- KYOKO (8/5): コスパ最強人気宿。 - 栄えた町中の静かなエリアのゲストハウス。 皆協力的に夜時間は静かに過ごしてくれた点。 観光に便利な立地。 周囲に飲食店、コンビニ多し。 利用者の問題ですが夜時間、ドライヤーの周りに落ちている髪の毛達。 パウダースペースを多めに作ってもらっている代わりにスーツケースを広げて荷物を整理するスペースがほぼ無い。 (大きめのスーツケースの方は気を遣ってベランダで荷物整理をしていました)

Didn’t feel particularly clean, and one night there was no hot water in the showers. However, I messaged the staff and they had fixed it by the following day.
- MAI (8/5): 安心してぐっすり眠れるお家🏠 - 空港泊をしようかと思っていたのですが、直前でお得になっていたため寝るだけならベッドがあるだけで有難い！と思い宿泊。 当日夕方の予約をしたため暗証番号がすぐ来ず焦りましたが、チェックイン前に連絡が来て助かりました！ ベッドは清潔でシャワー室やトイレも全然綺麗でした！ タオルは置いてくださってる他に2階にも用意されていたので追加で使うことも可能です。若干生乾きの匂いがしたのですが問題ないです！ 宿泊者も周りを気にして静かにされていたので睡眠もしっかりととれました。 없어요! 감사합니다! 더 이용해 주세요!

- Basinska (9/5): Overall good except the bed sheets. - The place had everything and was super close to Hongdae. Everything needed was nearby. The beds were very comfortable. My favourite prt was the washing machine that made doing laundry simpler than ever. The bed sheets were not covered and they smelled.

But the dorm room was so small there was no space for anyone's luggage. There is no kitchen in this hostel, not one cup or spoon or even à sink! Just one tiny bath bathroom sink at the toilet and shower. It's a very small space.

The dorm beds are spacious and give you privacy and the kitchen small but nice. The dorm rooms are small with not much room for luggage. There are also not enough bathrooms for the number of people. The mixed toilet and shower (there was a separate one for females) are in one and we often found ourselves queuing to use them, which was frustrating when you wanted to go out.

- Julian (9/5): Comfy beds, quiet place, erratic availability of bathrooms for males - Beds were very fluffy and soft, which is a change from the very stiff ones at most other hostels. The building was nice and pretty quiet. The outdoor patio had a cherry blossom tree just over the edge and was very beautiful (April season). Kitchen was okay. It had a filtered water station. Only one bathroom for up to 18 people. The one upstairs was unisex and the one downstairs was female only, so I had to wait several times to just go to the toilet. That was quite troublesome. The hallway was kinda narrow. There really wasn't any staff present.

- Jessica (8/5): Very good - Good value for the money, beautiful location (on the walk to the guesthouse there was a road lined with cherry blossoms)! Towels free to use, excellent hair dryer! Beds squishy and the capsule style and curtain provides nice privacy. Girls dorm 1 wasn't labelled so I was a little lost when I arrived (all check-in is self check-in). The room also had poor ventilation. It would have been nice if we could open the window but it was covered so it couldn't be opened. The first woman's shower has no hook or shelf to put your belongings so they don't get wet (the far back shower has a shelf, so most girls used that shower). Small things that can be easily improved:)

- Christian (8/5): Good place to stay on a budget that's near to good cafes - Very good location; lots of cafes and restaurants to go to and has a youthful vibe to it. Place is an old house that was turned into a hostel which gives it a homey and rustic charm. Would recommend this place to someone who isn't super picky and someone who enjoys meeting other travelers.

- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Probably the best hostel in Seoul. One of those rare gems of accomodation that I am grateful to have found. Clean and comfortable beds with full curtains for privacy -- a seeming luxury in Seoul given how many popular hostels operate without this necessity; regularly cleaned toilets that are spacious; great heating...just all around a fantastic stay. One particularly lovely thing I noted is that they leave baskets of fresh towels upstairs and downstairs to use after you put the used one in the laundry giving you immediate access to towels without the need to find a hanger to dry the used one. First time I have seen this system and it is wonderfully thoughtful. Even without staff, this place succeeds in dispelling any sort of confusion or awkwardness during checking in owing to the well-written information provided and the intuitive design of the establishment. I would like to see more of these places in the world -- giving my best wishes to the owners in any future ambitions they may have.

The bed was good, but the room was a bit too small. There was barely any room in front of the ladder to get up to the bed. And there wasn't a lot of space to store big luggage.

She was so noisy up to 2am morning 😩 If you're hard to sleep, consider to book a separated room instead of dorm. The house itself is a little bit old and made from wood so the sound from people when moving is louder than normal house.

It is not very easy to find this house.I arrived there at late night for some reason.But I found that I couldn't enter the house since I didn't have the password of the door.I was tired and stressful standing outside the hostel alone at late night,having no idea about what I could do and there was no reply from the hostel's manager.Fortunately there was a nice guy who was also a guest of this hostel opened the door for me in the end.But the moment I entered the house,I realized that I didn't know which room and which bed I was supposed to go to because the manager of the hostel didn't send me any information about how to check in.And there was no staff at all in the hostel.Fortunately the nice guy who opened the door for me helped me call the manager and I finally got my room number as well as bed number.But the manager who was talking on the phone was not good in English which made it difficult for communication during that call.When I finally found my bed in the room,I found that there were other person's stuffs on the bed.Which means it looked like there had been someone else who used that bed.I was so confused but there was no response from the manager on LINE for my question.I finally decided to go to that bed because I was too tired and too sleepy to stay outside for one more second.And it turned out in the end that there was a weird girl who put her stuffs on my bed.She took her stuffs back when she came back to the room and didn't say a word to explain why she did that.I was too tired to talk to stranger in a strange place for an answer.The space in the room is quite narrow,it's difficult and kind of dangerous to get on the upper bunk bed.The AC is quite noisy.The manager of the hostel didn't explain why he didn't send me the room and bed number,or any guide about how to check in.The whole experience was so weird,kind of horrible and unpleasent.There was no staff who was gonna be helpful.

Bed and mattress was not of good quality. Some of my friends also received the complementary breakfast in other guest houses
- Espagne (5/5): Spot is good but bad guesthouse overall - The location is very pleasant, in a calm alley very close to one of Seoul's most vibrant neighborhoods. The wooden interior of the guesthouse gives a warm feeling to the place, although being very tiny (much more than the pictures show actually, so be careful if you think you're booking a room in a mansion, it's not that at all). The person in charge of check-ins and cleaning wasn't very welcoming. He also struggles with English, a little too much to be welcoming foreign guests actually. Concerning the place itself: if you're a woman, you have access to 2 showers and 2 toilets, which is just enough for the size of the place. If you're a man unfortunately, there's only one shower and one toilet available for you to use, and they are in the same room! Adding that the laundry machine is also in there, you might find yourself several times waiting for someone to finish using the toilets to take a shower or even worse, waiting for someone to finish showering to use the toilets. It has become VERY inconvenient during our stay to the point where I would not recommend to book a bed in this place. Might seem like a detail but it's actually insane that they thought it'd be a good idea to build this place like this. I've also seen girls waiting in line for the girls toilets/showers so yeah, facilities are poorly built. Also, the kitchen is tiny and wherever you are in the guesthouse you hear everything. Sidenote: the window of our room was left open when we checked in, so we spend the first night not sleeping at all, but instead fighting with mosquitoes until 4 am. We were so mad and it kinda ruined our first day in Seoul. It's overall ok for the price, hence the mid grade but otherwise it's pretty bad (especially as a guy).

- Joyce (6/5): Pleasant - Staff is friendly and helpful. They answer questions even before arrival and the contactless check-in is a plus. location is nice although it's a long walk from Hongdae Station, you can go through the park daily. I don't know if it's just me but the room felt a little hot. It might be the bed set-up but it seemed like you have to choose between privacy and comfort bec you either have to draw the curtains for privacy or open it for the A/C to get to you. The female shower/toilet was also too cramped. but there is a mixed shower on the second floor.
- Austry (7/5): Convenient - The location is good (15 minutes away from Hongik St.). Lots of restaurants around. There’s a big shared kitchen and lockers are provided in the room for luggage. It could be cleaner.

- Rose (7/5): Good - Location in Hondae was safe and the area had a good atmosphere plus great places to eat and drink. The room was clean and had good air conditioning. The kitchen has everything we needed and there was a 24 hour shop (CU) very near. The traditional style of the building was nice but the hallway/entry was cramped and full of shoes. It was always a long wait for a bathroom; both bathrooms had the shower and toilet in the same room (the only washing machine was also in one of these rooms). There was a room full of washers and dryers we couldn't use so we ended up paying for the 24 hour laundry across the street. In the room (private double) there is no wardrobe or drawer to store your belongings, just a few hooks. It was noisy at night (people in other rooms).
- De (9/5): Superb - I really loved the privacy you have in the rooms, even though there are other people sleeping there also. It was a beautiful guesthouse and the hosts were very friendly and hygienic! The kitchen had everything you need for a short stay, and it's really nice to talk to the people there because we eat in the same place. It's just a very good hostel, I really recommend it! It was a little bit hard to find, but that is not a big problem. That also means you get to see the area, which is very cool and beautiful!
- Nend0 (7/5): Good - Great location. In the middle of a vibrant community mapo-gu, universities close by, and easy to get to the airport and pretty much everywhere travellers would go within Seoul. In a dormitory, it's more like a capsule hotel, with each capsule-like partition being reasonably spacious. Good ventilation makes it pretty comfortable. There are not enough toilets so it's a bit of a down side. The kitchen probably needs a bit more space so backpackers can sit together...there is enough space for four to sit at one time, and this was inconvenient

- Veronica (6/5): It was okay. - The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hosted was very nice. The toilets. So humid and the showers were together so everyone locked the door when one had a shower. They should have the toilet separated so more than one person can use it. Also a lot of humidity and really hot in the hall.
