I would have liked the pass code sent before we arrived. The location required taxis into cbd and to airport which I didn't realise.

• Claire (9/5): Fantastic stay in Blenheim - New, very clean and tidy accommodation. Suited our family perfectly for an overnight stay following a ferry crossing. Well equipped in general, internet worked well. It was a little awkward with the bathroom and kitchen sink doubling as one but was manageable for a short stay.

We loved the little touches, like a little bit of Christmas decorations and the toys for the kids. Thank you 😊 Communication could have been better. We were unable to enter the property as we were only given the key code, not the code for the gate, which was shut. Left as we had grizzly kids and no phone number and no reaction to my message. Managed to get hold of them through the help function on booking.com shortly after, so we could go back and enter the property.

• Jamie (10/5): Consider here for your next stay! - My partner was very impressed with the overall quality of this accomodation. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing to consider when staying, is if you are towing a large trailer, you will need to find a different locale for parking. Our situation was unique however and most staying, will have just the one vehicle which the parking area accommodates well.

• Rachael (9/5): Fantastic place to stay and would highly recommend The Cedar Inn! - Great location for us and very well set up for either two singles or two couples. Aimee was very helpful when we needed assistance and even gave us complementary ice creams! Dishes had to be washed in the bathroom which was actually fine as very close. We mustn’t have had the outside step safety lights on so my sister did have a trip one night when we were coming back to the accommodation.
• Delaney (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. - Nice quiet location, felt very secure. Comfortable lounge, good tv channels. Very nice bathroom and attractive, comfortable bedrooms. Nice new apartment, super clean and airy. While there was electric frypan and ability to heat food, there was no hotplate or sink, and washing up is done in the bathroom. Fine for a night or two, but longer term that might be difficult.
• Richard Zeltwanger (9/5): Sehr schönes neues Appartement - Super Schönes neues, sehr schön eingerichtetes Appartement. Der Eigentümer wohnt direkt nebenan. Zufahrt zum Appartement ist eng, so dass die Einfahrt oder Ausfahrt mit dem PKW rückwärts erfolgen muss. Es ist von Vorteil, wenn man keinen breiten SUV fährt. Es wäre 100%, wenn es zur Waschmaschine noch einen Trockner gäbe. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist zunächst etwas seltsam. Es hat auf den sehr guten Gesamteindruck aber keinen großen Einfluss. Ich würde das Appartement sofort wieder buchen.

Availability of washing machine also a plus. Building approvals apparently caused a hiccup and didn't allow a sink to be put in the kitchen area! A bit of a nuisance but we managed. Kitchen area very nice otherwise with plenty of space and a nice big fridge.

• Jason (8/5): Tidy Unit - nice tidy unit. very well maintained. not far from city centre bed was not comfy and hard as a rock. no kitchen sink and had to use sink in the bathroom for dishes. The driveway was a bit of a problem aswell being so narrow. Could see where previous people had drove into the fence as there isn't much room to get to the unit.

When travelling we want a property to be clean, warm, comfortable and quiet, the Cedar Inn did all of this and got bonus points because the shower was also amazing! We all agreed we had the best sleep and left feeling fantastic, it was a brilliant place to re-charge. This was the third accommodation we stayed in at Blenheim, and easily the best. Thanks Aimee and Ray for such a pleasant experience, we would definitely stay again. Other people may struggle with the narrow driveway but it wasn’t an issue for us. The couches are quite narrow but I’m really nitpicking here (and it’s only because our child claimed an entire couch to himself!). And yes you do the dishes in the sink in the bathroom, it’s really not that big of a deal, we managed just fine.

Modern, warm and comfortable, great shower and comfy beds. Only one sink in the bathroom, and tight driveway. But they have done so well with the space and it feels private from their property.

Very spacious inside To reach the unit, it is necessary to drive down and extremely tight alleyway to the side of the house. My wife had to get out of the car to help direct me, and it was still touch and go! There were closets in the bedroom but they were locked. Also, there was no sink in the kitchen area—washing dishes, etc. must take place in the bathroom, an unusual set up

Would be much better to have a Cook top, but particularly a sink in the kitchenette rather than in the bathroom. Made it a bit difficult at times.

• Murray (9/5): It was comfortable, clean and had all that we needed for an enjoyable stay. - The property was clean and spacious with all the facilities that we needed for a one night stay. Having a big screen Smart TV was a bonus! The kitchen was well stocked with a good supply of appliances. There is only one sink in the property. It's located in the bathroom which meant that we had to wash our dishes and clean our teeth in the same sink. It's not too bad, but it's also where we used the toilet.
