• Adriana (3/5): If it was cleaner it would have made a huge difference. - Location was good. It was very roomy, Lots of space Cleanliness was appalling. Shower came off the wall. The dishwasher door was at the bottom of the stairs.

• martin (8/5): Needs some TLC but overall a nice apartment in a nice area. - Location was excellent within 25 min walk of city centre. Area felt safe and secure. Very responsive and helpful staff, resolved my issue with the parking permit. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and living room. Very comfy beds. Bedroom area in the basement had a smell of mold. Dehumidifier was insufficient and the bathroom fans didn’t work, resulting in the whole area being very humid. We must have emptied the dehumidifier about 10-12 times over the weekend and the smell was becoming less noticeable.There were some electrical sockets that need some adjusting as they were slack on the wall and the one to the left of the bed only worked sometimes. The shower within the en-suite needs a repair done on the shower head bracket. All really small things that would have made the apartment really good.
• Fiona (2/5): EXPENSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT - Nothing. The whole experience was an expensive disappointment. Additional costs were incurred - I was made aware of an extra charge of 50 pounds sterling if checking in a half hour early or checking out a half hour later. This was not mentioned on booking.com. Security deposit of 150 pounds sterling was another additional cost to be paid before arrival. Once in the department I noticed a very strong smell of damp. Windows in the kitchen were not to be opened as per a notice stating same. Cupboard doors were missing and one was hanging off the kitchen units. Ensuite shower ran cold water at all times and never got hot. Bedside lamp in ensuite room was not working. Carpet on stairs was stained and dirty. Black mould was in the ensuite bathroom and main bathroom. Both bedrooms had a strong smell of both mould and damp and paint in both bedrooms was coming off the walls. Main front door to access apartment had been locked from the inside and we were completely locked out on two occasions. I phoned contact number but got no answer till the following morning. There was NO 24/7 service, and we were stressed and panicked. Overall, it was a very expensive disappointment. Apartment photos as per booking.com were not a true representation of the department. It was a complete waste of money. I would not recommend it to anyone and certainly will not book it going forward. Due to stress incurred a refund should issue as soon as possible. We left the apartment on Sunday 22nd June at 9:45 am before additional charges of 50 pound were incurred at 10am as per email re check out procedures.
• Karen (8/5): Host was helpful and quick to respond. Was good having two bathrooms as went as two couples. - Convenient quiet position with easy walk or bus ride into town
• Christine (9/5): Great location for city break - Good quiet location but within walking distance of the city centre. Well presented, clean, comfortable, and everything needed was there. Very minor issue but the pipework in the main bathroom could do with freshening up.
• Andrea (7/5): Nice place, lovely location. Fine for a weekend away. - Flat is in a quiet but very beautiful part of town. Tesco local 2 mins away as well as a couple of pubs. There is a parking permit with the appartment, which was essential. Used for a weekend away for 4 friends and the size and facilites were ok. Slight smell of damp and although there was a dehumidifier, we couldn't open any windows. Could get a bit warn in the hotter months.
• William (8/5): Excellent weekend,host was always in touch, perfect location for city centre stay, would recommend. - Location very good, 10 minute walk to city centre, all facilities in apartment were great When we walked into apartment it smelled of damp, but that cleared, Bathrooms were a little bit dated, shower unit took a bit of negotiating, with bedrooms being downstairs there wasn’t any windows for ventilation. But overall we would definitely stay here again, location brilliant and host was always keeping in touch , entry was equally brilliant with key access. We got taxi to and from city sometimes( only £6)

• Elizabeth (6/5): It was adequate for the 2 nights we stayed. - It was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The property smelt damp/foisty and you couldn’t open any windows. The bedrooms are downstairs with the bathrooms and there was no working extraction or ventilation. The shower in the en-suite was very poor and you couldn’t regulate a temperature long enough to use it.
• Jane (9/5): Comfy and homely apartment - Comfortable and well equipped apartment, nice and warm with easy controls to manage the heat, much needed as we stayed late November. In a really quiet and attractive street but close to the bars and station. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. Very responsive host over messaging and no need to call. Marked down because the ensuite sink had not been cleaned and the toilet water was suspect. Also, the front door was difficult to open.

• Michael (8/5): Nice, clean flat, approximately a 20 minute walk from Liverpool One. - Clean and comfortable property in a quiet area. More spacious than expected with a good range of kitchen equipment. It was a good base to come back to after being out during the day/evening. A few items were broken on arrival, missing kitchen cover, toilet flush button, shower head was hanging unscrewed and wifi didn’t work but we only used the flat to sleep so not a massive problem.

• Rebecca (7/5): Liverpool - Very well equipped and nicely decorated. Quiet location but easy to walk into the city and near lots of amenities. Sofa bed for 2 adults was very small, impossible for 2 people to sleep on and uncomfortable. Would be ok for children.

• Anonymous (7/5): Style over substance - Position and roomy The heating was not turned on prior to arrival and it was extremely cold. The instructions for all aspects of the property took the form of instruction manuals on the kitchen window sill. We had to phone the renters to find out that the central heating boiler was not turned on at all. There was no information about parking, which was one of the reasons we chose the property - we found space in a lane behind the property. The front of the dishwasher was missing, the shower in the en suite was dilapidated and two lamps were broken.
