• Mrakovic (10/5): - We had a wonderful couple of days at Montemare! The hosts are very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The property is very well maintained and clean. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with many tasty choices, both sweet and savoury. The restaurant is also a great option — delicious homemade-style food with generous portions. The view is definitely the highlight: the open pool overlooking the beautiful Agrigento landscape, with the sea in the background, creates such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. One small tip for arrival: the path to the property is well marked, so it is better to follow the signs rather than Google Maps. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it!

• SpringsTravel (8/5): Hotel in den Bergen mit Pool - Ruhig gelegenes Hotel in den Bergen mit Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück und auch fürs Abendessen eine Empfehlung. Die Anfahrt zur Ortschaft über Nebenstraßen ist teilweise sehr abenteuerlich.

Llegamos cuando el restaurante aún no había abierto y gentilmente nos prepararon unos paninos riquísimos. El desayuno exquisito y súper completo con unas vistas hermosas Nada! Nos encantó todo...por decir algo, mejoraria la iluminación de la habitación.

• Nancy (9/5): Het uitzicht is fenomenaal - Het uitzicht was fenomenaal. Het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid naar Italiaanse normen. Het restaurant serveert super lekker eten aan een democratische prijs. Wij hadden ook een tafeltje buiten met mooi uitzicht. Ook het zwembad is mooi onderhouden met voldoende ligstoelen en er is een overdekte schaduwplaats. Het interieur is wat ouderwets maar alles war je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Ook goede wifi. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Wat moeilijk te vinden op een heuvel in een klein dorp. De voortuin is wat verwaarloosd en dat geeft een negatieve eerste indruk …maar de rest maakt alles goed. Ook de decoratie en inrichting oogt wat oudbollig maar alles is zeer netjes.

Poi nota di merito anche il ristorante/pizzeria. Davvero ottimo La struttura ha grandi potenzialità ma occorrono degli interventi di ristrutturazione delle camere, della piscina che non era ahimè molto pulita e dell'arredamento spazio esterno.

Le dîner pris sur place était excellent et à prix très correct. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter ! Le volet de la salle de bain ne pouvait pas être fermé complètement, et il y avait beaucoup de vent - du coup cela faisait un bruit répété insupportable. Il n'y avait pas suffisamment de supports dans la salle de bain. Il y a quelques marches avec la grosse valise malgré la présence d'un ascenseur

Super friendly team, great pool and sun deck and the views of the mountain and sea were so beautiful. • Muriel (8/5): La vue vaut le détour. - Une vue magnifique sur Agrigente et la cote alentour. Une grande chambre avec un balcon assez grand pour tenir à 4 autour d'une table avec vue sur la mer. L'hôtel dispose d'un restaurant et de tables sur lesquelles pique niquer. Grande piscine avec de nombreux transats. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et arrangeants. L'accès un peu difficile (rues étroites et en pente) Piscine un peu fraiche en mai.

• Maike (7/5): Prijs kwaliteit ok, bergweg af te raden - Prijstechnisch een prima keuze: kamer met uitzicht, parkeergelegenheid en restaurant/ ontbijt. Kamer was schoon, maar ouderwets. Fijn dat er een restaurant in het hotel zat, want je bevindt je echt in een bergdorp dat bij aankomst in de regen in ieder geval voelde als een spookstad. Genoten van echt heerlijke pizza’s, prima geprijsd. Vriendelijk personeel: dochter twijfelde over een nagerecht en kreeg vanuit de keuken gewoon een lepeltje even te proeven, haha! Zo lief! Parkeren was geen probleem. Wij verbleven 1 nachtje op onze doorreis van west naar oost. Half uurtje van tempelvallei en Torchi. De weg ernaartoe vond ik vreselijk. Kies echt voor de SP2!!! Ik had het fijn gevonden als de accommodatie dit vooraf duidelijk had laten weten. We hadden nu de pech in de bewolking en regen aan te komen en moesten over smalle slecht onderhouden bergweggetjes met kans op tegenliggers naar boven rijden. Ochtend erna gelukkig wel opengetrokken wat zorgde voor een mooi uitzicht. In het restaurant werden we als gezin geplaatst naast een kinderfeestje met 20 jongens van 11…. Zeer luidruchtig. We hebben gevraagd om een ander plekje en konden toen gelukkig in de andere restaurantzaal terecht. Kamer, en dan met name de badkamer, is oudbollig. Zeker de badkamer kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken ( vieze doucherandjes ). Voor 1 nacht ok.

B&B Montemare rewarded us with breathtaking views, spotless rooms, and a great pool. The hosts were very kind and the food was fantastic – from the delicious dinner in their restaurant to the generous homemade breakfast. Highly recommended, just don't let the search discourage you – the destination is worth the effort

Fijne locatie op 20 minuten van meerdere stranden, van de vallei der tempels, van de scala, van Agrigento. Bijzonder mooi uitzicht omwille van de ligging tegen de bergen.
