• Wilson (3/5): Good location and amenities, but the stench in Room number 2 and the dirty carpet spoilt it. - Location was very good, the actual amenities in the house were good, good kitchen and common living space Good communication with host to help get there Despite the bed being clean, the carpet was filthy and had not been vacuumed - there was a chunk of hair right in the middle of the carpet when I arrived. Worst of all, the room stunk - strongly - presumable of body odour from the last client as there were no windows you could open in the room I had. I couldn't get rid of the smell all night. I know it was a bargain price, but a quick hoover and aerating the room would have not taken that long to do.

• Angela (5/5): Bed for night. - Room with beds for 3 adults. Convenient for shops on main road. Good price for area. Wasn't clear that it was a shared apartment with other occupants sharing the kitchen and lounge area. We had en suite bathroom but the toilet leaked there was an empty soap container on the sink. No kettle in room. There was two in the kitchen but only a couple of mugs available. Floor felt rotten and moved when stepped on in the hallway.

• Richard (8/5): Good value for money and could use communal kitchen. - The accommodation met our needs well, it was a good size family room and good value for money. The manager Emery was extremely friendly and helpful and had kindly bought some fruit for breakfast and bread (although breakfast was included in the price). It was good to have use of the kitchen and the facilities were good. There was no view outside, however this didn't bother us as it was only 1 night for a lengthy stay this might have been off-putting. Not right in the centre, but convenient and near lots of shops and cafes. It would have been good to have a kettle and tea/ coffee facilities in the room. The carpet could have been cleaner. Otherwise was a great stay

We were leaving first thing in the morning for an early train so just needed a bed for the night. Great value for money. Room and bathroom were clean. Noise was minimal. Easy access instructions and messages prior to arrival. Room had a fan which was needed during the heatwave. The location was a bit further a walk from King’s Cross than I expected it to be. It’s actually close to Caledonian Road station. The double bed is butted up to the wall on one side but again not a massive problem for a couple of just one night.

• Jones (7/5): Pleasant, no frills place to crash. - Easy access, clean, comfortable room, good location. I was late back after an event, so really pleased with how easy it was to get to my room and crash. A pleasant, no frills stay. The lock on the shared bathroom was a little stiff, so I got slightly worried I might get stuck. Otherwise it was a pleasant and simple place to stay.

• Dan (10/5): Exceptional - Property was spotless. Really great price. A ten minute walk from Caledonian Road tube station. Easy to find. Property was warm and cosy. The caretaker Emery was fantastic, helpful and friendly. Communication was great all the time in the lead up and during the stay. Shower was hot and ran lovely. I can't fault this place, will stay here again for sure. As others have mentioned the shower leaks a little when you use it. There is a mop provided to just dry the floor up when you're done. Other than that there isn't anything I can complain about.

Bed and the pillows are not comfortable. Place could be a bit cleaner, thin walls between the rooms. Bathroom door hard to open.

• Olga (7/5): Good - Room in a good place, bus stops are on the corner and you can get there in any direction. Many shops around, quiet at night. In the kitchen there is sugar, tea, coffee, everything you need. There is also a toaster and a kettle. In the bathroom all the necessary things like a hair dryer and towels. The heating was cold and indeed the bathroom was wet but it only was there for one day. You can't expect miracles for such a price, because it is known that this is a low-budget place. Our mirror was broken. For such a price I really recommend it, if you come just to fall asleep and go to the city in the morning :))

I contacted the host, but they never replied. To make things worse, the toilet leaked overnight, leaving the bathroom completely flooded. Wouldn’t recommend.

• Hany (1/5): Very Disappointing - The Wifi The room was freezing cold. I contacted the property asking for a heater fan, but did not get any response. One wall was a glass door covered by air matresses as shown in the pictures. So the room was full of light day and night. I could hear everything coming from the streets including people talking. People outside the room could turn on or off my room lights, very annoying during night when my room lights were turned on by someone outside my room.

Floor by toilet had a puddle in front of it when we arrived but this looked like water from cleaning. Very noisy person in the room next to us used shared facilities at 12am very loudly but not the fault of property owners.
