Guest Reviews
- Lee (8/5): Great location etc….just a couple points that could be improved…. - Location, comfort, cleanliness, security hosts communication was excellent….beds great, layout good…really enjoyed our stay. Wifi wasn’t the best for the end bedroom and there was a lack of small pots and small fry pans for a kitchen that was very functional.
- ian (10/5): Relaxing three night stay - Nice clean apartment in quiet area Nothing
- Amanda (10/5): - Very clean, tidy and comfortable Didn't stay long enough
- John H 65 (8/5): Nice homely Apartment in a convenient location. - Very convenient location, next to a large Tesco store, with a cash point, and bus stop leading into City centre. Daytime buses come every 7 minutes. Large park opposite with kids playground, quiet road. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need. Some areas are quite rustic especially in the bathroom behind the toilet and bath.
- Yannik (9/5): -
- Meghan (10/5): - Very spacious and clean!
Great facilities
- Dermot (9/5): - Ample space, in a great location allowing us to experience both the city centre and local walks.
- Quinn (10/5): Overall great place very happy - Easy access to city centre
Clean and spacious
- Jagannath (10/5): - Excellent location.
- Juan Ignacio (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Great location and value for money - Location, space, value, access to shops etc Shower was quite week and the bathroom needs some TLC. However, this did not prevent us from having a lovely stay at the property
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Sarawanan (1/5): Will strongly suggest to avoid this property. Booking.com should delist such properties - The location of the property is next to Tesco supermarket which was the only good thing.
Kitchen decently equipped with necessary items 1) Climbing 25 to 30 steps to reach the room not mentioned while booking
2) The property was freezing. No access to temperature controls
3) The bedrooms are smelling
4) Sofa propped on brick block
- Carol (7/5): Comfortable, clean & good location much needs some attention to the building. - Location Musty smell of dampness
- Saikumar reddy (1/5): -
- maria (9/5): Spacious, clean, and comfortable. - Spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the basics you need for a short stay in an apartment.
Some reviews mentioned a lack of washing up liquid, toilet paper, or the apartment was cold. None of this was the case for our stay... the host provided teabags, instant coffee, sugar, salt &pepper, cleaning products, sponge and dishcloth, tea towel, kitchen paper etc.. and plenty of toilet paper.
The apartment was lovely and warm, and if you needed more heat, there were clear instructions on how to achieve this, hanging below the boiler. There were also clear instructions on how to open the door, use the shower, and log in to the WiFi hung up in visible places.
The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting a friend nearby. We like walking, so we enjoyed the half-hour walk to and from the city centre.
The Tesco behind was super handy, and we had a great choice of takeaways a few minutes away... Indian, Chinese, pizza, fish n chips, etc...
The waterworks park was lovely for a walk. Full of smiling families, large groups using the sports pitches, dog walkers, runners, or just people out for a stroll.
The host John was pleasant and informative, and replied promptly to any query I had before arrival.
We did not need to contact him at all during our stay as everything was so well explained before arrival or on notices inside. Can't complain at all about the apartment... we had a lovely time!
The only thing i could suggest is that the booking.com profile could benefit from more detailed information as to what is provided. Other reviews had me worried, so I messaged the host. Everything we needed was available, but it would be handy to know in advance.

- Cameron (9/5): -
- Lyndsey (5/5): - The beds was really comfortable the place was very clean There was no curtains in the single room my daughter had to get dress in the bathroom
- Megan (7/5): Overall lovely stay. With some slight improvement the stay could be exceptional. - Apartment is Belfast city centre and George Best Airport. Local Tesco clothing walking distance. Lovely park opposite the apartment. Noisy 1st floor neighbours, no extra available blankets and apartment was slightly cold during the day. Not adequate cutlery
- Joanna (10/5): - Świetna lokalizacja mieszkania, 30 minut szybkim spacerem do samego centrum.
W mieszkaniu wszystko czego potrzeba, wyposażona kuchnia.
Łóżka trochę wąskie, ale daliśmy radę :-)
Dziękujemy i polecamy!
- Susan (9/5): - The only thing that would not make me book this apartment again is the 10am checkout. Far too early
- Callum (5/5): - Was allowed a later checkout upon request, pushed it to 12pm, instead of 10am for an extra £25.
Good location, and cheap apartment. Black mould was everywhere all around the bedroom windows and walls, as well as bathroom, roof etc. See pics provided.
Random door in the hallway leads to outside, with an inch gap underneath, let's in all the cold air, smell of other tenants smoking. Was also a rat deter plug in, so we were in fear one of them may appear.
Bath has panels falling off it, as well as black mould everywhere.
Inside the kitchen extractor fan it is covered in grease. Kitchen floor is also peeling.
Front door looks like a closet/fire exit, is no way indicated its an apartment.
- Lucy (8/5): Great - Everything seemed brand new. Amazing amount of space and very close to bus stops and supermarket. We couldn’t make the shower work. The couches were of varying comfort.
- Antony (9/5): -
- Krzysztof (7/5): -
- Iren (9/5): - 40 minutes’ walk from the city centre, by taxi 8-10 eur
- Suraj (9/5): -
- Robin (10/5): -
- Sean (10/5): -
- Allison (10/5): Excellent and great value for money - A very quiet and peaceful stay. Supermarket, takeaway and bus just seconds away. A very large park right in the doorstep. Nothing
- Joseph (8/5): Nice place - We loved the location, neatness, communication it was good. The apartment was kind of cold, the heating refused coming up even after following the heating instructions.
- Filippo (8/5): - La comodità dell’appartamento e il vicino parco La cucina e il bagno da sistemare.
- Sarah (8/5): -
- Razi (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Walsh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (10/5): Excellent Air BnB - It was clean, it felt very safe and the breakfast provided was excellent. The location is perfect and parking was a breeze. Nothing.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Manju (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (9/5): I will return - Great location. Near a supermarket and my family
- Aisling (6/5): It was just ok - Not much Mould on bedroom walls beds felt damp very poor power in the shower 1 of the bedrooms were tiny felt very clostrophic
- Breslin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Couches were comfortable. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Towels were really really scratchy. Shower was very hit and miss with pressure and sprayed in all different directions. Also lots of cobwebs and peeling paint in bedroom.
- Julie (7/5): Roomy, basic apartment - Bright and spacious apartment with comfortable fresh bedding and plenty of crockery. Nice parks in the area. Supermarket nearby. Local buses useful. A few minor repairs needed to blinds and toilet cistern.
Grubby dishcloths left in kitchen (possibly an oversight) caused an off putting smell.
Poor location for restaurants etc.
Sense of neglect in local area.
- Tariq (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mchugh (8/5): Very good -
- Mandy (8/5): Great for the price we paid - dislikes are not deal breakers but a nice touch when self catering - Great location with easy access to the city centre by pass and adequate on street parking outside the apartment for the hire car. Needed Flutes for fizz :) - salt & pepper / oil / kitchen roll for when eating, cooking at home & a dishcloth/sponge for washing up
- Adam (8/5): Great apartment in a good location -
- Wanderluster (8/5): Loved the place - Location is really convenient. You can buy all your stuffs from Tesco in 2 mins walk. Bus stop provides easy access to all attractions. Heating and other fascilities are excellent. Toilet door lock should be fixed.
- Anish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (6/5): Cheap stay, the price reflected the quality. - Cheap and convinient Just a bit grotty, damp, outdated and dirty (potentially ex student property?)
- Darragh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): great location, apartment and value for money - apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy
good location, Tesco right behind for any shopping nothing
- Allison (9/5): Excellent property and location - Amazing location n/a
- John (10/5): Great accommodation and location for visiting Belfast and beyond - Good, clean, spacious accommodation with all the essentials required. Great communications from host with one minor issue being fixed promptly after a wee message. Great location with a Tesco behind the property and bus stops to and from the city centre on the Antrim Rd just a couple of hunderd yards from the property. Would recommend. All good
- Debra (6/5): Pleasant - The location it's near city centre The shower was lukewarm could not adjust it to your desired temperature and the house was cold at times
- Ramya (8/5): Pretty good - Great location and a decent place for a family . The host wasn’t available on phone at all . Tried couple of times but no luck. And wi fi could have been better, was available only in loving but not bedrooms
- Theresa (7/5): nice apartment, host fairly easy to contact, comfy bed. - Nice area opposite a nice park. easy parking out the front.
drawback was having upstairs neightbours, creaky floorboards when they walked around.
Couple of basic issues in bathroom, but fed back to host.
There was a non-slip mat in bath which was good
There was putting down space for toiletries which was good bit noisy if upstairs resident walks about and hear their alarm go off at 6am.
- Kathryn (8/5): Conveniently located apartment - Roomy, great location by park, bus, grocery and restaurants. Large living room, comfortable furniture. Host was quick to solve a problem with the wifi reception in the back bedroom. The place looks run down when you enter the house. However, the host says new carpet is on order.
The other feature that was bad for me, and maybe for others with mobility problems, is that the apartment is not on one level. There are 2 or 3 steep steps between the living/kitchen/dining/bathroom and the 2 bedrooms. Navigating this, especially at night for access to the bathroom was unpleasant.
- Muthyala (8/5): Very good - Location is pretty good and comfortable Little more cleanliness
- Adam (1/5): Worth looking elsewhere, not a finished product. - Good location, very handy to local amenities Property was not cleaned. The toilet was dirty and after one day I received a message from the host that they had left a toilet brush outside the apartment door. I’m a guest not your cleaner. There was no plug for the bath so it couldn’t be used and the shower had very little pressure.
TV was not a smart TV and the WiFi only worked in the living room. Floors were dirty and the communal hallways carpet was badly stained and smelly.
- Lorena (8/5): Very good - Location is great closer to the grocery and some restaurants nearby. The toilet doesn’t flush all the way .
- Angela (9/5): Ost - Very good location ,well equiped Washing machine could do with a deep clean. Wasn't able to use it. Some damp in the bathroom
- Alannah (8/5): Very good -
- Carola (5/5): Passable - Good value for money, comfy lounge, easy to find parking outside, close to a Tesco and bus stop to town; parkrun around the corner :) The kitchen was not particularly clean, one of the bedrooms was smelly (and with the bins in front of the window, opening the window did not help)
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Ruth (6/5): It’s an excellent base location for heading out for lots of adventures and travels in the nearby area. Not really a vaca - Location was great and for what we paid for it definitely sufficed. It’s definitely more of a place to sleep and shower, etc. - not so much for relaxing. A little outdated and the cooker and washing machine weren’t very clean but the bathrooms and bedrooms definitely were.
- Hoque (9/5): Belfast Visit - The interior was very good. The checkout time was early 10 am. We were in a hurry in the early morning with my children.
- James (8/5): Nice budget place close to shops and not far from the centre. - Clean and spacious. Close to shops. Unseasonal cold spell, heating was inadequate and needed to contact owner to turn it on/up.
- Patricia (7/5): In an expensive city this was good value for money. - Belfast accommodation is expensive - this was very good value for money.
Comfortable beds. Nice linen. Good TV & internet.
Parking available on street outside. As stated elsewhere...front door and lobby area are a little 'shabby'.
Kitchen was a little erratically equipped - eg, three forks, ONE wine glass, no drainer or washing bowl. Also, bottom cooker didn't work (but upper was fine to use). Minor irritations only as it was a short stay.
- Naomi (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Perfect for our two night stay and would book again. - Location very good and close to City Centre. John very helpful boosting heating as we an infant with us. Park with Playground directly across road and Tesco directly behind , both very convenient. Entrance door and approach needs an uplift! Front door damaged and a bit off putting on entry. However, all good inside. First impressions are important.
- Richard (9/5): A trip to Belfast - This is a large well appointed apartment, opposite a splendid park and on a short, regular bus route to the city centre.
And it is pretty cheap !!
- Stefan (10/5): Great location, great facilities - It was very comfortable and had a very good feeling to the place. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen more than enough for what we needed and a great living room to watch a few movies in. It is located a 1-2 minute walk from a Tesco and bus stop so it is super easy to get into Belfast when needed. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
- Kerry (5/5): Passable - The area is very handy. Bus service is good and just around the corner. The apartment wasn't the cleanest, dirty frying pans left in the cooker.
The apartment was freezing, and we had no control over the heating. I have a chest infection and had to sit with a duvet wrapped around me, as there was no heating on at all.
Someone has smoked near the back door as it stinks of smoke.
- Colin (7/5): acceptable for what the stay was for. - The property key was very difficult to get to as the key safe seemed to be incorrectly set. However, after a short while, we were given the correct code but even so, the key safe was still difficult to get into. After finding the key, there were no other problems encountered and indeed, some elements of food was left for us which was very much appreciated. See above
- Blake (10/5): Really pleased - Location. Easy access to the bus, park right outside the door and a supermarket just around the corner. Nice neighbors. Having a recycling chart would have been good. Not all people come from the same recycling system. Also would be good to have an "emergency evacuation" chart (I'm a fire marshal at work).
- Brenda (10/5): Contact with the owner was always seamless. He checked that we'd arrived and everything was ok. - Lovely apartment which was fully equipped. The location is about a £7 taxi ride into the City Centre (obviously cheaper by bus but with two of us, taxis just as good). Would recommend Value taxis. There is a Tesco store two minutes walk away for all your supplies and the apartment is right opposite a large green park. Excellent. Nothing.
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
