Guest Reviews
- filippo (1/5): No, sconsigliato. - Posizione molto lontano dal centro e dista 30min dalla fermata della metro più vicina.
Bagno sporco con muffa…
Scala per salire al primo piano pericolosissima
- Scott (8/5): Traditional experience with space for the family. - Traditional experience in a quiet part of town, walking distance to shops, restaurants, & buses. Lots of sleeping spaces, and living space. Was lacking curtains which made for an early morning wake up.
- Theodor (7/5): Good - Easy check-in and check-out. Nice bathroom with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Worked very fine as a home base for our friend group. Poor sound insulation. Also, the ventilation was covered in dust.
- Hanna (9/5): One of my favorite places I've stayed in Japan - The decor was incredible, the traditional feel plus the little garden were really special. Location was great - 5 min walk from a fantastic bath house. You're in a quiet neighborhood with shops and restaurants walking distance but never more than a 10-15 mins drive to the bustling center of Kyoto. There was many buses to chose from that made it easy to get around the city in under 30 mins. It was the most space I've have while traveling in Japan (I'm used to tiny rooms with no space to exist) and having a common space like this felt like luxury. Internet was great - no issues with zoom calls. All the rooms are upstairs and the stairs are indeed pretty steep. There is a bathroom upstairs so no need to go down in the middle of the night. More storage space would be nice. Also worth mentioning that one of the three bedrooms is a passthrough room with no privacy ( you need to walk through it to get to the other bedrooms ) but our group was ok with that.
