Guest Reviews
- Fagan (8/5): Very clean lodge in an excellent location for visiting places - It was in a lovely location The WiFi signal was poor so we weren’t able to access some of the channels on the Smart tv.
- Nicky (8/5): Superb little place for a few days at good value for money. - The property was lovely. Big enough for a few days, very well equipped and very clean with a lovely comfy bed and good facilities. The WiFi was not great and as a result the smart tv didn’t really work.
- Mercedes (10/5): - Alojamiento fantástico en una ubicación excelente. Muy amplio y con todas las comodidades.
- Jackie (10/5): Quick trip to Cornwall - Lovely spacious, well appointed lodge. Quiet location but within easy reach of Praa Sands, Marazion & Penzance.
We only stayed 2 nights for a party but would make an excellent base to explore the area. Nothing, all good
- Rachael (10/5): Amazing Lodge - We loved how quiet the location was and how clean it was. We had a long drive from teeside and was greeted with fresh milk, orange, and wine which was perfect for our evening. There was nothing we didnt like it was perfect and we would definitely stay here again to do more exploring
- William (10/5): Very comfortable and made our stay. - The accommodation was larger than the photo suggested and was fitted out to a high standard. Very helpful and friendly owners. Nothing.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joel (10/5): Gorgeous little lodge, very comfortable and clean in great location to explore West Cornwall - Absolutely perfect little cabin for a weekend away!
Immaculately clean throughout, totally pristine. Amazing shower! A few older reviews suggested that the property didn’t have Wi-Fi, but it did. Admittedly we didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked to be well appointed. Instead we visited the nearest pub for food (would recommend, close walking distance) and grabbed fish and chips in st Ives (would also recommend!) The lodge had everything we needed, including milk, juice and wine, and we found it very cute and comfortable.
Easy access to the A30 and thus the rest of Cornwall. Particularly close to st Michaels Mount, which was a lovely trip, took about 30 mins to get to st Ives, and we ventured over to Lands end via Porthcurno and the Minack theatre, which was about 40 mins and really well worth a visit. (Photos: St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Minack Theatre and Porthcurno)
Designated parking space, host met us on arrival to give keys and ensure we were set up; was a lovely stay. Highly recommend, nothing to fault.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claus (9/5): Cosy tiny house - Nice tiny house with clever inside layout. Cosy. We were very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. We also appreciated sitting outside on the terrace for dinner. Everything was fine.
- Mr&mrs (10/5): Nice cosy easy to find place - Beforehand we contacted property as we noticed in some reviews that people had some welcome goodies on arrival, we are gluten and dairy free so asked not to prepare anything but Michelle kindly got us almond milk and wine… superb. Property nice and clean, hot water on instant. Large TV with prime as well so we used it in the evenings a bit. COOP only 2 minutes drive as well was a bonus as we cook ourselves all the time
- Lynne (9/5): Modern and comfortable - Comfortable, modern, quiet cabin. Nice private outside decking perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The shower and hot water was particularly good! Pub serving traditional pub grub within easy walking distance. Great location for exploring West Cornwall.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Very well appointed. Very clean. Just a short walk to the pub. Easy access to the South West Coast Path. Would recommend.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosie (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Gabrielle (10/5): Perfect stay - We loved Laitys Lodge, the cabin and location was perfect for us, quick and easy to get around, we loved that we could walk to the pub up the road and the cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Nothing
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Great cabin, hosts and location
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect! - Very cosy and tucked away. Was very clean. Owners, Michelle & Ian were lovely and popped over to introduce themselves. Lovely touch leaving milk, tea, OJ, coffee and wine on arrival. Also towels, tea towels etc provided. Also very roomy & a shower I wished I could bring home!! I stayed with my daughter rather than as a ‘couple’ and the only small thing I didn’t like was the door to the bathroom. I feel a fully frosted door would be more private. However, did not detract from the loveliness of the accommodation and the bedroom door can be closed for privacy.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Really clean and modern.
Shower was excellent.
Peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. Loved it all.
- Louis (10/5): Cosy, well situated lodge to explore Cornwall. - Felt like we were the first people to ever stay it was so clean and modern. Very cosy atmosphere inside- blankets and leather sofa, bed was great because we walked a lot and needed our sleep which was no problem at all. Shower was brilliant too- hot and good pressure! Great base camp for our trip. Milk and OJ in fridge which is a lovely touch. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
We walked to Praa Sands via the main road twice and it’s a beautiful beach with a bar/ restaurant right on the sand. Nothing - all good.
- Lucy (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful little lodge, lovely and quiet, very clean, everything you need provided such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, kitchen appliances and was greeted with scones with jam and clotted cream. Host was lovely, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Lots of beautiful walks around and not too far away from town centres. WiFi would be great there as phone signal isn't great

- Simon (10/5): Exceptional standards. - We couldn't fault the lodge. Michelle met us on arrival. We forgot our plug for our phone charger and Michelle lent us one. There was milk, orange juice and prosecco in the fridge which was a very nice touch. It was spotless and the facilities were amazing. Everything you would need was there. Michelle and Ian, you have an exceptional lodge, business and should be extremely proud of yourselves. We will most definitely be back.
