if u park at open space in front of the building you will be summoned. please don’t stay here. i regret that i don’t read the review first before stay, lot of people face the same especially their room was not as advertised. completely different. feel like i got scammed by them. they also ask your IC & depo 200 (refund within 7 working days) which i think not necessary at all. and only give the check in instructions at 2.45pm, which i need to ask them again wheres the instructions guide at 2.50pm lol. this trouble happened on 25/10/25-26/10/25. PLEASE AVOID OR YOU’RE SOMEONE THAT LOVE TO DEAL WITH SCAMMER. I ATTACHED REAL PICTURE OF THE UNIT AND WHAT WE SUPPOSEDLY GET (AS ADVERTISED) AND THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THEM. THANK ME LATER

The unit was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were convenient, which I really appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed with the management’s lack of flexibility. There was no room for compromise, and I ended up losing RM200 from my security deposit. Because of that, my experience feels less positive even though the place itself was nice.

- Che Averawate (2/5): - I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, from 29–31 October 2025 (Wednesday to Friday). On 30 October (Thursday), I was trapped in the room because the owner did not give any prior notice that the elevator would be under maintenance from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
My husband, three young children, two elderly family members, and I were all stuck in the room without any food! Not only was the elevator out of service, but there was also a power outage from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
My husband and I had to walk down the stairs from the 26th floor just to buy food! We were forced to stay in the room all day without electricity! The owner was completely irresponsible and offered no compensation whatsoever!

After we checked up they anyhow tell us that the blanket cover is dirty and glass is missing and need to charge separately again!!! How we can talked back when we ald left the house??! They can just anyhow said anything and deduct the deposit?!!! This is damn ridiculous!!!!!

- Ainil (8/5): Very good - It was very strategic place to stay with Bathroom bidet quite difficult to use esp when u have young kids as u need to assist them as the bidet is too tight and the powder room bidet is broken
- Nor (9/5): Superb - The house is quite spacious for 3 of us. It can accommodate up to 8 people but the living room/dining space is limited if >4 people. One of the rooms is equipped with a projector and karaoke set. Please allow guests to check in early around 30minutes before as the check in process is quite tedious and the guards do not understand English/malay. Even I'm checked in not during public holiday, it takes half an hour to settle.

- Albert (7/5): Good - The location is excellent, conveniently close to many key places. The Android-powered projector is a fantastic feature, and the washing machine performs exceptionally well. The facilities, including the gym and pools, are top-notch. Having only one access card creates significant inconveniences, as the card is required to pass through multiple checkpoints, including the main gate, lifts, tower door entrances, and finally, the lift to your designated floor. This becomes especially troublesome when individuals are not traveling in a group, as it necessitates constantly escorting others through these access points. This repetitive process is both time-consuming and disruptive.

- Nur (1/5): Worst experience - Design okay I suppose to get apartment exactly like the picture but i got different apartment. Very frustuated ya, i pay rm500 for this, but i got another apartment and they not solve my issue at all.
The cleaning guy still there moping the house until 4.30pm. We check in around 2.50pm. Imagine the cleaning guy still there moping around house.

- Syfqh (10/5): Nothing much to complaint. Unit provided in a good term. Very clean, comfortable. Worth so much for up to 8pax size. - Very clean, spacious, can fit up to 8pax. Facilities wise, great. Communication between host and guest. Barely respond to normal queries.

. Communication via apps are basically ignored until 2 hours before checked in they sent a whatsapp bots. They wont respond to email or pick up your calls even you attempted multiple number available on their website. When they finally responded, they insisted the phone number provided is correct until I sent a screenshot and then only they said it was the old employee number. AND GUESS WHAT, no attempt to put on the correct number till now.
TAKE NOTE they collect your ID and RM250 deposit as well only they will send you the checkin method.
And Booking.com is not helpful at all, took 5 days to respond and provide unhelpful answer (asked for contact and gave the wrong contact).

It would be great if provided water dispenser. The stay wasn't smooth at all. The check in time at 3pm but until 3.30pm I didn't receive any email/whatsapp regarding the check in process al thought I was already notify the host my arrival timing at 3-4pm. Upon arrived at the property I asked the security for reception counter for check in and the security told me there is no such facilities available and check in process fully provide by the host through online and the security asked for unit number in order to let us enter to the parking lot. When I called the host (number that provided in booking.com) but I got no response at all. Then I tried to contact another number that provided in my email during the booking confirmation. After the long time only the host attended my called and checked my booking conformation. The property requested to fill in all the check in question through Whatsapp in order to get my unit number and mailbox number. Not only that this property requires to pay RM250 for security deposit through online and the refund will be given in 10 working days(which I feel too long). After done all the pre-check in process then only the security let me in to take the key at the mailbox and get the access card to get to my parking lot. The parking lot is so complicated and confusing. Then after check in we noticed that there was strong smoking smell in the house and the bed and hanger racks was dusty as off like no one check in for a longer time. I hope that the host improvise the poor host management and cleanliness.

Likewise, there were many instances, in which they helped. They mentioned that there would be a private pool, which was not there. They have mentioned that there will be two bathrooms but had just one, but two washrooms. they have displayed, the display will be mounted in the open area, which was mounted inside a double room. no water kettle was not there. In addition to that, they took an additional amount which will be refunded, but not happened yet.
