- Arvind (1/5): Extremely bad property and wrongful charges for already broken and damaged property - Save yourself from this run down property.
This was an extremely run down and shoddy property with absolutely zero value for money and a terrible host.
The property images and description is not real. The mentioned sq ft of over 1000 is actually just 400 sq ft. Instead of claimed 2 bathrooms, there are only 1.5 bathrokm. The second room is in a extremely tiny garage. The kitchen is a part of the living room with no dining area.
The property was already broken for which the host has charged us 150 pounds without informing us.
We had informed the host about damages in advance and still we were charged.
After seeing more reviews online we come to know that most damages were already there and the host has been charging previous customers as well.
The main door lock could not be opened or closed without a mimimum 10 minute fingure nerving expediyion each time. On informing the host about a very difficult lock, the host instead blamed us on not knowing how to ope
n the locks.
Please do not stay here and be cheated by this host.. Everything about this property is not worth staying here..
- Samantha (3/5): A very disappointing stay and experience of robindoor the management agency! - Location is perfect, just up from Earls court station and plenty of shops and restaurants near by! Firstly the advertised picture is not of this property, there were a number of issues that Robin door communicated to the property manager however very unacceptable for our 3 day stay.
The TV wasn’t working, they did get Netflix to work but not television. The bracket on stair case for rail was popping out the wall and we had a 3 year old.
The gold table in upstairs living area. One leg was broken and on closer inspection so was the corner of glass, and lastly we complained of black mould and was told it was a cleaning issue however the clean could not remove and was unsatisfactory!
The towel rail in upper bathroom did not work as well.
There are a number of safety and health issues that require properly being fixed before this is suitable for families!
- Pacita (1/5): Awful! This property has potential to improve but it should come first with how it should be managed and how to deal wit - Location The property is dirty, molds both bathrooms. Center table wiggling with tape on along edges. Upon entering the house, we immediately noticed the smell of cigarette smokes. Imagine, they have their policy that says “ no smoking otherwise there’s a £200.00 fine.
We’ve waited for an hour for the key to be handed to us. They forgot to place the key back inside the key box.The most upsetting was after giving and completing all requirements asked such as Copies of IDs, Security Deposit of £200.00 and signing of requirements, they were still asking for the 4th person’s ID which I don’t have at that time because she will be coming from Portsmouth.
This is the first time that I was asked for IDs and security deposit. I would understand if this is a hotel but it’s not, not even a comfortable place to stay at. I’ve been a regular customer of booking.com and never had this kind of experience.
Had I known this from the beginning, I will never book this place. The property even mentioned of £30.00 credit due to their failure to accommodate us right away, but they didn’t pay us. But that’s fine cause the damage has been done and it’s not even worth the stress they caused my family. Just emphasizing how this property management works.
- Andrew (3/5): Nice location. Dirty apartment with terrible TV connection. Rock hard bed. - Nice area Television kept buffering and going off all evening, internet also. Was told it was because of the wind but hardly a breeze that evening. Man did come the next morning and sorted it but again that evening was the same. Must say this man was very helpful and tried his best, it wasn’t his fault they need to install a better TV connection. Dirty rug in living room was thread bare in places. Two drill bits where under the rug also, so obviously not cleaned floors.White stains on settee.Couldn’t find any cups for tea in morning, but found these on day of departing in dish washer. Upstairs bed rock hard mattress, woke up to a back in bits. Found someone else’s dirty, dusty sock under the bed. The final straw was to be charged £8.50 for things out of the mini bar which wasn’t even plugged in and didn’t have the Items in there that we were charged for anyway. Was offered a part discount if we stay there again because of the tv but will pass thank you. My children where extremely board the two evenings we stayed because of no tv. If we had known we would of brought some board games to keep them entertained.
