Guest Reviews
- Will (5/5): - The bar lady was lovely, the owner was lovely, the pub was nice. The locals were lovely, the local area was lovely, the kebab shop owner next door was lovely. It wasn't very clean, the breakfast included was cereal and toast that you help yourself to, there wasn't any shower gel, there was someone's clothes in the dresser and for £85 it felt quite bad value for money TBH. I feel bad saying this as the owner and the staff were really friendly and happy, but it felt a bit too much like a hostel for bnb money.
- Daniel (7/5): - Friendly staff. Rooms. Breakfast Noise.
- Violation (10/5): - Fantastic facilities, comfy beds and clean bathrooms.
- Jo (10/5): Home from home - Excellent location clean and friendly staff Location and very clean
- Gareth (7/5): Staff & people very friendly. Steve the owner was very helpful & welcoming - Convenient for BikePark wales No washing up facilities
- RICHARD (10/5): -
- Georgia (9/5): Quirky little place. - The separate sitting/kitchenette area. Need to be aware it is above a pub so there will be some noise at closing time however this does not have to be a big deal.
- Philippe (7/5): -
- SARAH (2/5): -
- FloHilton89 (10/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): Brilliant - Perfect for what we wanted, close to Bike Park Wales, clean and tidy and access to the most friendly of pubs below
- Michael (6/5): -
- Ludwick (9/5): -
- Enid (10/5): - I liked that it was clean and well equipped, and the staff were friendly. They are pet friendly and it was well located for what we needed. Parking was easy to come by nearby. It was a bit difficult to see if the bar is open from the outside, however we were warmly greeted and everyone was super friendly once inside.
- Gerrit rudolf (10/5): -

Very friendly staff and lovely welcome in the pub with a great live singer lots of dancing and singing
Accommodated a later checkout
Excellent value free for dogs
We will be back! A bit of noise but expected from a pub location and main road

- Future Group (10/5): Great nights sleep - A very warm welcome !
I was checking In slightly early and they met me at the property specifically to accommodate showed me round and left me to it
- Dawn (8/5): Good clean facilities, rooms above pub bar. - The pub had a singer on the night we stayed ( the singer and songs were great) this meant it did not become quite until after 12am. The road was also busy throughout the night. Breakfast was help yourself in a nice clean kitchen dinning area. Unfortunately no parking except on the road, which was busy most of the night.

- Adam (8/5): bike park Wales stop over - it may look a little scrappy from the outside, but different inside. very modern and the team were welcoming. the shared apartment bit made it easy to have and prepare the breakfast provided. who busy the road was outside the window. it was warm so we needed it open. to say it is a little village it has a lot of passing traffic. there was also meant to be secure bike storage, which turns out to be one of the other rooms (3 rooms in total) however as the were fully booked they said we could leave them in the bar. nothing happened to the bikes, but not sold as seen.
- Taneika (10/5): Great value for money and ideal if travelling with a pet - The property was homely, clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ideal for staying with a pet. I would definitely stay again

- Grant (7/5): People made it great very welcoming - Room and facilities very neat and newly refurbished. Staff downstairs in the pub really friendly. Breakfast was cereals and yogurt. Not renewed after first day so had half a glass of juice the second morning. Felt very hostel like. Beds very uncomfortable.
- Rosemarie (9/5): Superb - The owner, staff & locals were friendly & welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The communal area was lovely, unfortunately we didn't use it as we were visiting family in the area. Would use it again. The lack of parking was a minus but we found a piece of waste ground a couple of minutes walk away behind the school just up the road which was fine. Bedside lights would be a good addition.
- Glenn (10/5): The owner and staff were so friendly, they couldn’t do enough to help us. They let us leave ours bikes locked up and sec - The rooms were lovely, clean comfortable and well equipped.
- Charlie (9/5): Superb -
- Kelvin (10/5): Exceptional - Nice an comfortable layout perfect for a group of friends Nothing
- Fables (9/5): The perfect space for two weary cyclists. Such a warm welcome - We received the warmest of welcomes. Nothing was too much trouble. Space was found inside the pub for our bikes and gear. The upstairs space is fantastic, with a well-equipped lounge and kitchen space in addition to the comfy bedroom.
- N (5/5): Passable - Nice rooms with private bathroom. We booked all 3 rooms and could also use the living room with kitchen Towels had disgusting smoke smell. Living room and kitchen were not private. Other people were walking in and out. Noise of the pub below. No good area to park the car. No place to sit outside
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -

- Sophie (10/5): Was a great safe happy friendly place would go back again - Such a lovely place to stay everyone was so lovely and everything was so close by Nothing I didn’t like
- Rich (1/5): Overpriced & unclean - No parking at the pub, smoking inside the bar & a used /unflushed toilet were enough to discourage us from staying.
As we had checked in they refused to refund our nights stay despite leaving shortly after… very disappointed.
