- INESSA (7/5): Overall, can’t say i would come back or recommend it to someone. Apartment is nice (even though has some issues), servic - The apartment itself is pleasant and nicely decorated, and its location is close to the ocean. It was advertised as having an ocean view, but in reality there is hardly any view at all :) — just a tiny glimpse of the ocean (about a 30x30 cm opening) from the balcony between the neighboring buildings and quite far away. Keep this in mind if having an ocean view is important to you (it wasn’t important to us). When we checked in and tested the lights, one of the kitchen light fixtures was broken and kept flickering. The host promised to send an electrician to fix it, but no one ever came.
The biggest downside, however, was the electrical system. I have stayed in Swakopmund many times, as well as in numerous places throughout Namibia and neighboring countries. Nowhere—not in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, or anywhere else—have I experienced circuit breakers tripping simply because several standard appliances were being used at the same time. For example, if you are preparing breakfast and have the stove, toaster, and coffee machine running simultaneously, the electricity for the entire apartment shuts off. This creates significant inconvenience, delays your morning routine, and affects the rest of your plans for the day.
One final issue: the office where the keys must be returned is located about 15 minutes away in town (or closer to 20 minutes with fog and traffic).
We faced the following situation: we had a long and demanding drive ahead of us to Etosha, which is in the opposite direction from town, and we wanted to leave early. I asked whether it would be possible to leave the keys somewhere near the apartment or hide them in an agreed location so that we would not have to spend an extra hour driving to and from the office. The staff were unwilling to accommodate this request.
I understand that they were under no obligation to do so, but I have rarely encountered such indifference and unwillingness to help. In my experience, hosts usually try to be flexible and either collect the keys themselves or arrange a convenient nearby drop-off location. Or put a safe locker box near the apartment, where people can collect/drop off the keys, like mostly everywhere else hosts do

- Cynthia (7/5): Perfect stay but for safety, provide keys for main entrance (through the garage) to the apartment. - Location was perfect, close to beach and The Pier mall (just a walk away). Very clean apartment, nice white clean sheets. They need to improve on the safety - keys to lock the apartment entrance through the garage. We were provided with keys, but didn't open one single door in the apartment.

So great convenience for shopping , dinner or pharmacy. The agent/ estate agent communicated in an impolite manner via message on Booking.com when asked about why the cleaning fee was not included in the overall surcharges paid to Booking.com.
This needed to be paid seperately and was inconvenient in terms of card payment.
Further - Jacuzzi bath was not working and power kept tripping for geyser.
WiFi signal intermittent over the unit.
Overall - not a bad experience but the customer service received from the agent/ agency will contribute to us not booking this particular unit again.

- Blake (10/5): Amazing value in a fantastic 3-bedroom apartment - Fantastic value in a great location by a shopping mall with restaurants, just 2 minute walk to the beach. The house was very cold but not much can be done about that I guess in the middle of winter!

There were ants everywhere including on the beds and walls, we found a mouse trap as well, the internet does not really reach the rooms especially the main bedroom. There were cleaning fees that we did not see when we booked since I’ve never heard of cleaning fees I didn’t think to look for it. They're usually included in the total amount. It seemed like a hidden fee, had we known or had we read it before making the booking we wouldn’t have booked this place since including the cleaning fee it was way out of our budget. Maybe the cleaning fees should be added to the total amount, and not excluded from what we see on bookings.com, or should be written in capital letters to inform us.

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, full equipped kitchen, garden level patio with small yard and a large 2nd story deck make family gatherings easy. Large dining table and kitchen island make mealtime easy. Decorated with taste, thus rental feels like home.
