Guest Reviews
- Wendy (10/5): Fabulous stay. - Great communication with the host, house was huge with plenty of room. Everything we needed, would definitely stay again. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Tiler5687 (5/5): - Great location, modern styling. Roomy kitchen. Lovely experience until we went to bed where we found the bunk my son got into clearly hadn't had the bedding changed. On closer inspection, several of the other pillows and duvets smelt of BO. The master bedroom upstairs was lacking a sheet and the marks on the duvet made us suspect it hadn't been changed. We found another sheet in the drier and used that.
Overall it is a lovely house but really could do with a decent clean. The kitchen floor was a bit sticky and the bedroom carpets smelt a bit cheesy and would certainly benefit from a clean.
- Amanda (10/5): - Central clean and furnishings good quality N/a
- Barbara (7/5): Overall it’s good experience - Location, size of the house, overall cleanliness I booked for 7 people but only 2 towels were provided. Bed linens in both double rooms were stained, they didn’t look fresh washed (we had to wash them)
- Poppy (8/5): Lovely family home, tastefully decorated in a perfect location - Lovely sized property in a perfect location. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water and showers worked well. Would stay again, great family property for up to 8 There were one or two issues that we addressed with Charlotte who responded immediately and has assured me that she will take onboard ….
- Steph (10/5): - Beautiful place, host was lovely and very helpful. We were unable to use the fridge on this occasion due to unforseen circumstances but as we were only there for one night it didn't really affect us. The beds were really comfortable. Location is fabulous with great views, short walk down to Dawlish town. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended. That I only booked one night.
- Angela (9/5): Great location and a lovely short walk seafront to Dawlish. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, huge kitchen , - Spacious kitchen and views of the sea We found personal letters, cleaning products in crockery cupboards. The TV in kitchen was useless. The oven tray is too big for the oven so can’t be used. The shower cubicle on top floor needed a good clean.
- Michael (10/5): Warren's Nest was superb. Really big, plenty of sleeping space for all, a nice place to eat in. - Warren's Nest was superb. Really big, plenty of sleeping space for all, a nice place to eat in.
Bedding and towels were provided and they made a real difference - everything you needed was in place.
Plenty of parking for all. Nothing.
- James (10/5): Fabulous -
- Helen (10/5): This house is very homely and welcoming. Ideal for couples or families, with or without dogs. - This house was very homely, clean and welcoming. close to the beach and good walks for dogs.
Very close to shops
Highly recommend for couples or families, with or without dogs
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Buttercups (6/5): Filthy, Shane, as a lovely house, - Lovely location, lovely house and furniture
Comfortable beds It was filthy
I had to go next door and buy dishwasher tablets, surface cleaner, and washing powder.
Butter over utensils
Dirty pans and liquid in the slow cooker
Fridge not cleaned
Fat all over the bottom of the cooker
Large cobwebs outside a bedroom and beside gridge
Used plaster in the toilet cupboard
Twrrible smell when we walked in. Smelt like a wet dog: Smelly washing in the washing machine
Dirty washing on the floor by washing machine
Extractor fan in toilet filthy
Floor had shoe prints on it
The bedding was clean.
I have never, in all the years I have used Booking.com, had to write a complaint before
So disappointing
I wrote about the cleanliness to the owners and had no reply.. If they use a cleaning g service, they need to change it.
- Hoi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Meggie (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay - fabulous communication from the host, beautiful rooms with everything we needed, and gorgeous sea views! We will be back 😊
- Roy (9/5): Very comfortable met all our requirements - Nice house, good location Nothing
- Maria (7/5): Nice views, comfy beds. - Good views, comfy beds. Good location next to Chinese and convenience store.
Generally clean but dishwasher full of dirty plates. Not enough plates and cups in general though.
Washing machine and dryer were also full and in use. Not an issue for us but if you'd been travelling about as we often do and staying in places for one night, you'd still expect to be able to use them.
Sofa although very comfy, is too big for the lounge so have to squeeze in through the door to get in.
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely relaxing comfortable home from home - The house was lovely and comfortable brilliant views spacious house comfortable furniture and beds Nothing
- Sandrashrub (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent location, great facilities, very helpful host -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Perfect location to dawlish and other resorts, very short walk down to the sea front.
Lovely views of the sea from the balcony and the full length top floor windows.
Lovely large kitchen and comfy front room. Top floor shower couldn't be turned down from very hot so couldn't use it.
- Eileen (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect for our stay and the house was clean and comfortable.
- Alejandra (8/5): It's a nice place, I'd come back. - Communication with the hosts was easy; they were kind. The place is lovely. The neighbours knocked on our door at 9:00 p.m. We were having dinner, not parting, but in any case, 9:00 p.m. is a bit disrespectful for people to ask us to shut up.
- Sandrashrub (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (6/5): Lovely house lovely location Wi-Fi excellent but lacking in cheap everyday things. - Simple everyday things only 3 mugs . No waste paper bins. No mirrrors in bathroom or bedroom no scissors. Remote control batteries dead we had to buy more.
- Sarah (9/5): Homely - Enjoyed our stay..kids loved the place. I felt so relaxed. Everything we wanted as a family for places to visit fantastic seaview. Would have appreciated curtain being on landing window and front door.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - The house was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, will be using again
- Caddy (10/5): Good stay - 3 cosy and spacy bedrooms, very big kitchen with all needed equipment, living room with big TV (chromecast available), 3 toilet rooms, close to the seaside and beach. A little shop on the next house. Quiet area. 1 parking place in front of the house, for the 2nd car parking place behind the house.
- Lindsey (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient location, spacious rooms, nice decor. Communication from hosts was poor: There was no information provided in advance of the stay regarding how to get keys, wifi or parking. The code for getting keys was sent only hours before we arrived. Wifi and TVs were not working. One bathroom was missing toilet paper and soap.
- Vicky (6/5): Good location and has potential - Great location
Nice kitchen
Good that there was living room with working tv
Convenient Chinese takeaway next door No mirror in main bathroom
No bins in bathrooms
No dishwasher tablets / dishwasher broken
Tv didn’t work in kitchen
No oil or other basic kitchen condiments
Late in providing check in details and no check out details
- Lauren (10/5): Brilliant - Great location and lovely property. Having 2 cars was tricky but there is a car park just down the road (5min walk) which was approx £4 for 48 hours so was perfect.
- Pawel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (8/5): Very good -
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing house
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional - Up there with the best properties I've stayed at we work away and stay at alot of properties each month buy far one of the best we stayed at beautiful kitchen
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katerina (2/5): Lovely house but dirty. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMERS - Very nice house with lovely views Very dirty, tv not working, stained towels, sewage smell, empty glass of cider and cigarettes left on the terrace and more.
- Paul (6/5): Great location, with lots of potential, communication needs improving. - Location, mid-way between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. Was allowed to check in early which was appreciated. The kitchen was huge with all the mod cons. The top bedroom was amazing, great views of the sea. Lounge very comfortable.
Great chinese takeaway close to the property. Communication from the host was poor. No wifi password left, found it on the router but wifi slow and problematic, unable to use streaming services, no tv available. Messages to the host concerning thhese issues were mostly unanswered.
Top shower/basin - no cold water, so unavailable. Mid level toilet seat hinge broken.
House could do with a deep clean. Would recommend a guest book with information such as wifi passwords, dealing with rubbish, local walks etc
- Ellie (10/5): Beautiful Seaviews, stunning home, gorgeous area - it’s in a perfect location one side dawlish and the other is dawlish warren you can see the sea for all rear windows it just a absolutely beautiful place you won’t regret staying and booking here. also it has a shop basically next door! nothing
