• Laura (10/5): Heerlijk en rustig verblijf op een prachtige locatie - De locatie is prachtig en de gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk. Verderop zit een restaurant waar je heel lekker kan eten (holly bush inn) Alles beviel

• Elle (10/5): Breathtaking countryside, welcoming host and delicious breakfast! - We loved the stunning location and beautiful building. It was so peaceful and Jane was so welcoming. The room was so spacious and the decor was lovely and calming. I loved the blankets on each bed, felt like home comforts. We enjoyed the huge windows with amazing views. In the morning, Jane welcomed us with a delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for a gorgeous night away! If you stay on the weekend you might find guests coming back late from weddings but it wasn’t an issue for us!

• Nichol (9/5): Lovely B&B, very close to Otterburn and all local Wedding Venues - It was a lovely stay. Jane was lovely and did amazing to sort our stay to our needs. As we had a wedding to attend, we needed the room much earlier than expected but Jane did everything to accomodate us and ensure we had the best stay. Breakfast was lovely the next morning too. We stayed here as we had a wedding at Woodhill Hall, Otterburn. Perfect location to get too and from the wedding venue with no issues and would stay here again if another wedding was to take place. There was nothing to improve at all. Jane the host was lovely and the location was beautiful. All our requests were met as the staff went above and beyond to ensure a brilliant stay for me and my partner.
• david (10/5): Just what I had hoped. Typical farmhouse welcome. Big rooms and great views. - The host was lovely. Friendly, efficient and professional. The room (Rede) was huge. Lovely views from two sides of the room of the surrounding landscape. The room facilities were very good and the breakfast was just what we wanted. Nothing too fancy but enough choice to suit. Host very welcoming. Not applicable.

• Margitta (10/5): Alles perfekt und super nett :-) - Dieses B&B liegt mitten in der Natur. Umgeben von Weiden und Wiesen und Heidelandschaft. Jane ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Es ist eins dieser englischen B&B`s, die ich liebe. Ich habe geschlafen wie ein Baby und Jane macht für jeden das perfekte Frühstück. Top Service, sehr sehr freundlich. Besser geht es nicht. Ich würde sofort wieder buchen, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin. Alles war perfekt :-)

Die Landschaft war so beruhigend und vor allem mit den Schafen und Pferden draußen. Nichts, man hat genau das bekommen was man erwartet hat, ein sehr feines englisches Landhaus.

• Kieran (10/5): Outstanding location, views, breakfast and service. Worth every penny! - Jane was absolutely amazing, treated us like old friends and we wanted for nothing. Boys and I loved garden, Rooms and attention to details. Breakfast choice was perfect, we ate like kings and didn’t need lunch! Very child friendly location and breakfast choices. Bonus points for large windows and able to star gaze from comfort of our rooms, though little bit of nearby light pollution. No electric charging points for car, but honestly considering it’s a farm, no biggy, loads nearby in villages. I’d maybe consider getting a pay-by-customer charging points.

• Malachy (10/5): Birthday weekend away, Suffolk - Northumberland. - Breathtaking views from our room (Percy) generous bed with heated topper, electric fireplace in the room too. Lovely hot shower with enough space for the taller and wider gentleman, or ladies to move about. Jane was an incredible host, very warm and welcoming, but also left us be which was nice. The fire was always lit, and breakfast was delicious, we were the only guests at the beginning of March, which meant we had the beautiful 1400s house to ourselves. Some great eating establishments in the surrounding area, we chose to visit the first and last pub, about a 5 min drive away, and Sycamore the following evening which was about 30 mins south down the A68. We visited Edinburgh during our stay, which only took about 1½ hours, meaning we could be in the city before it got too busy. So all in all a great stay and a wonderful location. We will be back! Nothing we didn't like, but we did notice that the Christmas decorations were still up, however, Jane did mention that she had been closed over the winter period.

This is my personal view Room needs a little TLC and better attention to detail cleaning ,Bed mattress very soft and not very comfy on your back. Lots of cob webs around the main light bulbs and ceiling half the light bulbs not working also cob webs on the curtails to wall. Bathroom needs painting and upgrading , black Sealant mold in and outside the shower unit, wall tiles grouting missing just needs a upgrade and door ceiling and wall need painting.. Did not feel right that we had to let ourself into the property on arrival had to telephone owner for details on what we needed to do, no welcome until the following day. Dog coming into the dinning room at breakfast concern for people with allergies to dogs as myself also hygiene. look at booking in times

A bit chilly for us but the weather was very cold for the time of year probably. We were also expecting the lounge area to be warmer environment. We had a little heater brought to us as it was a bit chilly. Good shower and a very comfortable stay. We had a menu to fill out for the next morning too, which is a really good idea. We liked everything so there wasn’t anything to dislike.
