• Craig (10/5): The perfect place to stay in west Auckland - There was nothing I didn't like about my stay. The hosts were amazing and supplied me with so much from snacks, breakfast cereals, to a huge stack of towels. The space was huge which was wonderful for me, as I live in a very small studio apartment. I loved having a dedicated work space / desk where I could comfortably work when I had to. I loved the comfortable sofa which I am guilty of snoozing off on in front of the TV. I loved the bed, which was super comfortable and I slept so well and everything was spotlessly clean. The property is down a driveway behind another house, which keeps it away from the road and any potential traffic noise, making it such a peaceful spot, surrounded by trees, and I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds including a Tui and blackbirds foraging for breakfast in the garden beds outside the bedroom window. My hosts were always available should I need anything, not that I did, and it was so easy for me to come and go as I pleased. There was a dedicated, off street, parking space right outside the front door and the location couldn't have been better for me as my Mum lives just around the corner and I was in town to visit her. It was the perfect place for me stay and I cannot recommend staying here highly enough. There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like, I mean not one single thing.

• Donna (9/5): Quiet, private, spacious, clean, warm & welcoming - Spacious converted garage under a home but so quiet, private and clean. Roomy living, dining, kitchen, laundry area with two small but private bedrooms at the back and a small bathroom that has everything you need (pictures are accurate). Down the driveway there are two dedicated carparks directly outside the unit which makes for easy access, especially as Steve had also emailed photos and helpful instructions beforehand. It was lovely to be greeted and shown around by Steve who explained everything, it makes a difference to have that personal touch when arriving. Steve and Debbie are so generous and thoughtful with breakfast options, snacks and treats, along with plenty of extra towels and blankets. Walking distance to supermarket and cafes. Location was perfect for us visiting family 10 minutes away in Te Atatu Peninsula. Thank you Steve and Debbie for a happy weekend.
• Jane (10/5): Beautiful Property – Some Clarification in Listing Needed - The home was very clean and looked even better than expected. The hosts were super friendly and thoughtful, providing snacks, drinks, and setting everything up nicely with heaters and comfy beds. They were also very welcoming of our extra guest and even set up extra chairs without us asking. All the little touches made our stay feel really special. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back! Wonderful Stay, Just a Note on Clarity The home itself was amazing—clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We had a great stay and really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the hosts. One small thing to note: the listing could be a bit clearer about the setup, especially that the hosts stay on-site and there’s an additional room above the garage. It wasn’t a problem for us, but a more transparent description or images would help future guests better understand the layout and level of privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the place!

• Veronica (9/5): Awesome place. - Great location, only 6 min drive to where we needed to be. Loved the snacks that were supplied, along with cereal, bread, fruit pots, yogurts, Sprite and Coke, tea and coffee. Forgot my togs so didn't use the spa but separate towels are supplied for it which is great. Washer & dryer are a good addition, was good to be able to freshen up our travelling clothes just using 15 minute wash and quick dry (no timer visible for dryer just timed it myself). Hosts are lovely, making sure they knew what we wanted before we got there. Good quality Shampoo and body wash which is very appreciated. Loved that they sent photos for directions showing motorway exit and directions to property including where to park etc.That was super helpful. Only got to meet Steve who was lovely. Great communication, will definitely stay again if we're back in Auckland at any time. For me the bed was too firm but my husband loved it so not really a negative.

Breakfast food are well prepared, just enjoy it if don't want to go out for breakfast. With laundry (Washer and Dryer) is awesome. Perfect choice for self-driving traveller.

We will be bac - We were a group of 3 Loved everything about this property - Easy to access , Fantastic location , extremely quiet , Beds were comfortable, with extra blankets. Hosts are the most Genuine lovely people you could meet Breakfast was supplied from fresh bread to cereals , fresh milk to fruit , expensive chocolate to biscuits. Clean and tidy and the ability to use a washing and dryer in kitchen area , one of our group was disabled and he found everything flat and easy to move around in . Dining room table was set with plates and knives ready for a meal , every room has a door ensuring privacy and quietness especially for a group . Shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water, supplied shampoo and body soap. Lots of towels available , every room has Drawers or a cupboard to store your clothes inc hangers for shirts and suits Parking off street for your car The hosts are like visiting your own family they make you feel welcome, We are planning to do more group events and will always stay here , Don’t hesitate to book here , you won’t regret it , 5 Star absolutely Brilliant It was perfect no complaints
