• Jones (10/5): Absolutely what we needed - Great communication. Parking and easy walk to where we needed to be.
• Simon (5/5): It’s okay for a one night stay - Location for the peaks and Sheffield was good. Bathroom was clean and shower was nice with plenty of hot water Would benefit from a good clean. Food was in kitchen cupboards- no idea how long it had been there. Glad we didn’t need to use the oven.
• Ryan (1/5): None existent! - What did I like? Absolutely nothing — except the fact that we did not end up staying here. Upon arrival, there was nowhere to park. We were forced to park in the centre of Sheffield and make our own way to the so-called “Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment” in Neverthorpe. The surrounding area did not feel safe, and I genuinely did not feel confident that my car would still be there in the morning had I left it nearby. Accessing the property was unpleasant and concerning. There was rubbish strewn around the entrance, and the overall condition of the immediate surroundings was unacceptable. When we reached the door — after navigating litter and vermin in the area — we were unable to enter because no key lock code had been provided. Attempts to contact the property owner using the number supplied were unsuccessful, as the number did not exist. Messages sent via Booking.com received no response. After contacting Booking.com customer service and waiting approximately 15 minutes to speak to a representative, we were told they would attempt to contact the host. We were then left waiting outside in the rain for 45 minutes with three children before being told we could book alternative accommodation — otherwise, any new booking would have been at our own expense. This experience was completely unacceptable. The property should not be listed. Booking.com typically maintains a reasonable standard, but this fell far below even the most basic expectations. I strongly advise others not to book this apartment. EVERYTHING!
• Janet (4/5): Very Disappointing - Good heating/hot water, beds comfy, lounge ok, bathroom ok Started off disappointing as unable to contact the host regarding the keys after an hour outside the property we were advised following various calls/texts and an email that the keys were hidden between two bricks outside the front door despite there being a lock box. The accommodation was ok but was very lacking in some of the basic necessities e.g not enough side plates, mugs and bowls for 4 people. There were peoples belongings in the cabinet in the lounge, a thong in the washing machine, a corset in the cupboard under the sink, toiletries in the bathroom, rotten food, the freezer was frozen solid and the drawers were smashed. The floor and stairs were not clean should have at least been vacuumed prior to our arrival. The TV we were unable to work for 3 days./thewre was a cabinet full of someone else food items. The most disappointing thing was that the numbers listed for the host were unable to take calls or were no longer registered, we had to email Booking.Com for assistance. It took 3 days for him to contact us and that was only because he wanted to gain access to the property to measure for a new shower screen that was wobbly. We mentioned again about the lack of mugs (we had to go out and buy 3 coffees from KFC so we had polystyrene cups to drink out of), bowls and side plates. He said he would come back the following day to provide - HE NEVER DID!!!!! We eventually got a message from him after we asked when he was coming with the missing items and also to ask again about the TV he just messaged to say how to operate it and no mention of the missing items. We ended up drinking out of the polystyrene cups for the duration of our stay and using Tupperware containers we found in the cupboard as bowls. Would I recommend this property - if you are not bothered by any of the above then go for it otherwise ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!!

• Talal Alenezi (6/5): A quiet place - You have a separate entrance and feel private. The place is quiet and away from crowded areas. Very close to the bus and tram station. The furniture is old and needs to be replaced and renewed. The mattresses, covers and bed are old and sagging and have some wear and tear and a few changes in the colors.
• Daniel (1/5): Horrible rat infested apartment! - Bedding was clean. Location and surroundings are awful. Overflowing rubbish bins outside, and rubble near front door. Inside it is infested with rats!!!! Kitchen smelled horrible when we arrived, maybe due to dirty things in oven, old food in fridge or the rats in the cupboards. Owner communication is terrible to non existent when we voiced our concerns. Definitely would avoid at all costs. Not sure where other reviewers stayed (if they are real). Description of deluxe is definite mis-advertising!

• Jane (5/5): Comfortable but badly provisioned flat. - The flat was nicely decorated and comfortable. Location was good for the tram line and close to Kelham Island restaurants. We received no directions or key code in advance - had to call host when we arrived. TV only included streaming services - no access to live TV. We had to contact the host on several occasions to request coat hangers (as none initially provided) and get instructions for things. He was unable to adjust the thermostat. Toilet seat wasn't fitted properly. There were no kitchen utensils/knives/chopping boards so we couldn't cook. Only very limited crockery available and no wine glasses. Dining table was too small - only suits 2 people. Lamp in sitting room had no bulb.

• Peter (9/5): A nice, recently renovated, apartment that is close to the trams and shops. - This apartment has been completely refitted, and new appliances installed. Because it is close to a tram line, it is 10mins to town and 20 mins to the English Institute of Sport. Car parking in the area is available and free. For our purposes it was ideal, and we would return if we need to go to Sheffield again. A great stay could have been made even better if some minor things had been provided, see below. Chopping board; Breadknife; Tea Towles; Four Mugs; Coat hangers; Iron; Ironing Board, Drying Line/Stand.

• Crg2512 (9/5): Excellent brand new apartment, well positioned for Kelham Island and town centre - Excellent apartment, very recently completed, high standard of finish and attention to detail. Ideally placed within walking distance of Kelham Island and fabulous find dining restaurant Joro. Tram and bus stops very close to get to town centre etc. Free parking outside property. We turned the large TV on in the morning to have coffees before leaving, but it needs tuning, not a big problem. Could do with some glasses ( or we couldn’t find them!) Had my orange juice in a mug. Other than that, great
• Paull (10/5): It was a quiet, comfortable and lovely stay. I will definitely be booking this property when ever I’m visiting Sheffiel - Clean property, spacious and a great host. Easy access to a lot of shops and fairly close to the city centre. The area is quiet as well and great parking space. Slow or no Wi-Fi.
