• Muriel (4/5): très mauvaise expérience - Literie confortable Propreté irréprochable Préambule : nous effectuons plus de 15 reservations par an depuis 25 ans dans des structures de 1 à 3 étoiles. Ces commentaires sont donc basés sur notre riche expérience. - Chambre extrêmement sombre nécessitant d allumer la lumière toute la journée - murs peints en noir tendance prune et fenêtre donnant sur un patio de moins de 9m2 - vis à vis avec la seconde chambre louée obligeant en plus à tirer les rideaux - chambre annoncée comme ayant une surface de 35m2!!! Tout au plus 25 en réalité - aucune pression dans la douche - petit déjeuner (pdj) bas de gamme : tranches de fromage industriel sous cellophane, jambon à base de viande reconstituée, gâteaux industriels sous plastique - Pour 2 personnes et 2 matins, au total : À peine 1L de lait sans lactose et écrémé 1 yaourt 2 capsules de café 3 malheureuses pommes Aucunes viennoiseries contrairement à ce qui est présenté sur une des photos Et cerise sur le gâteau des produits périmés : 09/2025 pour de gros agglomérats tous secs de café - 08/2025 pour du beurre de cacahuètes - Obligation de faire la vaisselle de son pdj Nous ne nous attendions aucunement à un pdj 5 étoiles, l argument redondant de l hôte à chaque critique sur son pdj mais il y a des limites... - check-out sollicité par l hôte à 9h avec rappel par mail la veille!!!! Car le client doit s organiser en fonction de son emploi du temps. Nous avons choisi de partir à 10h :agacement très appuyé de Madame et réflexion déplacée - nous le savions : chambre chez l hôte. Nous en avons l habitude; nous nous sommes sentis tout sauf à l aise car des consignes partout de ce qu il faut faire ou à ne pas faire... - des frais supplémentaires aux prix exorbitants pour tout : 10€ en cas de changement de serviette de toilette ; pour une machine à laver 5 euros jusqu'à 1kg et 10 euros jusqu'à 6 kg!!

• Thomas (8/5): Entspannte Unterkunft mit süßem Zimmer - Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, mit Adaptern für die Steckdose und einem Fön. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön und hat richtig viel Stauraum geboten. Der Kühlschrank und die Mikrowelle im Zimmer waren auch sehr praktisch. Es gab auch noch einen richtig schönen Balkon. Beim Frühstück, waren viele Sachen so gut wie leer oder auch Abgelaufen. Ein wenig mehr Gemüse wäre auch schön gewesen.

• Laura Anna (10/5): Nagyon jó hangulatban teltek ott a napjaink. Igazán kedves és segítőkész szállásadók. - Hangulatos szállás. Bőséges reggeli. Tömegközlekedés elérhetősége nagyon egyszerű volt.
• Alex (10/5): - Warm welcome, easy to find and excellent instructions for arrival. Everything was as described in booking details. Self service breakfast, room, shared bathroom, living area and balcony were all immaculate. Irene and Marco are a lovely couple and excellent hosts. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you. Also, excellent value for money and easy to get Busses to other parts of the Island. We also used Bolt (Taxi), which was extremely reliable and very cheap.

• Schuster (9/5): Újépítésű modern ház, hangulatos lakásberendezés, nagyon barátságos házigazda. - Újépítésű modern ház, hangulatos lakásberendezés. A szoba kiadója, tulajdonosa is benn él a lakásban, igazi otthon. Reggelire terülj-terülj asztalkám volt, egy 2 méteres étkezőpult tele volt pakolva mindenféle étellel, mindenki válogathat kedvére. Tömegközlekedéssel kicsit lassú eljutni más városokba, de nem vészes,illetve Bolt taxival megoldható gyorsabban is.
• Srđan (10/5): - Opuštena atmosfera, izuzetna ljubaznost, imali smo zvanično doručak, ali to je bila neka blaža all inclusive varijanta, jer u svako doba dana i noći si mogao da otvoriš frižider i da uzmeš šta ti treba. Ovo nije zamerka, nego napomena: Irene i Marco su u nekom "peace, brother" fazonu, potpuno drugačijem od našeg životnog stila, ali nam to nije smetalo. Dakle, mlađima od nas i onima koji su "večito mladi" boravak u ovom smeštaju bi se još više dopao nego nama.

• Luca (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel e non possiamo che parlarne benissimo! La camera era bellissima, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, arredata con gusto e soprattutto pulita al 100%. Anche le aree comuni erano impeccabili, accoglienti e mantenute con grande attenzione.

• Niels Ove (7/5): Okay billig overnatning - Rigtig fin lejlighed, venlig indehaver og egentlig alt hvad du har brug for. Der er ikke noget dissideret jeg ikke kunne lide, men var ikke klar over værten var hjemme og der var yderligere værelse som udlejes.

Greateful for the a/c in the room because without it, it would be impossible to sleep due to heat (beggining of August). 😊 The pillows were awfully hard, and the bed is not the most comfortable bed we slept in. 😬

• KacperP0dróżnik (6/5): - Podobało nam się, jak piękny był wystrój i jak czysto było w całym mieszkaniu. Świetne były również udogodnienia czyli europejskie wtyczki do gniazdek oraz klimatyzacja. Lokalizacja również była super. Dużym plusem był również współdzielony balkon Pierwszym nie miłym zaskoczeniem był widok z okna na okno z pokoju na przeciwko i ścianę. W pokoju cały czas było ciemno, nawet kiedy odsłanialismy zasłony. Cały czas musiało świecić się światło. Przez to czuliśmy się, jakby cały czas był wieczór. Największym minusem które najbardziej zniszczyło nam humor, było jedzenie. Po zdjęciach oczekiwaliśmy dużego wyboru, świeżych wypieków ( jak na zdjęciach) jednak po przejechaniu okazało się że do wyboru mamy glownie suche produkty na stole. Jakby tego było mało, w pierwszy dzień po otwarciu lodówki zastaliśmy spleśniały dżem w słoiku, pół mleka w kartoniku i podpite soki. Na początku myśleliśmy że to pomyłka innych gości, ale jak się później okazało, to był sposób na oszczędzanie właścicieli. Po zjedzeniu jedzenia z lodówki, właścicielka z wielkim bólem uzupełniła je dwa razy ale tylko raz, dostaliśmy pełne uzupełnienie świeżych produktów. A tak, dostawaliśmy nie zużyte produkty po innych, jak wcześniej wspomniane mleko soki ser i serki.

It's a great thing to get a local insight so you can explore Marsaskala through the eyes of someone who lives there. • Sally (10/5): A wonderful eclectic pearl in Marsaskala - We stayed in the room called Mystery Garden which has a private bathroom. Everything was very clean and every morning breakfast was served beautifully. Coming back to the nest after long days of exploring was just perfect, both for the body and mind. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming, and had thought of every single detail and beyond. Best thing was the bed which was so comfortable, we slept like happy babies (dangerous when you had to get up early). Highly recommend!

The location is really close to everything (10 -15 min drive from airport, 15 min walk to the sea, 15-20 min drive from Valletta center) The host was very careful, I definitely will get back!!!

Staying together with the hosts, who are present practically non-stop, is quite restrictive, there is a complete lack of privacy. We didn't know that in advance from the description of the accommodation, that's why it surprised us. If we had known this, we would not have chosen this accommodation, although otherwise the hosts are nice and pleasant people and some may not mind or even appreciate it. It might suit some...

• Tamás (1/5): I genuinely wish to her a full recovery. - Asked for a breakfast of our style, and we got it. - Though only once - It is actually one apartment, with the landlady and her boyfriend living there. You rent a room. When we have been there, both the lady and her boyfriend were sick with flue-like symptoms. Because of some strange reasons like air condition, or even her period according to her. On the third morning of our ten days, her condition deteriorated and she was not able to get up. We have seen only a box of medicine on the counter instead of the breakfast. After she managed to get out of bed, we agreed on our check-out, and a fifty percent direct refund in two weeks. Probably because of the illness, now she recalls some details differently, and even changed her mind about to refund anything at all.
• Martina (10/5): Amazing host, we'll be back! - Irene is one of the best hosts I've encountered on any of my trips so far, she's communicative, a very sweet person, always available and ready to help. Breakfast is amazing, there are sweet and savory choices. The apartment is very cozy and homey looking. The city is about 10 km away from Valletta, busses are usually on time according to Google schedule and thry are frequent, the nearest bus station is 2 minutes away from the apartment. Trip was too short :D

• Marius (9/5): Good vibes - Irene is a thoughtful and vibrant person, her husband is an awesome guy with a great energy. Their apartment is a exquisite place with interesting furniture. The room was pretty small and no outside window view, ( I recommend the second guest room which also has a private bathroom. Excellent bed and wonderful thick blanket, also you have access to the most beautiful balcony outside the kitchen are. Is summery great apartment, good people.
• Nikola (10/5): Fantastic Stay at Artist's Nest!!! - My partner and I wanted a special retreat to celebrate Valentine's. The place is incredible, all the way from the comfortable and spotless rooms to the beautifully decorated interior, thanks to the incredible artistry of Irene and Marco. They welcomed us with big hearts and made us feel warm and cosy in what felt like our own home. Breakfast was amazing and always well prepared for us (we loved drinking our morning tea on the balcony with the beautiful 'bella vista'). We highly recommend this spot for those in need of a dose of vivid creativity, and for those that want to detox from the daily noise of normal life. Overall experience: 10/10, highly recommended. Beautiful people, beautiful place. Grazie mille Irene and Marco!!!
