Guest Reviews
- Kristrún Ólöf (8/5): - Góð staðsetning og sætt gamalt hús eldhús fínt með flestu sem maður þarfnast, þvottavél í stað uppþvottavélar eins og virðist vera í upplýsingum en kom ekki að sök. Pínu að finna þar sem nafn á húsi stemmdi ekki við nýtt nafn sem var uppgefið.
Vissum að stigar voru brattir svo það var uppgefið.
Erfitt fyrir okkur ad finna kveikjara fyrir sturtu til hún virki er fyrir framan wc dyr, box niður við gólf vinstra megin.
Þurfti lag við að læsa útihurð á eftir sér.
- aguilera (8/5): Charming cottage but shower needs fixing - Location and the property I called the phone twice when I arrived and when I didn’t have hot water and they told me to message them instead. That made the communication so slow and difficult specially when we didn’t have hot water at 7pm. They were asking obvious questions and not tackling the problem straight away so we actually left for dinner without knowing if we’d have hot water that night. Turned out a fuse was off and they fixed it while we were out. Pressure in the shower was too low and water lukewarm. Stairs ate very steep and not shown properly on the photos. We were young but for elderly people or people with limited mobility would be very hard to climb the stairs to the second floor with the double beds.

- Joanne (8/5): Great stay - Cute Steep steps to the top floor
- margaret (10/5): Wonderful residence with historical appeal in a quaint town - We felt the property had an historical appeal to it. It was an individual space/house/apartment, with kitchen, bath, an old hearth, a neat staircase, a bay window with a bench, and a little rear garden. These kinds of residence make the experience a little more real as to how local live or may have lived. Versus a hotel room where you can’t tell if you’re in Dubai or Hong Kong because the hotel rooms look all the same. We are not familiar with the shower mechanisms so we were a little confused. We forgot to ask for instructions on how to use it.
- Maria (9/5): Great place, clean and location was as expected -
- Laurie (7/5): Overall, loved it and would stay there again! - It was a fantastic stay and we loved it. It was very charming and decorated very cute. We loved the character of it. Excellent kitchen. A few more supplies would have made our stay better. We needed more toilet paper, firewood, washcloths, one more plate in the kitchen, and would have liked larger bedspreads on the twin beds.
- Stephen (7/5): - The cottage location is great, and we enjoyed having a cook top and refrigerator. I wish I had known where Tesco was. Also, we should have known about the steep steps which are not good for older adults. We had trouble with the shower and also the tv..they did not work as the guidebook advised.
- Jamie (9/5): Perfect Cotswolds stay - Great location, very cosy and had everything we needed The walls upstairs were quite thin so we could hear next doors music
- Michelle (10/5): Really enjoyed it - Beautiful and cozy with lots of character We were unable to access some of the tv services.
- Lesley (7/5): Good place to stay if you’re OK with steep, twisty stairs - Great location & cosy comfy cottage The stairs were very steep and narrow - particularly to the top floor
- samantha (10/5): -
- Yan (8/5): -
- Paige (10/5): - We loved our stay here!! The accomodation had charm and all the necessary amenities for the perfect stay. The location was ideal for us as it was only a short drive to other villages we wanted to visit but not the main attraction. Plenty of free parking out the front. Flag: the upper most level with the two single beds is accessible only by a very steep and quite precarious stairs. Whilst this is managed with signage and a rope used to support yourself, it would be very difficult to carry up luggage or if you had mobility issues. This did not impact our stay but just helpful to know
- Joshua (6/5): Was good but could have been better - The cottage is absolutely beautiful and situated perfectly for walking into town There was no hot water for a bath on either night and despite 2 messages sent about this (one of which was completely ignored) this was not rectified.
Also the property is listed as having parking but when you look into it it’s actually just near a small, free carpark in the town centre so expect to spend 20 minutes each time you arrive back driving round looking for a space
- Magdalene (9/5): Highly recommended. - The location is excellent. The amenities were beyond expectation. Unit is clean and cosy. The stairs are pretty steep, especially to the top room.
The shower in the bathroom seems tobe spoilt and we had a hard time taking our shower.
- Sangduan (9/5): Superb -
- Alfano (10/5): Perfect stay in a charming Cotswold cottage - The cottage was so charming and had everything we needed. The location was great and you felt immersed in the town.
- Mike (9/5): Lovely cottage in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Piper (9/5): Very comfortable and cozy - Very cozy, easy access to town.
- Stephanie (10/5): Sweet cottage in the village. - Charming. Quiet rooms for sleeping. Sweet garden space and a window nook for reading. Good shower and a blow dryer.
Very nice. The stairs can be challenging, exercise caution. Suggest one overhead handle be placed to the right of the door coming down from 1st level or above the door.
We managed fine even with bags.
- Lesley (10/5): Lovely stay in Cosy Cottage - Really enjoyed our stay at Cosy cottage.Perfect location on High Street and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay.Close to everything in Moreton in Marsh.Easy self check in. Not really any dislikes as everything great
- Sarah (8/5): Practicalities a bit unclear for first time visitors - Aesthetics a 10. It’s a pretty place. Very clean. Located on a quiet end of the High Street. Easy to get in with a lockbox for the key. Need better instructions for the heating and hot water system and the tv. It wasn’t clear why we needed to move the car on Tuesday morning, but we did because of the house manual.
- Donna (9/5): Perfect base for visiting the surrounding area - Beautiful cottage in a perfect location
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
