- Guest (1/5): Unclean place - The owner was helpful I was visiting with my mom for her to explore London and we had booked this room. The checkin didnt start until 4 pm and we didnt want to waste the entire day so we requested the owner to allow us to check in early to which she said that the room won't be ready until 4 but we could drop off our luggage in the morning to which we agreed. We reached there in the morning to drop the luggage in the room and the room was very untidy. We expected it to be cleaned and ready by the time we are back at night but there was no change in the room. The floor was not even brushed lightly everything was as it is and the toilet was so dirty. Someone had taken a dump there and didn't even flush properly and it seemed like the toilet has not been cleaned since months. There was half used soap and flies near the sink and even above the bed.
We felt really uncomfortable hence even though our booking was for 3 nights we left the next day itself, just stayed there for one night.
We thought we would get a clean and comfortable room but it didn't turn out as expected.

Location not good and safe

The staff/owner was also very nice. I had to check in later than I planned and she sorted it out for me.
The room was neat and private. The bathroom and toilet were both dirty.
It was honestly uncomfortable using them both . I had to close my eyes throughout my shower.

- Betsy (3/5): Poor - For the price, especially in London, it was excellent value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in the city, this is a solid choice. I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
There was no one available to check me in upon arrival, and the front door was left open, which raised serious concerns about safety and security. I was not provided with keys to the main entrance, making it difficult to come and go safely.
Communication was poor throughout—my calls and messages went unanswered, both before and during the stay, which was very frustrating.
The property itself was not well maintained. The bathroom was not clean, the drain was blocked, and the kitchen had an unpleasant smell, making it uncomfortable to use. The room itself was acceptable, but overall, the experience did not meet basic expectations of cleanliness or safety.

- Patience (8/5): A good budget "stay". - It does what it says on the tin. However, the hospitality was next to none. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. She even gave me an extra quilt when I was cold. It was far from the main road, and taxis got lost sometimes.

It's extremely filthy and cold!Room itself was just about OK,very basic,extremely minimal,loaded with someone's belongings clothes shoes etc and super cold!!! They don't use heating at all and those house is absolutely FREEZING!I had to sleep with my clothes on and couldn't shower it was that cold!it's like asking me to shower outside in the winter which is insane to me.The rest whole property is EXTREMELY DIRTY and hasn't been cleaned in ages by the looks of it. It was shocking and I'm not sure how these people are allowed to rent in there, it's almost uninhabited. Owners or sub tenants who wherever they are are friendly but its not an excuse to run business like this. Disappointing and definitely won't be back

The location was pretty fine, close to the tube and convenient to travel into the city.
Furthermore, there were a lot of spaces where I was able to park.

I was pleased with my stay and recommend this as it was worth the money and pleasant. Not much. Walls are a little thin but it is an old house so not too bad. It is a bit far from things but London is spread out, you are close enough to a comfortable overground train which is nice.
