Guest Reviews
- Barbara (10/5): York apartment - Amazing apartment with everything and more that we needed Slight smell of damp/cigarette smoke as you go in to aprtment, however soon faded as we stayed there...
It says its very close to the city centre but now they've built the train museum and closed road you have to walk all the way round and takes around 25 minutes
- Andrew (10/5): Great - Location and figments No fans
- Tracy (9/5): - Comfy, clean and well maintained property
- christopher john (10/5): Excellent location and even better owner very accommodating - Everything Was only there two nights
- Mark (8/5): - Nicely furnished, large property, parking space
Great communication throughout.
- Terri (7/5): - Stunning apartment, very clean. Sadly TV issues on the first evening,
One of the beds had the slats keep coming loose.
And Sadly noise levels of traffic, perhaps triple glazing is needed
- Michelle (10/5): This apartment was amazing for our family of 3 with 2 very spacious bedrooms. Living room and kitchen great size. Decor - Lovely and spacious bedrooms were bright and large space living room and kitchen. Parking was under the apartment window. Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Great stay, handy location. All good 👍😊 -
- Graham (10/5): Beautiful apartment very close to the many attractions that York has to offer. - Great location and the accommodation was beautiful. We were there just before Christmas and the apartment was decked out accordingly and very tastefully. Owners clearly have a flair for interior design. Lovely bottle of red to welcome us too. Really nothing although it is the top floor so there are a couple of flights of stairs to negotiate so might not be ideal for the less physically able.
- Helen (9/5): - Very welcoming and cosy with Christmas tree too.Everything we needed was supplied Great parking.Clean apartment.Very comfy beds and lovely bed linen.Just a small spill on sofa which we were recompensed for dont think the owner had been informed by the cleaner..Owner was very courteous.
- Lynn (9/5): - The apartment was beautiful and it was lovely to walk in to find it decorated for Christmas. Very warm and well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable.
It was walking distance into the city centre and close to the train station Nothing
- Laura (8/5): A great stay, was exactly what we needed for one night in York close to the centre with a parking spot! - The property was spacious, comfortable and in a great location! The property did smell a little bit of smoke. It wasn’t really strong but almost like a previous owner smoked and the smell is just lingering. The proeprty was clean though!
- Dawn (9/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): Perfect for our short stay meeting up with friends - Location is excellent for walking into the city centre - right past The Railway Museum and Railway Station :)
The flat had everything you could possibly need including large mugs for tea and a teapot (usually a missing but vital item)
Very clean - no complaints at all
Great parking and easy access
Quiet location on the living room side Very strangely given it is no smoking accommodation as soon as we walked in, the place smelled of cigarette smoke and continued to do so throughout our stay. We initially wondered if it was the air fresheners but nope someone had definitely been smoking in there. Lots of windows to open, including patio doors (Juliette Balcony - I think it's called) so no major issue.
As it was very hot we had to open the windows in the bedroom which looks out onto a reasonably busy and loud road - not the owners fault but just a heads up.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fantastic stay here. Only for one night but it would have been a pleasure to stay longer. Great location for exploring York. Incredibly well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, spacious. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommended!
- Rebecca (8/5): Beautifully presented apartment - Beautifully decorated with great facilities and parking in front of the property.
Very comfortable living room and bedrooms, which were great sizes.
Hosts were very helpful with requests and had great communication throughout, including reaching out during the stay to ensure everything was ok.
Tea and coffee provided, just needed to bring milk.
Stayed the weekend before Christmas and was decorated lovely, great surprise for the family. The location was approx a 20min walk to the city walls.
If a family with young ones, could be problematic.
The rooms were great but the bedrooms faced a busy main road, and a little loud.
