• Mònica (10/5): Un privilegi d'allotjament - Tot. Vistes espectaculars del llac. Bon camp base si tens cotxe, Varenna és a 10' per agafar ferry. Apartament molt bonic i ben cuidat, ampli i molt comfortable. Que no hi hagin cortines opaques en una de les habitacions, per dir alguna cosa.
• Melanie (9/5): Beautiful comfortable flat overlooking Lake Como but you need a car or a bike! - The flat is lovely and the beds are very comfortable. There's a big fridge/freezer and a coffee maker which was great for us. It was very cool and the spacious terrace had a wonderful view over the Lake and surrounding area. The only thing I would say is that it is a steep climb up from the village. It's actually in Lezzeno I think, not Bellano. I hadn't really appreciated (should have researched it more!) how far nor how steep and we didn't have a car. We also found that the buses only run very intermittently. I think there were only two in the afternoon and possibly the same in the morning. The taxis would have to be booked way in advance as well as I gather they mostly operate in the Como area so aren't necessarily local. We ended up having to carry our bags up the steep steps by the church until we gave up and waited for the bus to take us the rest of the way. We then found a more direct route up and down which was on the old cobbled paths. The quickest we did it was 22 minutes from the lakefront so if you're fit, the walk is fine, but not with luggage. I would say you need a car or bicycles (book in advance). Also, it would be great if the flat front door had a number on it so travellers know which door it is and that the keys are clearly marked as to which locks they go in to. There were four keys and we had to just use trial and error. When I called the office they were very helpful and spoke good English though so thank you.
• Violette (10/5): Très beau séjour à Bellano - Le studio était propre, agréable. Un peu à l'écart de la ville, donc très calme. La vue sur le lac était vraiment incroyable. Les explications pour récupérer les clefs et se rendre au studio étaient très claires. Et les propriétaires sympathiques dans leurs réponses aux questions. A savoir : nécessité de prendre la voiture pour descendre en ville/au port.
