Guest Reviews
- Wendy (5/5): We didn’t end up staying at this apartment and took us to a different apartment and asked us for more money. - The location of the other property was in Woolwich which was a nice area. First of all, the renter couldn’t give us the apartment number for this house so once we arrived, we couldn’t get to our apartment and had to wait outside in the area of the postcode that was given. We contacted him but wouldn’t answer the call sometimes and couldn’t give us a straight answer about the apartment number. Then, told us to wait in the area for him to come and told us that this apartment had a flooding so it wasn’t liveable. So, he took us to a different property that he had in a different area in Woolwich which was suspicious already and told us to look at the property first before deciding if we wanted to stay or not and whether we wanted to pay a little more extra because this property is more expensive than the property we booked. When we asked more questions, he got quite defensive when we only wanted to pay £50 extra and said it’s better to not pay anything instead. Then we asked more questions but he got more defensive and we got concerned and worried so we just ended up paying him £100 extra. This was definitely a scam in a way but it was in the moment and we didn’t know what to do so be careful here. The apartment he took us to was quite a nice place and area but the beds weren’t very comfortable and not very clean. There also wasn’t enough towels for us 5 people. Pots and pans weren’t very clean either as we wanted to cook there. It would have been good if it wasn’t a scam.
- Cordy (1/5): Gross -
- Nadine (1/5): Bad - Those pictures are not accurate, there is nothing in this apartment! This is a lie- this owner should be removed from the platform for having taken my money and did not provided the service !!! It listed for 6 persons, however you cannot stay with 6 persons due to the fact that the sofa bed is broken! We did not stay in this property at all since we filed a complaint with a customer representative agent from Booking.com and we sent pictures about the situation of the sofa bad that was broken and the lace that was not cleaned up at all + the very bad smell coming from the kitchen, which was sticky everywhere. We left the place directly after the phone call with booking.com to cancel this reservation due to the non-conformity of this property
- Samrat (8/5): Very good -
- Felix (8/5): Very good -
- Kayode (9/5): Superb -
- Carmelo (7/5): Good -
- Krystyna (1/5): Very rude personnel and broken sofa
bed - Good location We traveled as a family of two adults and 4 kids.We booked this apartment for 6 people. We asked for towels for everyone but there were only 3. There were no toilet paper in the bathroom and only one fork in the kitchen. Two bedrooms were quite ok, but sofa bed in the living room was broken and it was impossible to sleep on it. We wrote the message and called the owner in the evening. He arrived to the apartment between 2 and 3 at night with towels. We complained about the sofa and showed him the damage. He shouted a lot and woke the kids up. They were scared a little. He proposed us to leave the apartment in the morning and promised to give money back. We came to London for 3 days (2 nights) and it was impossible for us to find a new apartment
immediately with 4 minors. We asked for a refund but he refused to discuss this. In the morning we boiled the water in a kettle and electricity disappeared in all the sockets. There were no internet and we couldn't use the fridge and any other electric appliance. We asked for help and he promised to fix it. Someone did that when we were outside. In the evening we came back and decided to heat some food. Electricity in the sockets disappeared again. We wrote him, but noone replied. Second night I slept on the floor together with one kid. As a result we got sick a little, because we used the blanket instead of the mattress and only sheet to cover ourselves. We also couldn't make breakfast because noone told us how to switch on the sockets.
One more thing, on Booking he is using the photos of a different apartment.
Please don't book this apartment if you don't want to spoil your vacation.
- Mihhail (8/5): There were only 2 towels for 4 persons - It’s a very nice apartment 10 minutes from Woolwich underground. Absolutely comfortable for 4-6 persons. Clean and comfort
- Ivana (3/5): - Locality was good however we have booked different locations then owner gives us. We travel long way to our location. We had so many language and baby. Was freezing cold and before our trip I called and spoken with owner to confirm location, 3 beds was our priority and he said everything is fine and ready. When we have finally find place which we meant to checked in owner of the place told us that that place isn’t available and we have no place to stay. Was so super stressful and disappointing that our booking has again been cancelled and none has called us before head or our arrival. After owner place he supposed to provide us he was rude and wanted to just return us money and cancel all accommodation. There was no way for us to look for new accommodation at 6pm in the winter with 2 years old and all family…. He provided us second option and there wasn’t 3 beds as I have paid for was only two beds and sofa bed was completely broken and two people slept on the floor even after i asked multiple times this is my priority. This have ruined our holiday and I am so disappointed how bad impression and experience we had. We shouldn’t even pay for anything as there wasn’t meet our expectations and requirements especially keep little child in this weather and stressed out all family for whole holiday time!
- Andrejs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prashanth (10/5): Best host - I booked this apartment but did not checked whether there is a lift or not. Since my mom had recently fractured her leg she cannot go upstairs. So Host has kindly arranged me another flat with lift and good views. Many thanks to him Everything nice
- Zora (2/5): Wow... - The flat had clean cotton linen on the beds, and clean towels. It did also have cutlery and crockery, even if we did have to use the fairy liquid provided to wash all of the already dirty things as we pulled them out of the cupboard. There was extra parking nearby that was free - thankfully, as the private parking advertised was not available when we first arrived. The flat was in walking distance from a station and a shop.
This property does provide the beds, convenient location, and WiFi you have booked it for. And it's cheap. See the cons for why. The terrifying lead up to the stay, as the owner does not reply to booking.com messages at all, and I was very worried that they would cancel. If you want to communicate, you HAVE to call the number. The flat was disgusting. The fairly large silverfish were having a party on the bathroom floors that had neither been hoovered nor washed. There were grubby oily children's finger prints on the window, and a grimy used ashtray on the balcony. The TV remote didn't work, and we finally got onto the free WiFi after selecting "use network as is" from the menu on the login screen, as you cannot log in. All of the crockery was soiled, and we had to wash it before we could use it. There was no tea towel so we could not wash up and tidy it away at the end. There was no bath mat in the ensuite, so you would have had to step onto the dust motes and silverfish with bare feet. There were cigarette burns on the sofa, door handles with screws missing, and kitchen cabinet doors hanging off their hinges. Kettle has never been descaled and there is no filter so big chunks of limescale fall into your tea (which you need to remember to bring from home as - appropriately for the price - there isn't any). We left a day earlier than planned, as none of us felt comfortable staying there.
There is a reason why this flat is so cheap. If you are staying here, bring antibacterial wipes, slippers, aaa batteries for the remote, and a tea towel. Oh, and a washing up sponge, as the one provided looked like it had been used to clean the underside of a car. And don't expect anyone to meet you at the property - the landlord will video call you and bark instructions at you over the terrible mobile Internet until you reach the key under the mat. After going through the front door to the flats with the broken lock. And if you do decide to book, good luck.
- Ricardo (9/5): Superb - Beds were incredibly comfortable, sheets crisp clean.
Apartment was full of light.
A closet with cleaning supplies was available in case something needed cleaning. Kitchen supplies possibly stolen by the previous travelers, but the owner was responsive and quickly supplied what we needed.

- Graham (6/5): Pleasant -
- Roy (8/5): Very good -
