Guest Reviews
- Wendy (6/5): -
- Sachdeva (2/5): - The host was a very nice person. I left my mobile there and he found it for me and even sent it to me in London via post. The room was fine, storage area was not very clean. The heating was not good, the water was also cold in the bathroom. The mattress was smaller than the bed frame and uncomfortable. I don't want to post a negative review but want to want to set the expectations as it is not as per the pictures.
- Ana Lucia (10/5): -
- Stéphanie (7/5): - Bon rapport qualité prix
Très propre
Proche des bus pour le centre d'Edimbourg Deco

- Triinu (5/5): Grateful to find a place during the Military Tattoo, but didn't feel too nice. Decent if desperate. - - Was grateful to find a place to stay at a busy time at a reasonable price in comparison to others (Military Tattoo week)
- Location was alright; Peaceful residential area, which was nice.
- It was great to get in via a keybox
- The bathroom felt like someone is at least trying to make it nicer/upgrade something, but it wasn't the most practical (the tap and sink didn't really sync up and the entrance of the shower was a bit snug and strange with a mirror right in the shower? Odd!) - The communication was bad - I had to chase up via WhatsApp after not having received a reply in two weeks in here. Would have expected better.
- It didn't really feel like a regular room you'd usually rent on Booking.. it felt as if your family friend had a friend that had a spare room where you could crash for the night, to help out. There were personal belongings everywhere, which didn't leave much space for us (lots of clothes in a filled-up wardrobe hidden behind a half-open curtain right next to one of the beds on the floor + other things in and on a cupboard in the room + bookshelf filled with stuff too).
- It smelled bit damp and not super fresh in there
- Shower drain was clogged and there was nowhere to place the items in the shower (no ledge or something)
- The door lock was a bit sketchy
- There was no low light option for the evening. Only bright ceiling lamp.
- No tellie
- Stephen (1/5): - Leaving the house Been in the house, theres mould on carpet, foosty smell through out the house, dated wallpaper hanging off torn, no light in the room , can't see out the windows for dirt, more old clothes in the room than a well stocked charity shop, very poor to none existing hygiene through out the property, honestly felt disgusting to be inside,
- G.Hyks (10/5): - Host was super friendly, gave lots of tips. We booked last minute, and were accommodated well. The property was great value for money. Easy to access transport (bus) to city centre. Very close to the seaside, which is lovely to take a walk along. Basic accommodation, served my needs perfectly.
- Hervé (4/5): -
- Khan (1/5): Need to be clean - Owner is good but property is not clean It was not clean
- Leon (7/5): Good simple place to stay for a short period - Nice quiet district, and Louis is a friendly host. N/A
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Kenneth (3/5): I won't be back - The owner was friendly The place wasn't clean. I didn't even have a shower as it looked so dirty.
The owner said he was new to booking.com and hadn't checked it recently.
I arrived after midnight....After travelling....and had to wait for the bed to be changed.
