Guest Reviews
- Diane (10/5): Perfect stargazing place - The tiny home had everything we needed and was in a remote area without any neighbours. Surrounded by the bush and wildlife and no mobile signal, it was a perfect detox to hectic life.
- Gabrielle (8/5): - The location, the serenity and privacy. The toilet filled quickly so was pretty smelly in the heat a couple days into our trip
- joshua (9/5): -
- Kim (8/5): Lovely tiny house in a beautiful location. - Host kindly met us at on the property to show us the way to the tiny house.
House had everything we needed. A beautiful house in a beautiful location.
Wonderful bushland and saw some wildlife also. Generally good just needed a bit of a clean (e.g. fridge was dirty).
It does have a compost toilet as I must have missed reading this.

- Maggie (9/5): Very peaceful and relaxation plus - Stunning views and peaceful
- Elizabeth (10/5): Tiny home. Great experience - We loved the location, privacy, tranquility, and facilities.
Given it was such a tiny house, it was very well equipped - everything we needed was there. Fridge, microwave, cooktop, fire, tea, coffee, condiments, even aeroguard, etc..
The host Carl was lovely, very helpful, informative and generous with his time and knowledge. The compost toilet was not our favourite thing.
- Joy (10/5): -
- Jane (10/5): - We absolutely loved staying here. The surrounding bushland is beautiful and alive with birds and critters which is perfect for a bird nerd like myself. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed. Having an outdoor fire was perfect. Was able to watch the lunar eclipse from the bed! Will definitely be back. Nothing.
- Sarah (4/5): We ended up leaving on our second of three nights due to the poor facilities. Refund requested. - The location was beautiful and the stars were terrific A few things did not go so well, namely:
- pipe leaking from composting toilet causing bad smell and flies around the outside. This was fixed during our stay but still made it uncomfortable initially.
- solar battery trying to restart during the morning at 6:30am - beeping woke us up early and did not stop until the property owner fixed it at ~9am
- solar battery not charging properly. This caused a loss of power at ~6pm at night. This resulted not only in a loss of power for cooking, fridge, and heating, but a loss of gas for hot water and water pressure entirely. We were unable to cook, clean or shower. The battery had been changed recently but this should have been tested prior to allowing for a booking.
- poor insulation of the tiny house
We ended up evacuating the property on the second night of our three night stay as it was getting to -4C that night, and without power, hot water, or insulation, we did not feel comfortable or safe staying at this location. We went to a local pet friendly motel last minute which ended up being much cheaper than this tiny house.
- Jack (10/5): Great break for peace and quiet in nature. Exactly as the description - Quiet and calm. Fire pit was a lovely addition
- Nathaniel (5/5): Dissatisfied stay - The tranquility The solar kept shorting and so we had no power to cook, to see or to keep warm . Very disappointed in our stay
- Niall (8/5): Quiet and comfortable. - Managing the water system, turning it on and off, was a little bit of a nuisance.
- Catherine (8/5): Great stay near nature - The location was great. Was awesome to just be by ourselves right on the edge of a great national park. Having the option to have a fire was also good fun. The water pump kept failing, so nearly every time we needed to turn on a tap we had to go outside to reset the pump, which was a bit annoying. Would be good to have this fixed up for future guests.
- Rita (4/5): Great location but disappointed in accommodation . - Great location Water pump needed to be reset all the time to get water. The toilet closing wasn’t comfortable.
- Roberta (9/5): Idyllic cosy retreat perfect to see the stars and enjoy the bush - Being in the bush to see the stars to watch sunset and sunrise was beautiful - and the absolute quiet apart from some beautiful birds calling to each other Nothing
- Teague (8/5): Very good - Great secluded quiet location.
- Vee (7/5): Amazing night sky view - Peaceful location where we felt like we had the property to ourselves. We loved looking up at the stars at night and bird watching during the day. Perfectly equipped to make meals and clean up. It was close enough to town too. Wasn't expecting a composting toilet. Missed it in the listing. Opps. But it was just a short stay so no big deal.
- Margie (10/5): The experience was fun and truly country NSW - Was remote but not far from town, great experience of country NSW. Best stars on our trip.
- Jaime (10/5): An amazing stay , would definitely rebook - The peace and privacy with luxury surrounds
