Only thing for travelling wasn’t really any luggage room / only one luggage stand in the corner so although not a big deal was why it isn’t 10 - otherwise everything was very nice - small rooms

• Maxwell (8/5): A really fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated and well located. - The properly was fabulously located in the beautiful Saint Germain, on the south side of the river. It was absolutely perfect to come home to a more restful, refined atmosphere after a busy day touring the city. The room and bathroom were clean, contemporary and well appointed. I didn’t like that there was no obvious lounging area for hotel guests. The reception is very small and adjacent to the restaurant. There are some sofas but they are outside a bar in a hallway.

Dør til badeværelset, var en skydedør med glas. Var flot, men ikke praktisk at lyset og lyden kommer ind i rummet. + fitness er alt for moderne og mangler et simpel/normalt løbebånd.

• Simon (5/5): Great hotel in fantastic location let down by poor service and hidden charges - Superb location, lovely hotel Awful breakfast service, waiting ages for basics like spoons for cereal, glasses for water, and drinks. They appear very short staffed and some badly trained. Also, the paid “breakfast” is a set menu of a handful of things. Inevitably you want different things and have to pay extra, which felt like a real con - I have never experienced this with a hotel breakfast before. What a pity to spoil the experience by leaving this bad taste in the mouth - and not a good way to start your day with bad breakfast service and additional hidden charges

• Nora (5/5): Wunderbare Lage, aber viel zu teuer für das kleine Deluxe Zimmer u. das extrem knauserige Frühstück. - Beim Frühstück - kein Buffet (!) - war die Qualität von Tee, Kaffee, Gebäck etc. sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich, manches mal wirkte es aber etwas überfordert. Der Raum - eigentlich das Restaurant "Annette" - gemütlich, zum Glück gab es aber auch ein paar etwas größere runde Tische. Das Zimmer war als Deluxe Studio deklariert, es war aber sehr klein und hatte ein viel zu kleines Badezimmer mit einer viel zu kleinen Dusche. Dazu war es zu kalt, die Klimaanlage hat leider nicht funktioniert bzw. wurde der Heizbetrieb in den Zimmern vielleicht eingestellt. Alles in allem viel zu teuer für das, was angeboten wurde. Das Frühstück eigentlich unvorstellbar, wie wenig man ohne Aufpreis essen "durfte". Im Brotkörbchen für zwei Personen nur eine kleine Butter. Auf Nachfrage erhält man eine weitere Butter. Ein kleiner Teller Schinken für 10 Euro. Rührei umsonst, alle anderen Speisen mit Ei plus € 3 etc. etc. und dies für einen Zimmerpreis von etwas über € 700,00!!

The room could use more wardrobe space, but the overall vibe is wonderful, and there’s a nice bar on the ground floor. The service is very good. The staff are friendly and attentive, both at breakfast and at the bar!
• 145cassieh (10/5): Unbelievable stay! - We had an absolutely unbelievable experience at The Grand Hotel Cayré. A few notable mentions: - our room was ready at 9am for check in, we were so pleasantly surprised! - cleaning service was excellent. - decor and upkeep of rooms is impeccable. We were in the deluxe room with the pull out couch, and it was huge. Bathroom is small but beautiful and absolutely doable. - breakfast was quick, delicious, and the service was great despite it being busy. - the hotel always smelled amazing. - staff was always available to answer the phone when we needed an extra luggage cart, ice, wine glasses, etc. We spent a lot of time searching for the perfect hotel in Paris, probably 20 hours. We finally decided on the Grand Cayré and were so incredibly pleased. Don’t hesitate to book, and pay extra to upgrade, it’s worth it! Location is perfect, right by subway and bus stops, walkable to everything. We will never stay in a different hotel in Paris.

Le linge de maison sent très bon. Les équipements tels que sèche cheveux et mouchoirs n’ont pas été facile à trouver dans la chambre! Le savon et shampooing ne sente pas très bon, un peu décevant vu le luxe de l’hôtel. Le petite déjeuner au service prend du temps, plutôt qu’un riche buffet, et dans la formule simple , pas endorment de choix.

The hotel is new, and the quality of the renovation, beds, bedding, and housekeeping is very good. However, despite the time that has passed since opening, the operational side has not been properly established. Main Issues 1. Management and Staff    •   Extremely high staff turnover — almost every visit I see new faces.    •   The overall quality of staff and management is low.    •   The restaurant and reception operate slowly and inefficiently.    •   There are many employees present, yet service remains weak: orders can take up to 20 minutes, and staff often do not respond when addressed.    •   Instead of hiring experienced personnel and implementing efficient systems, the hotel relies on untrained staff. 2. Breakfast    •   Breakfast is very limited.    •   Apart from eggs, there is almost nothing available — not even basic options such as porridge. 3. Pricing    •   Prices for city-view rooms have increased significantly.    •   At the current level of service, they are no longer justified compared to nearby hotels. 4. Questionable Management Decisions    •   Most rooms do not have a minibar, despite having refrigerators.    •   Nevertheless, a deposit is required at check-in, allegedly to allow bar and restaurant charges to be posted to the room.    •   It appears that this deposit is more related to internal operational issues than to actual guest needs.    •   An excessive number of staff members gather in the restaurant, bar, and reception areas.    •   The second bar is sometimes used for meetings without being formally closed, creating confusion — it appears operational while not actually serving guests. ⸻ Conclusion I am willing to stay at this hotel at most one more time. If the service does not improve or the prices are not adjusted to reflect the current level of service, I will choose another hotel. There are many good alternatives in this part of Paris.

• Daydream647048 (10/5): Lovely experience! Such a beautiful boutique hotel. - Lovely experience! The hotel was located in a good area, close to many cafes and other places. It was my first time in Paris, so it was important that I stayed in a hotel in a safe area as a solo female traveller. It's very boutique, with a Parisian vibe, and the front desk people were very kind. They even gave me a complimentary upgrade. The room I had was on the 5th floor, and it was SO SPACIOUS! Considering most of the hotels, I read that in Paris, rooms are tiny. It had a couch, tv, and the bathroom was great too, with lovely shampoo. The view was of the building, so nothing to look at, but I didn't care to have an Effiel Tower view, I opened the windows on a rainy morning and it was so calming. I didn't realize it had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and when I went, the food was so good, bread & pastries to die for. I didn't have a chance to go to the speakeasy as it was open one day when I was there (keep in mind its closed Sun & Mon) or eat dinner/room service. Overall, had such a lovely stay. It was so quiet (even though reviews said it wasn't, since it's near the subway), and it was perfect for me. Will definitely be back!
