On a pu louer directement des vélos dans l'établissement et ces derniers étaient de qualité. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. Bref nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le transfert avec le ferry a pu également être organisé avec la Casa de Leela donc tout a été facilité pour que nous passions un séjour des plus agréables. parfois le coq aux alentours qui chantait tôt le matin mais avec des boules quies, plus aucun souci ;-)

Photos don't do it justice! - Absolutely stunning self catering apartment, staff were so helpful and catered to our every need. Daily room housekeeping and fresh towels was an unexpected bonus. Excellent pool and facilities, helpful reception staff sorted all transfers and requests for us. Great location, all of island accessible and only 5 minute cycle from centre of town. The photos of this place don't do it justice, it was paradise. Nothing, it was perfect.

- Hiba (4/5): mauvaise experience. - L'emplacement ainsi que le personnel. Il y a eu d’importants travaux à la piscine située près de notre bungalow, ce qui a généré de très fortes nuisances sonores et a considérablement perturbé nos vacances. Pendant 4 jours, nous avons dû subir 2 jours de travaux sans aucune communication ni information préalable. Nous avons trouvé cette situation totalement inadmissible, d’autant plus que nous étions venus pour nous reposer et profiter du calme. De plus, nous n’avons pas pu profiter de notre piscine pendant la moitié de notre séjour, ce qui a fortement nui à la qualité de nos vacances et à notre expérience globale.

- Matthias (10/5): Toller Bungalow in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage - Wir haben drei Nächte in der "Maison d'Amour" verbracht. Dieser große Bungalow mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern, riesiger Terrasse, privatem Gartenbereich und kleinem privatem Pool war wirklich sehr schön und sehr sauber! Das Hotel liegt etwas im Inselinneren, was uns persönlich gut gefallen hat. Dadurch war es sehr ruhig und man war mit dem Fahrrad trotzdem sehr schnell an allen Stränden etc. Die Fahrräder haben wir über die Unterkunft gemietet - diese könnten mal erneuert werden. Wir haben vor Ort das Frühstück dazu gebucht. Dieses fanden wir gut aber doch recht teuer. Insgesamt ist die Hotelanlage sehr schön, gemütlich und gepflegt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
- Katrien (8/5): Goed gelegen om La Digue te verkennen. - Casa de Leela ligt centraal gelegen en is daarom ideaal om overal met de fiets naartoe te rijden. De shuttle van de haven is een pluspunt, maar is niet goedkoop (250SCR enkele rit). Ruim huis met twee ruime slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Ook het grote terras is heerlijk! Casa de Leela ligt op een groter domein waar veel zorg voor gedragen wordt. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad aan ons huis was in onderhoud en we vonden het jammer dat ze dit niet vooraf lieten weten. We konden wel het zwembad van de buren (Coco Lux) gebruiken, maar dat was niet zichtbaar vanop ons terras dus moest er altijd iemand van de ouders meegaan. Aan de keuken was een raampje en daarachter was het poetslokaal van het personeel. ‘s Morgens hoorde je hen daar werken. Je moet dus zien dat de gordijntjes naar beneden zijn, want ze kijken zo binnen.

När vi anlände fick all nödvändig infomation + att de fixade så att jag och min man fick närliggande lägenhet med våra barn så att vi kunde dela altan = Helt perfekt. Vi kunde hyra cyklar på plats, toppenbra, det var en kort cykeltur till centrum med alla restauranger och butiker. Fanns även en restaurang på gångavstånd (take away om man ville) där de kunde fixa god glutenfri mat. På det hela var allt toppen, får vi möjlighet återkommer vi gärna

- DEJAN (9/5): Great bungalow - Very friendly and helpful owner. They arranged bike rental and transportation to/from the pier for us. The location is a bit out of the center but everything is close by bike. The small pool next to our bungalow will need renovation but who needs a pool with such beautiful beaches? Our 2 bedroom bungalow was really spacious and very well equipped, including the kitchen. Very comfortable beds with soft linen and fast internet. So everything was great and I highly recommend it. - Stefanie (7/5): Charming place with friendly hosts — a bit dated, but it has character. - The staff is very attentive, and the owner takes the time to explain everything to each guest. She’s also easy-going and not petty — for instance, she lets you use the beach towels even on the day you check out. The apartment is spacious, and the garden area is very charming. The furnishings are a bit dated, but that’s not really a problem — except for the yellowed toilet seat and the brownish electric kettle. The wind caused the front door to rattle all night, but we managed to stop it with a spatula.

- Milan (10/5): - We spent almost 3 weeks there. The staff were always very friendly and always took care of everything according to our needs. They lent us bicycles of sufficient quality for getting around the island :) for 100 SCR per day per bicycle. The location of the accommodation is absolutely great. All parts of the island are evenly accessible. One of the best and cheapest takeaway restaurants (Rey & Josh Cafe Takeaway) is about 200 meters away. You can eat there for 75–95 SCR per portion. We highly recommend this accommodation.

- Alison (7/5): Comfortable and spacious! - We had a nice stay at Casa de Leela in the 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. The villa was very spacious, the beds were comfortable with very nice bed linen and duvets, the veranda was lovely with nice lounge chairs and the kitchen was well equipped. The gentleman that cleaned our villa was wonderful and really kept the house spotlessly clean. Stella was very helpful and informative. Location was good, a little far from the beach but close to the islands best take away, Rey and Josh. The pool was a little worn as was some of the furniture in the living room/kitchen, however still fully functional. Some of the bikes were a little old, my sons was very rusty and had a lot of oil on it that rubbed off on his clothes. The breaks worked well though so they seem taken care of.

L’accueil est très chaleureux et bienveillant, le logement spacieux et bien entretenu avec des équipements de qualité. Le petit-déjeuner pris chaque matin est bien fourni, avec des produits frais. Tout nous a plu! Merci à tout le staff de Casa de Leela.

Stanze pulite e curate con tutte le forniture necessarie come frigo cucina posate. Bagno spazioso e comodo anche per due persone. Personale premuroso e preparato, Mitica Stella che ci ha consigliato bene per bar ristoranti ed escursioni, e anche il buon Namal per le cose della struttura Biciclette un po’ scomode ho dovuto chiedere una city bike altrimenti non sarei riuscito ad usare la bici l’ultimo giorno. Piscine piccole.
- Corinna (9/5): Absolut gelungener Urlaub auf La Digue - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Wir hatten ein Apartment gebucht und sowohl die Ausstattung als auch die Sauberkeit waren super. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Bei unserer Ankunft hat man uns direkt angeboten Fahrräder zu mieten, was wir gerne in Anspruch genommen haben. Auch die Qualität der Fahrräder war gut. Die Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da es schön ruhig war in der Anlage. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man allerdings sehr schnell im Zentrum und wenn man keine Lust hat zu kochen gibt es mehrere Take aways in Gehweite. Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden.

J'aurais dû m'y prendre plus tot pour la réservation afin d'avoir mes 5 nuits, c'est entièrement de ma faute, je le regrette bien. Je reviendrai sans hésiter
- Sofia (10/5): Bungalow excelente no melhor dos cenários - Ficamos dois dias num bungalow que era muito mais bonito ainda do que nas fotos.... E certamente nenhuma foto faz jus à beleza de todo o enquadramento envolvente. As bicicletas que se alugam no local podiam estar em melhores condições. Também me parece que o transfer desde o porto (literalmente 900m) poderia ser complementar, o preço (200 rupias por trajecto) é claramente abusivo.

Todo esto rodeado de la propia y frondosa vegetación de la isla. El apartamento muy espacioso, con cocina, nevera, microondas, zona de estar con sofá, terracita con zona para comer o otra para estar más en relax. El dormitorio muy amplio, con una cama enorme, y el baño muy nuevo y tambien amplio. El personal muy amable y servicial, la responsable del alojamiento hablaba Español y fue una alegría poder comunicarnos con ella en nuestro idioma. Nada, todo fabuloso

- Stephanie (7/5): Aufenthalt als Familie in schönem Haus - Wir hatten das schöne alleinstehende Haus Maison d‘amour, das größte wohl auf der Anlage, mit kleinem Garten und Minipool. Das Haus war geräumig und sehr sauber, mit toller Terrasse und guter Aufteilung. Schön war, dass jeder auf jeder Seite zwei Liegestühle hatte. Betten/ Matrazen waren sehr bequem. Man konnte auch gut abdunkeln. Die gesamte Anlage mit drei verschiedenen Pools sehr schön und sauber. Wir hatten direkt an unseren Hausgarten angrenzend zu unserer Überraschung und zu unserem Ärger eine Baustelle. Wir fanden es nicht fair, dass uns bei diesem Preis dies vorher nicht mitgeteilt wurde und sich nicht direkt unaufgefordert entschuldigt wurde. Bei Ankunft wurde geklopft, gesägt, gehämmert. So war die angepriesene Ruhe natürlich nicht vorzufinden. Ohne Baustelle wäre es schön ruhig. Ab 16.30 war es dann ruhig. Es war auch eine hauseigene Baustelle, ein SPA soll entstehen (mehr sollte auf dem Gelände jedenfalls nicht entstehen, sonst wird es zu voll…). Jedenfalls hat sich der Manager dann entschuldigt, ein Hauswechsel war nicht möglich und wir bekamen unsere Räder für die Woche umsonst und eine kostenlose Taxifahrt zur Fähre als Entschädigung. Ein bisschen mehr Entgegenkommen hätten wir uns noch gewünscht, die Baustelle sollte eigentlich morgens später beginnen damit wir in Ruhe frühstücken können, aber sie dauerte von 8.30-16.30. Wäre die Baustelle nicht gewesen, dann würden wir deutlich höher bewerten, da wir die Anlage, Haus und Lage sehr schön fanden. Also: vorher Stand der Bauarbeiten erfragen!

- Mateusz (10/5): Nice place to stay on La Dique - The lady who runs this place is very nice, quiet, and secluded. Daily service is provided, bikes are reasonably priced at 100 SCR for rentals longer than three days, and airport transfers are 200 SCR for two people. They also offer breakfast and laundry, and they can arrange many things for you. They allowed us to stay after checkout to use the bikes and the grounds, including the pools, while waiting for the ferry. The house was very spacious, the bathroom and wardrobe were huge.

- Laura (9/5): A lovely place! - The room was super beautiful! Everything in so good condition, comfortable etc. There was a lovely terrace also. And the whole premises was a lovely garden with three small, warm pools. I saw some reviews calling them plunge pool so I expected something smaller, but they were a few meters long so you could swim in them. Lovely bed type chairs next to the pool too. The staff was nice and helpful. Everything was explained to us very well when we arrived. There were some nice restaurants nearby. Wifi worked well. All in all you could see in everything that the guest house is well maintained and they are really trying to make it a place were you can just stay and relax. I would have been happy just staying there all the time, but if you are like my husband and want to always go somewhere and just use the guest house for sleeping, then maybe a more convenient location would be better for you. The guest house was quite far from everything, but still walkable and especially bikable - bikes were available for rent there. We also took a taxi to a beach that was further away. I'm not sure if it was only our room, but the ant problem was worst ever. It was not just floors as in most places, but you could not leave even a smallest stain on the kitchen table or a toothbrush next to the sink without an army of ants conquering it. I got it a bit more under control with spraying poison to some tactic ant entrances. This was also the only place I remember ever having to constantly take ants out of the bed, even though we did not eat anything in the bedroom. And I have stayed in probably 200 different places. (Edit note: accidentally wrote mosquitos instead of ants earlier, there were some mosquitos too in the room but "normal" amount.)

She gave us a wonderful breakdown of all our options on the island and was able to make calls and set up meals, transfers and activities. The hotel is relaxing and quiet with only a few minutes to the beach or town. The outside pool areas and garden are the perfect area for relaxing and enjoying the vacation.

- Miha (10/5): great stay on la digue - This was our second time visiting, and we enjoyed it as always. It's in a good location, as it's in the middle of any direction. A quick bicycle hop will take you to a more lively part, but it's very peaceful for a good night's sleep. Beds are really big and comfy. It would be amazing if there was a washing machine in the apartment. They do have laundry service, but traveling with little kids can be quickly super expensive.

From the moment we arrived, Namal, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The entire staff was incredibly supportive, friendly, and always willing to assist with a smile. The bungalow we stayed in was immaculate, spacious, and well-designed. The kitchen was fully equipped, which allowed us to prepare our own meals with ease. Both bedrooms were large and had direct access to a massive terrace, where we spent countless relaxing moments. The terrace itself was a highlight, offering ample space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool, just steps away from our bungalow, was pristine and a great spot to unwind. The entire property is thoughtfully designed with lush landscaping, creating a serene and picturesque environment. Casa De Leela’s location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful and away from the noisy areas, yet close enough to shops, restaurants, and takeaways. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We also appreciated the added touches that made our stay even more special. They provided a gas grill, which we used to barbecue fresh fish we caught from the ocean – such a memorable experience! The hotel offers a seamless transfer service to and from the harbor, and having bicycles available to rent directly from the property was incredibly convenient for exploring the island. Casa De Leela exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located, and welcoming place to stay on La Digue, this is it. Thank you, Namal, and the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!
- Manuel (8/5): Unforgettable - The Villa itself and the rooms were exceptionally good We didn’t like the bike rental offered by the management. They were rusty, old and not comfortable. We even paid for these bikes. The manager should allocated at least 4 new bikes to the villa only. We didn’t like Miguel the Manager, he was not helpful and unfriendly. He definitely doesn’t like his job there.
- Mihkel (8/5): Good place to stay in La Digue - We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was very good. Kitchen has everything you need to make your own meal (the stove is a little bit slow in heating up, but it works). Filter coffee machine, so bring your own filters and coffee. They also offer breakfast for 275 rupees/ per person, if you don't feel like cooking in the morning. Bed comfortable and wide. AC is only in the bedroom, but can cool both rooms down quite silently. Bathroom has a shower and we never ran out of warm water. Plus, plenty of space. The overall size of the apartment is good. Terrace had two sitting areas and you could also cover it from the sun (or rain), if needed. TV is not a smart TV and its not really comfy to watch it, but youre not going to watch the TV there. WiFi works very good. Three pools to choose from, all are small, but closest to the apartment has nice sitting and shade options. There's also an outside shower right next to the apartment. They rent bicycles for 150 rupees per bike/ per day, which work nicely, and we recommend renting them for every day as the place is quite many steps away from the "center", though we walked almost every day. La Digue is a small island. But, if you're arriving with the ferry, and with your luggage, then we suggest booking their transfer service for 200 rupees one way. We recommend their place as the staff is nice and its a good place to spend your nights on the island. It's not a big deal, but the apartment is a little bit outdated and renovation would be nice. Safe is oldschool with an actual key, but it works. Bedside lamps, attached to the wall, make an eerie sound when moved and it's even more scary when the neighbors move theirs (we had a kid staying next door and he liked to play with the lamp at 6AM). Air ventilators (in bedroom and living area) were working, but you couldn't change the speed much. Mirror in the bathroom wall was placed quite low and if you're taller than 165 cm, then you'll struggle seeing your face. Also, there's a cock living behind the fence and he likes to sing at 4AM :) But none of these mentions are huge, so don't worry when booking.

- Irinel (10/5): Best place for a relaxing holiday - It is a lovely clean place, close to the take aways (Gala, Rey, and one on the left and one on the right), close to beautifully beaches, and port. it has his own bike rental and you can order a delicious breakfast there. It is really clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. Has 2 pools and the rooms are just perfect, with bedroom lounge, kitchen and bathroom and plenty of room for storage. Coming out from the house of in the left you can get to north part of the island,( bikini beach, Anse patates,...) on the right you get to port, then Anse sous d'argent, grand anse, supermarkets, here is Gala take away too. Our stay was perfect, thank you noting to complain

We stayed in two bedroomed bungalow for 3 nights, then into deluxe bungalow for final night. Both properties were spacious, with Large comfortable bedrooms with good pillows and great showers Air con worked perfectly and gave us excellent night's sleep. Well equipped large kitchens in both. Nice little pools with sunbeds. Good bikes for hire. Great takeaways within a minutes cycle ride Our only minor complaint was that we had no ceiling fan on the main terrace of our deluxe bungalow, nor seat pads on the chairs. Small issues that I'm sure would have been rectified if we had told reception. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed bungalow for our first 3 nights then moved over to deluxe but we actually preferred the two bedroomed, which was in fact cheaper.

The lodge ordered dinner from a local restaurant they work with. It was gorgeous. Though you need to be patient. It arrived 1 hour late. But it deserve it Possibility of renting bicycles, though you canrent tiempo everywhere in the island, it's more confortable to rent them there. It is close to a Nature Reserve and surrounded by trees. You can see lot of fruit bats from your room. We didn't find beds comfortable, though it is something personal.

Rooms are spacious, kitchen fully equipped, pools are small but enough for relax. Walking distance from famous Anse Source d’Argent Shortage of electricity once or twice but I guess it just happens on a small island
