Guest Reviews
- Rosalyn (8/5): Delightfully cozy, in spite of it being 1 degree outside! - Cozy, very comfy bedsheets and blankets. Nice and private!
- Stuart (9/5): Comfortable and cosy, a tiny gem in peaceful setting - The accomodation was very accurately described, so expectations were met. It is a tiny house. Very tiny. Comfortable and adequate for what we needed. It was very easy to find. I left something behind and the host went above and beyond in her effgort to get it couriered to me as quickly as possible and at the least expense. It was a little further than we liked from the town we were visiting, but we knew that when we booked.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Joy (3/5): Not worth the money, better to stay in a motel - It seemed new and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean It wasn’t really rural, you could hear the cars on the main road very loudly. The portaloo/cassette toilet smelled and it broke in the morning so I couldn’t use the toilet before leaving. The space was way too small unfortunately to be comfortable. The fridge was dirty inside. It would have been nice for them to turn the aircon on for us before we arrived as it was boiling hot inside. The sliding door of the bathroom jammed several times and I couldn’t open the door
- Fiona (7/5): Very small but had everything we needed - Good location and close to where we needed to be Location
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Manaia (7/5): Good -
- George (7/5): Good -
- Jared (8/5): Very good - The scenery and location The toilet and the view, turn the room 180deg
- Keeley (8/5): A lovely night away - The host is super lovely. Let us check in early so we could get to the wedding we were attending across the road. It is a well designed tiny home with beautiful farm views and very comfy bed.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ciaran (9/5): Superb - Hosts were very accommodating and offered their phone numbers in case I had any issues, cosy place, and an amazing location. Would really recommend it if you have rented a car. Smoke alarm went off when air con turned on. Not a big deal and have flagged with host so hopefully fixed soon
- Bettina (9/5): Superb - It was very cosy and comfortable.
Hosts were lovely.
- Len (9/5): Lovely tiny hideaway - Clean and perfectly presented. Peaceful location
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Brent (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good. Handy to both Hamilton & Cambridge.
Site is secure and parking is excellent.
Great for walks along the road too.
Rural outlook. First night was super noisy with the Oyster Catchers flying around squawking, had no ear plugs (bought some for the 2nd night!)
The Airconditioning stunk on arrival, I washed out the filters in the shower, they were so clogged up....it seemed to help, could certainly hear the relief from the aircon unit :)
A few spiders & webs. Ultimately, the cabin needs a good clean.
With a good clean and the lawns mown, it would make a very nice stay!!
- Lou (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay - Cute little house with stunning views Nil
- Tracey (8/5): Great spot - Clean, comfy & peaceful As above
- Louise (7/5): Convenient location - Location is rural and conveniently situated near Hamilton Airport, Mystery Creek & Cambridge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable but does not have an easy chair (no room) but does have 2 seater table & chair setup inside & on the deck.
Security is good with a combination lock on the main property gate. The accomm is situated closer to a rural highway than expected and a cow bellowed in the next paddock until after midnight which doesn't quite gel with the idea of a quiet rural setting although this is not unusual in the country.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (9/5): Fantastic little home away from any town/city noises. Really close to Hamilton/airport. - Loved the tiny home and everything in it. Nice and warm in the middle of winter using the heat pump. Floor can be a bit cold in the middle of winter but wearing socks helps.
- Hannah (10/5): Such a beautiful farm stay, extremely relaxing and cosy! - Such a beautiful farm stay, extremely relaxing and cosy! The cabin was warm, the facilities (shower, bathroom etc were perfect). I stayed x1 night with my husband and we loved it.
- Hague (6/5): Pleasant -
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elgersma (1/5): Bad - We liked the location. The facility has a potty loo. We used the potty loo from Saturday afternoon 3pm and by Monday morning after 5am we could not use the potty loo..the potty loo was full
Also the gate was locked, we could not leave the property. We knocked on the door and phoned the owner. No reply this happened on the Sunday at 9.30 am. At our leave on Monday morning at 7 am again the gate was locked. No hand rails for the steps to enter the facility. Windows had no fly screen.
- Nima (7/5): I had a good stay - the property was clean and in a nice area it was a bit expensive
- Mosese (8/5): Very good - Loved the location, amazing view of the stars at night
Friendly hosts
Peaceful and quiet
Suuuper comfy
