Guest Reviews
- Black (10/5): - Callum was extremely helpful throughout the process answering any questions we had and gave us some great recommendations.
The house is a very calming clean and aesthetic space perfect for working from home and also unwinding with a lovely outdoor area. It felt like a luxury home from home for us.
The kitchen was perfect for staying in and cooking with all the necessary utensils and even a great range of spices which is such a nice touch!
The area itself was perfect as it’s a super peaceful residential area only walking distance from lovely pubs and restaurants.
Thanks so much Callum, we will be back!
- Janet (5/5): Cute place, great beds and good location for us - Beds were very comfortable and the location for us was superb I was lost as to how things worked. Normally there’d be a book of some type with instructions on how to use appliances, where to find things in the house and even neighborhood amenities. Perhaps there is an assumption of knowledge, but believe me, things here are quite differentAs a rule, I don’t “snoop” through cabinets and closets, so perhaps that’s my error. But, below are a few things I found to be difficult or poorly done:
1. The oven was filthy. There was no way I was going to use it.
2. There was trash in the trash bins when we got there and the freezer was so full there was no room for any food we might desire to buy. Were we supposed to use that food?
3. We had no idea what to do with our trash. Where to put it or what was suitable as recyclable. (That does vary from place to place.)
4. The sink issue was difficult to deal with. Drawing water to wash our hands was difficult and even brushing our teeth was difficult.
5. The leak in the windowsill in the shower was a mess. Water leaked downstairs and it was a clean up every time we took a shower.
6. I had no idea how to turn on or off the cooktop. In fact, one day I turned it on by accident and panicked as to how to get if off again. It did go off, but honestly I had no idea how I did it.
7. The washer was much the same. I figured out how to do a load of laundry, but didn’t find the drying rack until a couple of days later when I realized that there was a closet behind the door.
8. The dead plant in the living area was not pleasing, as you might imagine.
9. The TV was difficult to figure out. The Netflix was logged in on someone’s account and we weren’t sure if we should be using it or not.
10. The mail slot was jammed full of mail.
11. I’m 5’3” tall. I couldn’t reach the microwave at all.
12. I couldn’t find but one dish towel. I laid it underneath the dish drainer so as not to ruin the wooden counter
