Guest Reviews
- Vince (1/5): The hotel front desk worker got mad at us from the moment we entered the building and was talking rudely about us when s - That it was close to the college and the fast food places it was creepy, and looked abandoned. The hard floor and the tv didn’t work. The bathtub was dirty and there was not a restaurant even tho it said there was.
- Elaina (6/5): -
- Nenisa (10/5): -
- Rona (2/5): Horrible and scary, did not feel safe. - The location It’s not well maintained. It smells like dirty rug throughout the hotel. The first room I was given was to be a non smoking room, but the dirty rug smell over powered the room. The window looked like it was broken in to and put back together quickly. Being a female I didn’t feel safe staying alone in that room and my allergies started acting up from the stink. The bedding looked clean but there were stains on them. This property is not being taken care of properly and they should be ashamed renting out rooms, especially with how run down the hotel is.
- Lisa (4/5): -
- Cheryl (6/5): - Breakfast fresh and good Quite dated and old
- Amber (1/5): Druggie Hotel dirty and unprofessional - There is nothing really I liked about the place the staff was not really helpful there is no manager on the site or property the day I checked in or the day I checked out I didn't like the fact that I got a non-smoking room yet my room smelled like it was smoked in lots. I didn't like the fact that when I checked into my room with my spouse and dog that there were drugs left in the room on the floor right next to the bed that my dog was sniffing and pawing at. I didn't like the fact that when I called the front desk to ask them about that she tried to Slough it off like it was nothing telling me that the manager will be there in the morning eventually another woman came by with the other girls in the front that I originally was talking to about the situation and told me the best they can do is switch me rooms. Never in my life have I ever once found drugs in my hotel room let alone have nobody to talk to about the situation I have still not been refunded my deposit for the hotel. Did not even get a receipt. This type of hotel Behavior is unacceptable my dog could have died and now I have to wait 3-4 days to hear back possibly because apparently nobody had stayed in that room or checked out in a day or two well I guess at the end of the day if nobody was in the room then maybe you should be asking your staff housekeeping all I know is this is really bothering me and I feel like nobody's taking it serious I found a bag of drugs in my supposedly clean hotel room what the heck is that. I would never recommend this place to anybody it is a dive they don't take care of the place it's dirty it's filthy and it stinks and it's horrible service. And is completely unsafe for animals or families
- Mike (2/5): Terrible, many other hotels to choose from. Don't go here. - The Fact there was a bed to sleep on The toilet was running, Air conditioner was loud, window to the outside was cracked. Bed was stiff, not comfortable, Pillows were small and no support. Asked for a late check in, to sleep in, as i didn't have to work til 6 p.m. was woken up by a phone call, that i obviously didnt get up in time to reach because the phone was across the room. Then a knock on my door asking me when i wanted to sleep in til, followed by the front desk lady, at my door, telling me there was an extra cost to sleep in. which was almost an extra hundred til 3 oclock.
- Matt (1/5): - There is nothing I really liked about it The building had a musky, mouldy smell to it. The room felt outdated had mouse in my room, mouse poop in my bed.

- Donovan (2/5): Has potential. - The location is great, the entire property has potential. The smell, the lack of cleanliness.

- Preston (5/5): - The bar. Rude staff.

- Jhov (1/5): Very disgusting - None at all Very disappointing experience especially the service of the staff..I don't recommend this hotel
- Daniel (1/5): DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE - When the hotel was first booked, the pictures presented a safe environment. I paid the hotel room for my ice cream vendors. they showed up to the property and observed drug dealers on the property.
on booking.com, it stated there was ONLY a 100$ deposit due upon arrival. the attendant then attempted to force my vendors to pay then 200$CAD and when I attempted to put it on the company credit card where they DOUBLE charged my card for the room even though it WAS PAID through booking.com. they also put 100$. They made me fill out a 3rd party form AND email a picture of my SENSITIVE credit card details.
in total, they took 100.00 deposit, 140.61 for the room, and booking.com took 146.31. they took almost 400$ from me.
My ice cream vendors had my ice cream truck containing thousands of dollars of product in it. upon requesting a bottom floor room so they can keep an eye on the ice cream truck the front. The hotel was empty, and they attempted to put them on the second floor.
ultimately, my vendors decided the stay was complete unsafe. when I addressed the fact that the hotel had committed fraud by taking money, they should not.. The representative told me NO ONE was in to take the call.
I will be calling the police and pressing charges of fraud. this needs to be rectified ASAP to prevent me from reporting the situation to the police.

There were blood stains on the curtians and floor, the walls were very dirty and stained, fixtures were very shabby, scratched and stained.

- Pulvermacher (1/5): Bad - The hotel is so gross.... and the staff have NO idea what they are doing. They charged my husband's credit card twice and tried to fight him on it. Unfortunately my husband's staying here for work and they promised him to clean the gym to use from a little water on the ground and they can't even do that. The room wasn't even clean... it was all around gross. I would Never book here again unless we had to like this time. Unfortunately, slave lake is very busy with work and this was the only hotel available that was pet-friendly. Worst experience we have ever had at a hotel to this date. In the room everything was falling apart.. spilled drink marks on all the pictures, knife holes in the couch...the bathroom didn't even look like it was cleaned just a quick wipe. Awful.
- Levi (2/5): Very poor -
- Rona (4/5): For the money, it wasn’t worth it. The hotel needs to be updated, fresh paint, new carpets, or better cleaners that stea - The location It was run down, the room I was put in was musty.
- Ben (4/5): Sad to say that I will avoid this hotel the next time I am in Slave Lake. - One of us had a little breakfast (a few mouthfuls), the other didn’t have anything but would have done had there been something more interesting. Bed was in a silly location up against the wall. Only one person has a table to put anything on beside them. The hotel smelled musty. The floor in the bathroom looked filthy (even if it wasn’t). It was way over-priced for what we got in return. (We are on a four night trip, yours the most expensive and yet the most disappointing hotel of them all).
- Ruaan (2/5): Very poor - The parking lot Everything
- Balkaran-singh (1/5): Bad -
- Logan (1/5): Bad - Good size parking lot Rooms never got cleaned, sheets never changed, just dirty in general, smells like cigarettes more days than not
- Nicole (1/5): Bad - Stayed here with 3 of my classmates . Booked a 2 queen and gave us 1 queen bed and a sofa . we did not have a choice because the town hotels are fully booked due to a hockey game . The bed was filthy with yellow stains. The pull out couch have very bad stains of dog poop. I had to buy an airbed so my classmate and I can sleep on the floor. The carpet has brown stains leading to the bathroom. The bathroom tub is yellow and walls have so many water splashes when we came in. Hotel smells like mold. we asked a favor to print out a few stuffs for our school work and front desk said we have to pay. So probably not best for people who are travelling for work and business because they do not have this printer/computer station for emergency access like other hotels in town. We just did not have a choice because we needed to a place to stay for few nights . but the rooms are beyond filthy. I wish i took pictures.
- Small (3/5): Would not recommend - Good location
Good parking Beds half made daily
Rooms not cleaned
- William (3/5): Poor - rooms were dirty

- Margaret (7/5): It was good besides the loud noises on the top floor of the room I stayed. - I didn’t have breakfast there. The noise people made on the top floor of my room.
- Jd (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was great, gym was good, room was good, bathrooms were good. Better sheets on the bed, mine had a weird grease stain, when I asked for a new one they said we will be right there to fix it, had to call the 3hrs later, then someone came right away.

- Bellwood (5/5): Passable -
- Bellwood (5/5): Passable - The cancellation policy is ridiculous
- Ramsey (9/5): Superb - I liked how friendly and welcoming the restaurant staff was in the restaurant! Highly recommend to friends.
- Leanne (1/5): Way over priced for that a person gets. $50 a night room at best. - Should be condemned. Nothing
- Dessa (1/5): This booking app is horrible - The hotel itself was great!! I was charged waaaay to much, booking. Com fault, can't get ahold of anyone about this, never again
