Guest Reviews
- Meaton (7/5): Very pretty house with plenty of character, beds were very comfortable and thankyou for the snacks! - Vases of flowers affected my daughter in law quite significantly although they were beautiful but perhaps one or two would have suited our party better. Location was further out from Chichester than we had anticipated and of course weather so bad on the Saturday unfortunately.
- Melanie (9/5): Lovely house. - The house was lovely decorated with very comfy beds. Great location for visiting Goodwood.
- Susan (7/5): Comfortable house in excellent location for exploring city centre - The location was excellent for walking into the city centre, a pleasant 20 minute walk along the canal path. Compared to the much more expensive properties in the city centre it was a reasonable price. The house was comfortable and just big enough of a party of four adults. Generous welcome pack. The bathroom door needs attention as it squeaks loudly which meant anyone using the loo in the night woke everyone up. The frying pan and wok need replacing as they were badly burned. We were a bit disconcerted with the amount of open packets of food left in the cupboards, fridge and freezer. It meant there wasn't an empty cupboard to put our own food in.

- Rashmi (10/5): Excellent property in an excellent location - Beautiful decor and very comfortable, homely feeling. Host has thought of everything! I have nothing to write here, we had no negatives.
- Karen (10/5): A high end home away from home. With a very thoughtful host - The house is absolutely stunning. Finished to a high level, beautifully furnished. Lots of lovely and thoughtful extras provided. Stunning flowers, a fridge stocked with milk, orange juice and snacks. A number of breakfast options available.
The host even provided alternative milk for my sister who is allergic to dairy. This was greatly appreciated for making hot drinks after a long journey from the North.
I would happily stay here again Nothing I didn’t like at all.
- Noel (9/5): A beautiful, lovely place to stay in Chichester. - Beautiful, immaculate highly hospitable space. Slightly concerned that it contained damageable items highly precious to owner.
- Ron (9/5): A very pleasant stay in a comfortable well equipped home. - The property was in a quiet street next to the canal, a short walk to the marina area and large cinema complex. The owner left a full array of coffee, tea and breakfast cereals. For any cooking there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer and washing machine. On our arrival there were huge bowls of flowers in almost every room including the bedrooms. There was ample private parking space at the side of the house with access via the garden a conservatory.

- loraine (8/5): - Good location. Well presented house and some nice little extras included. Some instructions for oven and coffee machine would have been useful.
- Jeroen (9/5): Comfortable stay! - The cottage was very tidy, and the decoration was very pritty. There was a huge welcome basket with snacks, breakfast and some milk and juice. The owner was very thoughtfull, there were even fresh flowers in every room. It is in walking distance of Chichester, a nice walk along a canal. Everything was OK
- Sally (10/5): A great find for an overnight stay when visiting Chichester and the surrounding area - Very comfortable beds. Everything we needed for a short break. Host had thoughtfully provided milk, breakfast cereals and a wonderful selection of teas and coffee as well as snacks for us to enjoy. A perfect location for going to Chichester festival theatre and shopping in the city. There were the most beautiful fresh flowers in every room, but though we love lilies we found the scent rather overpowering in the living room.

- Faye (10/5): A lovely few days spent in a house that is very well maintained by a thoughtful owner. - Beautifully presented and easy parking. Loved all the little extras, flowers and breakfast. Nothing
- Sue (9/5): Superb - The location of the property was excellent. It was great to have off road parking. There was also a canal path near the property with a lovely walk direct into Chichester. Although you're not too far a bus stop. The owner had placed a large number of fresh flowers around the house which were lovely. The complimentary items were also a lovely touch. Although the flowers were lovely, they did limit the amount of space available in the bathroom and bedrooms
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to get to.
Close to the city
- Timothy (9/5): Amazing accommodation and value for money for a couple - The property was small but perfect for us as couple. Thoughtful design features made it very comfortable. We especially loved the flower arrangements left for us as well as the fridge with our choicel of milk, the wide range of snacks provided free of charge, the upmarket coffee machine and wide range of coffee etc. Highly recommend the house. We will be returning again!
- Cristina (10/5): The best choice! - Everything was perfect. We really felt like home. The house was very nice. The nicest host, beyond expectations.
We will definitely come here again.
I recommend it from the bottom of my heart! ❤️ Nothing.
Time, it passed too quickly 🙂
- Jean (10/5): Home from home - This was a lovely little house, beautifully furnished, very comfortable, very well equipped and great attention to detail to make sure you enjoyed your visit.
- Judith (7/5): Very nice house, well equipped, some really nice touches. Comfy beds, great shower, great location - Well equipped , comfortable nice welcome pack, great location Food in cupboards and fridge etc as if it was their home
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely house with elegant furnishings and immaculately clean. The owner has thoughtfully provided everything and more that you could possibly need. I only wish we could have spent more time there. Check-in at 4pm is a little late compared to most places.

- David (9/5): Beautiful house in great location - Great location and a really good selection of breakfast products and other snacks/drinks which were well received. The house is beautiful but was slightly worried my teenage boys would end up breaking some of the lovely furniture and ornaments!
Not really a criticism though as all in all a great stay!
- Jane (10/5): The host nailed it !!! In every way , outstanding - Absolutely beautiful Nothing , the host was exceptional!!
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent host and clean amazing house Nothing
- Tracey (10/5): Recommended. - Thi made sure that there were fresh flowers in all the rooms, she also left quality snacks and treats, fresh berries and a choice of fresh fruit juices, wine and bottled water in the fridge. Although we ate few of the snacks left as we both suffer with dietary problems, she made sure the dairy alternatives were available as requested. Excellent bus route and frequent bus service. We couldn’t find any problems with either the property or the host. We would definitely try to use the same property again.
- Andrew (9/5): Exceptional and Comfortable base for exploring the Downs or a walk into Chichester. - Lovely choice of cereals and pastries ready to pop in the oven when required.
Tea and coffee facilities supplied with sugars and milk.
Nice conservatory or seating outside to have breakfast at. Couldn't fault it really.
If I was being really picky, a mirror in the bathroom would be ideal.
Otherwise it was a really comfortable and well equipped house.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
