• Sam (9/5): Loved this place. It’s dreamy, clean, well thought-out and I would definitely stay there again. - Love the location, cleanliness, comfort, decor…everything is so thoughtfully arranged and put together and it was really just what I needed in a stay. I wasn’t really able to enjoy the back deck because it was neglected (bird poop, grime etc) but I didn’t miss it much, and still had the view/dock access. I couldn’t work the record player — not sure if it’s busted, maybe worth checking — and we had the issue with the lockbox upon my arrival but Aimee was really kind and efficient in trying to solve the issue for me (and I managed to get it open).
• Seth (1/5): They over booked the property and then rescinded on promised 100% refund. - The only nice thing I can say is that they at the time, owned up to their mistake of over booking the property we booked. They gave us a stay at another rental which they told us twice in text and once other the phone would be 100% complimentary. The other rental was very nice. However, weeks later they decided that they were going to rescind that offer of complimenting us the rental after talking to Booking.com and in turn did absolutely nothing to make up for their huge mistake. It's a shame because we did enjoy the 2nd rental and would have used it in the future since this is a location we frequent due to Bethel Woods concerts and Family in town. We booked this rental over thanksgiving. We even had confirmation that we could arrive at 4 pm on Thursday. When we showed up at the rental Thursday night, there were people already there. They over booked the property. We were 4 hours away from home with a 5 month old baby and our dog and no place to stay. We called and they did not answer for a bit. Then told us they would get back to us and we had to call them an hour later looking for some solution.. Unfortunately they had nothing to offer us that night except offer to pay for a hotel for that night but with our dog that was not an option. We were fortunate enough to be able to crash on a family member's couch. But that's not even the worst part. They told us they would fully refund us the 2 nights and give us a 100% complimentary night stay Friday at a different rental they own. The only reason we stayed in town was because of the free night. We would have turned around and went home Friday morning because it was already such a disaster of a trip not having the first rental with a baby and dog. Weeks after the trip we still didn't have a refund and after reacting out they changed their mind that they would only refund us 50% and did not comp the night we stayed. So all they did to make up for their huge mistake was give us the money they legally owned us since we didn't have a rental Thursday. They actually made money off the deal because the original place was rented by someone else and they charged us for a night to stay at a rental they didn't have booked up. The 2nd location was further from where we were visiting, it was not water front and they assured us 3 times we would be fully refunded and they rescinded that promise. The only reason we stayed. I would not trust renting a property from these people and unfortunately they own a few in an area we frequent due to Bethel Woods concerts and Family in town.
• Garry (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and would go back there again. - Location was great, and the accomodations were excellent. Has everything you would need and more.
