• Julie (10/5): Super séjour à Tiongman - L'équipe du Scubadive est vraiment au top. Rudy a hyper bien communiqué et a été d'une grande aide. Le lieu est magique et les chambres qui donnent direct les pieds dans le sable sont vraiment parfaites. Il y a pleins de petit resto aux alentours pour petit déjeuner, dejeuner et dîner. Je recommande les yeux fermés ! RAS
• Ng (7/5): - It is next to a dive centre and restaurants. It's right by the beach front with a beautiful view. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and the room lock is a bit faulty. Room is a bit small for 3 pax. Nothing much to do at night.

Splendido staff, sempre disponibile e paziente, io parlo un pò di inglese a modo mio, quindi maggiormente tramite google traslate, ma sono Stati tutti super disponibili, non ho fatto immersioni per problemi personali, ma mi hanno comunque organizzato una bellissima giornata di Snorkeling,e hanno la birra. Consigliatissimo, se avrò possibilità ci tornerò.

• Freya (10/5): Amazing staff and comfortable rooms. - We had the most amazing week at Tiongman Lodge. Everyone was beyond welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere was so lovely. The room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. Shower had good pressure and bathroom was very clean. We unfortunately didn’t get to do our PADI, for reasons out of our control, but other people were doing theirs while we were there and the instructors were so chill and easy to learn from, everyone was very happy, we would love to get our PADI from these guys. Such a great community. The snorkelling here was the best we have had, so much marine life- was amazing. We cannot wait to stay here again! Very quickly became one of our favourite stops within our 5 months of travel!

• Novi (8/5): - Perfect location in front the beach. The sunrise straight coming to the room. We stayed on beginning of October which is perfect. Almost no one on the beach , the sun was good (not too hot). We stayed at 2 different room , the first room that view to the beach is just perfect. Our second room upstairs was okay , the crew are very nice people .. just need to work more on cleanliness.. last 2 nights was hard to sleep as we felt so itchy the whole body. Thought it was mosquito bite , but then we realized it’s most probably bedbugs Since its on island , that’s hard to complain about it

Avec des activités super sympa à faire tel que du snorkeling ou de la plongée sous-marine. Honnêtement j’aimerai trouver des défauts mais je n’en n’ai pas. Le logement est propre simple et basique .

• Cosimo (8/5): SOGGIORNO CHILL A DUE PASSI DAL MARE - La posizione, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, rende il soggiorno davvero indimenticabile, complice anche lo staff sempre cordiale e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Le camere, seppur non molto ampie, sono pulite e curate. Un dettaglio speciale per gli amanti dei gatti: qui troverete tanti simpatici amici a quattro zampe pronti a ricevere le vostre attenzioni. Sarebbe meglio includere il costo del trasferimento in pickup direttamente nel prezzo totale della prenotazione, considerando che dall’arrivo al porto delle isole l’unico modo per raggiungere la struttura è proprio questo servizio.

• Susanne (10/5): Unser happy place - Alles! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Tauchschule / Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Die Menschen sind sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und offen. Als wir eine Nacht ohne Klimaanlage verbracht haben, konnten wir sofort in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln. Unsere Unterkunft war mit Meerblick auf den Juara Strand und hatte viele gute Restaurants um sich herum. Auch ein Supermarkt und verschiedene Läden zum Verleih von z.B. Kajaks / SUP waren nebenan. Ich habe bei der Tauchschule meinen AOWD gemacht und hatte mit Rudy sehr Glück einen entspannten und äußerst kompetenten Instructor gehabt zu haben. Auch die Fundives mit Amer und Maya haben sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Wir haben durch Maya, Amer, Rudy und Brian auch viele hilfreiche Tipps zu Ausflügen oder sehenswerten Orten erhalten. Sie kümmern sich wirklich super um die Gäste und sind stets hilfsbereit. An- und Abreise mithilfe der Tauchschule hat super funktioniert! Nichts. Alles war super!

Las chicas que trabajan allí con Rudi son un poco serias en el trato, te hace sentir que molestas. Quizás que el lavabo pierde agua y no funcionaba la luz en la terracita de afuera

The property is beach facing and it's a great place to stay to just relax on the beach. Nothing. Only recommendation would be to have a floor or table fan in the rooms. The weather was pleasant so the AC wasn't required always but a fan will help with ventilation.

The staff was never around, it seemed a place run by random people who were there volunteering but not very welcoming and friendly. Also common area wasn’t too clean. Not great value for money

We initially messed up the dates but I got in contact with Rudy and he sorted them out for us with no problems at all. The staff are all amazing and there is a real community feel. Waking up to the beach every morning is also a highlight! We will definitely be coming back here and highly recommend! Thanks so much!

• Khalilah (8/5): My best stay by the beach experience. Amazing sea view with nicely decorated room. Quiet & relaxing - We stayed in Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View and the sea view definitely worth it. I love chilling in front of my room and just enjoy the view, the sound of the waves, cats keeping me company. The resort location is more secluded and less busy with people walking around compared to the side along The Barat. It is quiet. In the room, you get a medium sized fridge, small bottles of soaps and shampoos, electric kettle and mugs, towels, hanging rack, water heater in the shower. Drinking water are available at their dive center beside. Restaurants and mini mart are just nearby in a walking distance. For breakfast, you can get easily from the restaurants just beside Tiongman. Bike rentals places available behind the resort. To get to the resort, you need land transport from Tekek jetty. The resort offers 4x4 pickup transfer with a price RM35/person per trip for locals. As the resort name itself, of course they offer scuba diving activities. Unfortunately for us, we can't go for a discovery dive because the water are too rough. Can't even snorkel so we don't get to see any fish & corals in Tioman. We don't have the time to catch to join snorkeling trip. We went for waterfall hike instead on our own. Last but not least, kudos to Mr.Rudy from Tiongman for giving us a welcoming feel. He picked us up from Tekek jetty. He is amazing. Friendly. He gave us some guide and tips of staying there and shows us around. - mosquitos at night. couldn't just enjoy laying in the bed and let the doors open at night. - Sliding doors are see through. No total privacy where people walking by can still see you inside the room. It is especially not a pleasant condition for Muslim ladies like us. We need to cover ourselves in the room while enjoying the sea view with the drapes open. Tiongman, please consider putting on the tint where you can see outside clearly but people from the outside can't see you inside. I would have given 10/10 rating if it is not for this and if only there is a hair dryer provided, trash bag for the dustbin, mosquito coil, some hooks in the shower to hang towel & clothes. - location wise, there are not a lot of restaurants to choose from nearby and they are not open all the time. We arrived for check-in at around 3pm after a 2-hour ferry travel and took a rest. We hadn't had our lunch and couldn't find any open restaurants nearby at that time. We were starving! We got a bike and roam along the road and finally found place to eat. I think it is the only restaurant opens early. We had our meals at around 6pm at Juara Ocean Cafe which is at the end of the other side of the village. September is not a good time to go to Tioman because the weather is bad. For those who wants to go for snorkeling just by the beach, I suggest to stay at the other side of the island. Not Kg.Juara because it looks like beaches in Juara are wavy. Even there's no snorkeling point indicated in the map you get when you paid the marine conservation fee at the Tg.Gemok jetty.

• Magdalena (8/5): Very good - the people at the lodge & scuba dive area were such amazing people - really open, friendly and try to make your stay as perfect as possible. The room itself was good, I liked the space! :) Overall it was great! There were just some garbage leftovers (waterbottles, paper) from earlier guests, but they were hidden under the bed so maybe they werent seen while cleaning. Maybe not good for people afraid of cockroaches or bigger spiders, but if you dont mind roommates then its all fine :)

• Ramelyn (8/5): Cosy diving lodge - The beach front lodge was pretty cosy. Waking up with the sunrise right in front of you is pretty amazing on its own. Staff and all dive masters are very friendly. Highly recommended. Its not too much of an issue for us. But pls note that since its in Juara beach, the property is on the other side of the island so you need to pretty much arrange your 4x4 transport which incurs extra cost.

• Katja (8/5): Very good - Extremely helpful staff!! Ac worked, hot water in shower. Really calm and clean beach. Climate super humid so be prepared that clothes not dry fast :) check if the pillows etc has mold dots. I got an allergic reaction. Staff changed the pillow immediately when I noticed and asked. It seems like there is darkened windows in the room and curtains that give privacy. Check night time the visibility from outside. I realized that having lights on in my room, one can see in the room even curtains are there.

We felt very much at home and had some amazing diving! Amer is a very experienced diver and patient and funny instructor. The rooms are clean, the beach is beautiful and the company awesome - what more could you wish for!?

The dive centre is also located there and the diving is very professional and the instructors very knowledgeable about the dive sites. Lots of marine life spotted whilst diving. In the area are plenty of nice local restaurants at all types of budgets. The staff here are amazing and made our stay very pleasant and unforgettable. They arranged everything from the transfers to the diving, and driving to different restaurants. WiFi at the location very fast. A/C worked well. Nothing. Liked it all.

We will definitely come back. - We stayed 2 weeks with Pavlina and Brian and their 2 sweet kids and the diving crew and loved it so much, they soon felt like family. Everyone is so nice and the diving experience was great. We did a open water diver course with Rudy and are now addicted to diving:) the food at the beach was so tasteful and all the locals were so nice. Nothing to do with the accommodation. But the sand flies are a little annoying. Use coconut oil and everything will be fine :)

• Nicole (8/5): Good value - best place on Juara! - Staff is super friendly. Bathroom is spacious so even though it's a wet-room you can shower easily without wetting the whole place. Good amenities: shampoo & soap, kettle, cups and water filter provided. There's many paid activities to choose from and snorkelling equipment is RM15 per day. Bed is a little harder than I'm used to but overall great stay. Towels were more like blankets but they were fine.
• Daniel (10/5): An absolut recommendation without any negative points! - Everyday is sunday! :-) The location, people/host/personal, the view, the atmosphere, the beach, the sea, the sunset and sunrise, the casualness, just relaxing. It’s possible to stay here without having any dive. You don’t need to be afraid of getting asked every time if you want to dive or snorkel. If we could we would stay here for weeks. But we want to see more of this country :-) just one neutral point: there is no possibility to get waked up by sunrise without showing the whole content of the room to the outside. because there are only blackouts curtains. Semi-transparent curtains would be nice.
