Guest Reviews
- Julien (10/5): Great hanok for a relaxing stay. - A great stay in an hanok, located in a very quiet location. The owner was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We also enjoy the conpany of his cute and friendly dog, who sleeps quietly outside the house.
We had a car and it was easy to reach the house and the main attractions in the region.

- Kathrin (10/5): - A true 5-star experience. Lee Cho Hanok was one of the absolute highlights of our three-week trip to South Korea. The hanok is beautiful, cozy, and full of charm, with a very tasteful and welcoming atmosphere. Its location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet the centre is only about ten minutes away. The owner was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and generous. We even went on a beautiful hike together, and when our Uber to the station did not show up, he immediately helped us. We felt genuinely at home and are deeply grateful for the outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended.
- Véranda666 (10/5): - It was an amazing experience for us! The host is super nice! Very polite man! He even took us to the train station in his car! The hamok house is very comfortable and cozy! The bed is huge! The village is super peaceful! The property is a bit far from Gyeonju city center. Around 18 min by car.
- Dr. Dirk (10/5): Undoubtful one of the better accommodations in South Korea - Unique place. Very well located. Quiet. But it is recommended to have a car. Cute dog always on the chain.
- Tina (10/5): - The host! Nice person! The place
- Camille (10/5): Thank you so much for a memorable stay! - Really cosy and comfortable, spacious and the host was so kind and friendly There could have been more tea and coffee options. Perhaps a bit on the pricy side

- Alessandra (10/5): Beautiful hanok.Quiet location, detached from the touristic part of Gyeonju. As a foreigner I particularly appreciated - Staying at Lee Cho’s Hanok was extremely special; we were brought back to another era yet feeling like in a 5 star contemporary accommodation with all facilities. Each detail in the hanok was perfect and made us feel truly at home. Host was extremely kind. Location is magic.

- Sarah (9/5): Peaceful and beautiful hanok stay. - The house was even more beautiful and clean than any other place we stayed. It was peaceful and comfortable. Heated floors were awesome. It’s fairly remote, so it would be better to have a car.
- Dirk (10/5): - Wonderfull and calm location, very kind and helpfull host.
- Evaldas (10/5): We will comeback. We were looking for something traditional and local and we got it - Real traditional hanok with all comfortable stuff All was perfect
- Gibson (10/5): Lovely stay in Gyeongju. Highly recommended and we would stay there again if we are in Gyeongju - Lovely, quiet, but yet near the main road. Walking distance to the bus stop is about 10 minutes. The host drove us out to find dinner on our first day, gave us some souvenirs and even helped us source for Korean porridge on our second day A bit hard to find using google maps. Kakao Maps was better. But then in South Korea, Kakao Maps function better than Google Maps
