Totul e foarte curat, ai absolut tot ceea ce îți trebuie iar împrejurimile sunt fantastice. Un loc superb pe care îl vom recomanda cu drag și la care sperăm să mai ajungem. • Munich Minds (9/5): A wonderful, welcoming stay at La Patru Daci where true hospitality shines - Exceptional host care. I accidentally left some personal items behind and, without hesitation, the owner arranged their delivery back to me right away — genuinely the most helpful and responsive host I’ve encountered. Authentic local touch. A bottle of homemade Romanian schnapps (pălincă) was waiting in the house. This thoughtful gesture made the stay feel extra special and truly authentic. Super friendly host. Warm, approachable, and proactive with help — you always feel well looked after. Great facilities. The kitchen has pots, pans, and tableware, and there’s a BBQ area ready to use — perfect for easy meals or a relaxed evening outside. Minor note for longer stays: you’ll want to bring basic cooking staples (salt, pepper, oil, etc.). On the plus side, all essential cookware and tableware are provided, which gives you the freedom to personalize your meals just the way you like.

Exceptional and authentic interior decoration with the best locally woven rugs and many other beautiful artefacts. Spacious outdoor grounds will pool and barbecue area. Don’t forget to visit the Hobbit House! I can’t think of anything

• Muriel (10/5): Absolument incroyable et magnifique - Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée dans cet endroit exceptionnel: la maison est un petit musée en lui-même. Retour dans le passé et les traditions. Pour autant la maison offre tout le confort d'une maison moderne. Vous ne trouverez pas beaucoup de maisons comme celles ci en Roumanie, donc merci à notre hôte d'avoir recréer cette ambiance exceptionnelle. Les maisons ont une âme. Et plus, les propriétaires parlent français et nous ont merveilleusement bien accueillis. Parking dans la rue: aucun problème car le quartier est très calme car résidentiel. Nous avons pu profiter de l'extérieur autour de l'espace barbecue qui est très bien aménagé. Nous recommandons fortement: n'hésitez pas à venir passer un moment merveilleux !

• Andra-maria (9/5): Superb - Very authentic Romanian decor, beautiful and spacious cabin, the fireplace I bet is amazing when it’s cold out, love the swing also, full kitchen & even a grill outside (shared with others). Very nice and helpful hosts, came to greet us, and to check out- even offered to ship a pair of sunglasses that I forgot, very nice people! Close to touristy points of interest. WiFi does not work in each individual cabin, signal comes from main house and it did not work at all. No TV in cabins, it is fine if traveling with other people that like to entertain but I was with my mother who wasn’t feeling well, I could not use the outside hot tub as the other cabin guests already was using it and had all their stuff there. So without WiFi or TV I didn’t have much to do beside sleep. In the booking, it looks like a peaceful cabin in the mountains with a view, however there is no view of the mountains and you are surrounded by houses in a neighborhood- not a huge deal but I was imagining a more peaceful area not surrounded by people. The neighbors were playing music at night but after asking the host they turned it off. Booking states there is parking however the parking is on the actual road, in the middle of the street so cars have to go around your parked car- I was nervous to leave my car parked on the road overnight but it was ok.

• Marian (10/5): Exceptional - La Patru Daci guesthouse is located in Ocna Sugatau, Maramures county - Romania. From the moment you step beyond the large carved wooden gate in the specific Maramurese style, you will find yourself in a world where our grandparents lived. A very large yard with green grass and no paths invites you to graze it barefoot without shoes and to remember the time when you ran around in your grandparents' yard on the grass! For those who do not have these memories from their grandparents' yard, I gladly advise them to come here for a few days and try! The whole complex of houses is very carefully arranged, bringing elements of construction, decoration and execution from the traditional techniques of Maramures. The interiors are very beautiful and are decorated with carpets, tapestries, paintings specific to the Maramures area. Be speechless when you see these interiors! In the Manor there is a large living room with a fireplace and where you can relax with a glass of wine, stories and memories with your family or dear friends! Everything is well equipped technologically speaking, the internet is of high speed and the lights are extraordinary, both inside and outside. The bedrooms are very spacious and very nicely decorated. Outside or inside it is very clean. In the yard there is a special place set up for grilling and relaxing. The owners of the complex are very respectful and welcoming people! For those who want to try true relaxation and spend time with family or friends, La Patru Daci is the ideal place!
• Stuart (10/5): Fantastic location for exploring Maramures! - Absolutely fantastic and authentic stay. Central to all the major sites in Maramures. This is probably the best lodging in the area and the hosts were amazing, attentive and provided great local advice. It only opened recently, so recommend a visit before word of mouth gets out! Only very minor niggle was that the kitchen could have been slightly better equipped with some more utensils for cooking as not many restaurant options in the area.
