Guest Reviews
- Thomas (9/5): - Absolutely as advertised, very cute, peaceful in the morning. We are used to campgrounds, but it is still a little jarring to have the bathroom at such a distance, and the noise of the neighbors and their dogs so close.
- Tori (10/5): Beautiful caravan, very clean facilities, very helpful host, would definitely stay again ๐ - The caravan was absolutely beautiful and the shower & toilet facilities were very clean!
- Laurel (8/5): COMFY CARAVAN - The cutest, most comfy accommodation ! Off the beaten track - just what we needed for a bit of a break from our busy travels. The shared bathroom shower was the best we've experienced since arriving in the UK - bliss!Handy to the pub up the road too. Just bring charcoal for the bbq. Nothing to report. Would like to suggest adding a pair of scissors and 2 wine glasses to the kit.
- Dave (9/5): Lovely venue, well equipped. The perfect place to stay. Thank you. - Clean tidy and comfortable. If Iโd had a tow hitch I would have taken it home it was brilliant, perfect for what we wanted.
- Anna-maria (10/5): Lovely stay! - Very clean, cute small caravan! It has everything you need, excellent use of the space! Barbecue is also very nice and has everything you need except for charcoal. Very clean area overall, bathroom facilities are spot on as well! Strongly recommend a stay at Molly, itโs a great experience! Nothing.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lizlaw69 (9/5): Quirky and fun. - We arrived and my partner, Chris, rolled his eyes at a small pink caravan. However, even he was most impressed with the refurb on the inside. I loved the fact there was even a dog bowl if you want to take a little dog with you. It was the most quirky place we stayed this weekend and probably our favourite. Shower and toilet close to the caravan. Immaculate inside and out. Did feel a bit like we were in the car park but Molly had a lovely little table and chairs and small garden at the back that you could look at. The outlook was mainly the car park but if you face the little walled garden at the back of the caravan it really doesn't matter.
- Claire (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Lovely little caravan. Nothing I didnโt like.
- Marie (10/5): Amazing stay for me n 2 Frenchies. - Back to old school, no frills a real break from a crazy world. Sooo comfortable and a good base camp for days out. Lovely little area outside which I enjoyed on my first day there. X The weather! lol, picked the wettest day ever!
.. nothing! it was ace x
- Melanie (9/5): Tiny caravan - Quiet location, cute, very small caravan well supplied with everything you might need!
Excellent weather too ,which meant we could breakfast outside. Nothing really, the shower was a bit slow to empty...think the drain may have needed unblocking
Might get a bit cramped if the weather was bad!
- Claire (9/5): Quirky - Charming- Great for a short stay - Slept really well - itโs small but perfect ๐ -
- Deborah (10/5): Would highly recommend, excellent ๐ - Excellent little caravan, all amenities you need, had a lovely weekend ๐ Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Homely, peaceful and tranquil. - When we came in the place was clean and tidy. The site was amazing toilets was in walking distance. The van made me feel at home and it was so peaceful. N/A
- Samantha (9/5): Sweet little caravan with everything you need for a short stay. - We loved staying in Molly the Vintage Caravan. We used her so that we could walk up some of the Wainwright hills, so she was perfect for our stay. Very quiet little village, so if quiet is what you want then that's what you get. We would stay again for the same purpose. Obviously, because she is small, you wouldn't spend a lot of time in her. ๐ฅฐ The bed was a little hard, but that's personal preference. The other caravans were very close, but it wasn't a problem for us.
- Tracy (10/5): Marvelous Molly - Molly was a delight to stay in. She was immaculate, comfy bed, very tastefully decorated, and I felt safe as a solo traveller and had everything I needed. The sunsets were also amazing. Friendly neighbours dog Dolly joined me for dinner. Quiet peaceful, just what I needed. Was able to make a lovely BBQ. Thank you The only thing I would recommend would be a couple of coat hooks on the right, by the door, as was space there. It rained a whole day and was nowhere to hang my wet poncho or towel after a shower
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Good location bar one minute away beach ten minutes away all the hills of lakes on over side
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Vintage caravan with a modicum of modern.Everything is spotless. Perfect location if you like the quiet side of life, 20 mins away from Lake Bassenthwaite. Stunning countryside at the top end of the Lakes..
