Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): Well worth it. - Great location, very tidy and comfortable. Heat pump kept it warm. Everything we needed to cook was available. A couple of extra blankets available would have been handy.
- Lisa (10/5): Great stay! - GReat little house. Access to property was easy and host were communicative! House was warm and cosy and had all the requirements for a home away from home! Thanks heaps
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Latu (10/5): Overall, my family and I absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was a ‘home away from home’ - I loved the location of the house. Close to everything we needed for the weekend! My aunt’s absolutely adored the house. Very very comfy, welcoming and so homey to stay in for the weekend!
Rooms were so spacious and enough storage spaces provided. Extra blankets and pillows were provided which was so nice as it did get a bit cold in the evenings. My aunt’s would use the blankets to have little yarns in the living room with.
Kitchen was amazing! Everything from condiments to rubbish bags and cleaning products was available and we saw there was very little to get for ourselves.
Bathroom was amazing! Toiletries provided and very very clean.
Back yard was spacious, suitable for any big activities but since we were only there for the weekend we didn’t get to use the back yard.
List of instructions / house rules were super limited and understandable! Very clear and direct with what was to expected of the house but not too direct to the point where you feel like you couldn’t do anything! Nothing, loved our experience!
- Trisha (8/5): I highly recommend the presentation of the premises, parking and the facilities. The area was quiet. -
- Robinson (10/5): Could have stayed forever - What can I say it felt like home away from home. Everything was perfect. The bed was comfy it was quiet even though you are close to the main road there was no traffic noise. Perfect if you are wanting some time away from the kids and other half
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (10/5): Fabulous, comfortable, clean and easy. Had everything we needed - Clean, comfortable, close to town.
- Pania (6/5): Pleasant. House was tidy, shower was great. - Location for what we required. No splash back or rangehood on the stove. Placement and functionality of kitchen. Minimal kitchen utensils, ie; had to go and buy a grater and potato masher for prep of our dinner.
- Tony (10/5): Very nice place, hosts very accommodating. - Everything
- Gerard (9/5): A superb place for a group in Taumarunui - A beautifully restored bungalow, great kitchen and all the little things that most rental houses don’t have, like olive oil and washing powder for the washing machine. The Booking.com listing doesn’t mention wifi but it’s got it. Less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket. The immediately surrounding area is pretty run down. But it’s 2 minutes walk to the RSA.
- Esteban (8/5): Nice stay - The location of the house is really good, the facilities are very comfy and the heater works amazing in the living area. The place is surprisingly big and is cozy and comfy. I'll definitely be back Would be nice to add bigger pots to cook, a strainer, and some furnishings to put your bags in one of the rooms.
- Erena (10/5): Exceptional - HUGE appreciation for the spotless and welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful home. The shower was a HUGE BLESSING plus 2 toilets & the kitchen area was spacious with everything we needed. The beds, pillows and linen was so comfortable THANKFUL & VERY GRATEFUL. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME.
