- Keith (8/5): Nice place, but needs make an effort to home comforts - Looks like the photos. Had a comfortable bed, best shower, washing machine was very welcome and a great location for carnival. Nice rooftop pool and a lovely doorman. We loved Encarnacion itself. Very friendly and welcoming city. No effort was made to make our stay homely. Kitchen equipment is cheap in Paraguay. But here random, minimum crockery. Nothing matched not even the cutlery. Had to wash up all the time and bought our own sponge to do so! No microwave, no toaster or even a coffee pot, nor colander to drain pasta. No hairdryer either. Opened a dirty drawer trying to find one! Just felt owner only wants your money as it looks nice and made no effort on anything else. There is more to hosting than nice photos, even the sheets on the bed had not been ironed, and no streamer or iron available after we had finished the washing. Disappointing stay.

- F. (7/5): Lovely modern apartment in Encarnacion - Great modern and clean apartment with the bonus of the pool upstairs. Good location, just 10 minutes walk from the Costanera. The shower has amazing pressure! And useful to have a washing machine. In the kitchen there are a few basic cooking items missing (such as a chopping knife/board, colander) and those that are there are rather random. Not an issue if you're not planning to cook! The walls are very thin - we could hear the neighbours watching TV loudly at night. NB: you have to pay by cash
