• Nina (7/5): Klein, aber fein - Sehr netter Gastgeber. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Leckere Pfannkuchen zum Frühstück! Die Betten sind sehr weich, aber das ist eine persönliche Kritik! Andere mögen das vielleicht. Das Zimmer unter dem Dach wird im Sommer mit Sicherheit sehr warm, durch die kühle Nacht heute war es aber vollkommen okay. Die Treppen haben sehr schmale Stufen, mit Gepäck eine kleine Herausforderung :)

• Stephen Behren (8/5): A relaxing and enjoyable stay with a nice breakfast and no real downsides. - The guest house was calm, comfortable, and perfect for a short stay. The free American pancake breakfast was a lovely bonus and a great way to start the day. The location in Arnhem was peaceful yet still convenient to reach the city. There was honestly nothing to complain about during the stay. Everything went smoothly and met expectations, making it a very easy and stress-free experience.

• Sanne (10/5): Super verblijf! - Hamid is ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft zijn best gedaan om mijn verblijf perfect te maken! Hij heeft me geholpen met mijn vervoer naar Gelredome (wegbrengen en ophalen). Het ontbijt is inbegrepen, wat makkelijk en lekker is. Alles is schoon en het bed lag goed. Ik heb enorm genoten van mijn verblijf en kom hier graag weer wanneer ik een concert heb in Gelredome, of een weekendje naar Arnhem wil.

• Michael Grönewald (8/5): Prima geeignet für einen Zwischenstopp auf meiner Motorradreise durch die Niederlande - Überraschendes Pancake-Frühstück! Sehr lecker. Leider war das Zimmer unter dem Dach sehr warm (es waren draußen 30°!), es hatte sich über Tag sehr aufgeheizt. Der Standventilator brachte nur geringe Kühlung. Aber sonst alles top! Parkplatz für das Motorrad auf dem Grundstück vorhanden.

• Antoinette (8/5): Prima kamer! - Prima onderkomen voor een korte nacht Geen kritiek, maar wel belangrijk/handig om te weten dat je de trap af moet om naar het toilet te gaan als je de kamer op de 2e verdieping hebt (wat overigens een prima kamer is).

• Wendy (7/5): Be aware that stairs a insanely steep. - Convenient location. Stairs were crazy steep - almost ladder like. They would be illegal at home. Pancake breakfast was a bit disappointing.

• Bengt (2/5): To summarize, not what I expected from the description in Booking.com and from the price asked. - Friendly host. Peaceful area. Our host was nice and friendly and we were well received. However, the accomodation was not what we were led to expect from the description at Booking.com. We were surprised that the accommodation was in a private home. "managed by a private host", obviously signifies "Bed and Breakfast". "Tranquil green retreat" with "garden view" is not the same as a room in someone's house on the 2nd floor and sharing the bathroom on the floor below with the host and his family. This is not a correct description. Partly my own fault to trust Booking.com and not to check better. 7 positive commentaries are too few and I wasn't aware that "managed by a private host" obviously is a code for Bed and Breakfast. The description says we would have a "garden view". Well we had, but from the second floor and mostly of the neighbours' gardens. Our room was two stairs up, and the bathroom was on the floor below us. And we shared it with the host and his family. Bathroom with personal items from host, or someone else? There was no mention of this in the description. The stairs are the steepest I've experienced, somewhat dangerous if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. No mention of this in the description. Bed linens were made of some synthetic material. They were clean but well used and did not hold hotel standard. Lastly, the breakfast, American pancakes are swell if you like them, but there was no juice, fruit, youghurt, bread, or eggs which you normally get in any hotel. The price the host asks is a 3-4 star hotel price and not for Bed and Breakfast. Another house in the same area asks a little more than half.
