• Dale (10/5): Peaceful forest living - Great communication when my flight was rescheduled four hours later and driver checking in with me to make sure smooth meet up. Lovely family feel. Runs on island time so don't forget to slow down. The Alam arranged all my tours. Saw two types of monkey in the forest. Big walk to take in the rice paddies. I even volunteered to help the ladies plant rice on our walk around, so fun.Stop off at the snack shack then off to the waterfall. In the afternoon I did the big 4 waterfall tour and after spent time learning to weave. I cried the first sunset because the beauty of the area is so special with Rinjani in the background. No mosquitoes! Even with so much water rushing down the mountain everywhere. Very friendly and helpful.

• Emily (7/5): I would recommend this as a place to stay, just in a different room. - The location is beautiful and the staff were so lovely. They also helped me book a fantastic walking tour. The bungalow we stayed in could use some work. There were rats in the roof and we saw them come into in the bathroom and the room. The bathroom light wasn’t working and wifi was inconsistent.

The view from the room is so so beautiful. It is incredible the value for money in this place, so cheap for the amazing and fancy bungalow you get. Also amazing food would recommend eating there. They can organise great walking tours and waterfall trips for you. We loved our stay!!!! Nothing

• Nina Galfetti (9/5): Delizioso paradiso tra le risaie - Personale gentilissimo, camera piccola ma pulita e accogliente con una splendida vista su risaie e vulcano! Hanno anche un ottimo ristorante. Servirebbe forse qualche luce in più in stanza, ma particolarmente all'esterno perché la sera è piuttosto buio per rientrare (stanza nr.6). Wifi in camera non sempre ottimo.

Wij kwamen onvoorbereid aan in Tetebatu en ze hebben ons geholpen met alles: een tour, de hike. De kamers waren fantastisch en ook het restaurant was heeeeerlijk. En wat een lieve mensen werken daar. Als je naar Tetebatu gaat, zeker hier verblijven!! 10/10 Niks, alles wat goed!!!

• Mia (10/5): Best place in Tetebatu - Everything, but especially the food cooked by Lana 😍 The family that runs the place is amazing and always made sure everything’s perfect and that there’s no problem with the bungalow. What made the stay even better was that you could watch the prettiest sunrise while laying in bed. There also many activities organised, like walking, hiking or waterfall tours. That we had to leave :(

• jeffrey (10/5): 100% worth a visit: the views, the hospitality, the endless possibilities - THE VIEWS! What a beautiful location this is. In the middle of the rice fields and forest. Everything shows that the Alam team puts their heart in making the surroundings look so special. We had the honor of being the first guests to stay in the brand new deluxe bungalow. Waking up watching the sunrise over Rinjani Vulcano from the bed. Nice deck to enjoy the views from. Very good (and warm!) shower. Truely a great experience! 10/10 They arranged a pick up from Bangsal pier where we stopped at waterfalls (Benang kelambu) on the way to Tete Batu. 10/10 We also did the walking tour with the best guide ever. He took us deep into the rice fields, walking the narrow strips in between. Really cool experience. Our guide explained so much. Great way to learn and see how the village works. 10/10 Cooking class in their own kitchen was really fun. 10/10 And last: Very little mosquitos and a bit cooler temp compared to Gili Air. Didn’t bother us but keep in mind that there are 1000 mosques and a school close by so that is a big part of the soundscapes.

Je vous recommande le cours de cuisine et le walking T - Le Bungalow est propre et confortable avec une salle de bain spatieuse et très propre elle aussi. La vue est incroyable. Le restaurant est très bon et raisonnable au niveau des prix. Le personnel est adorable, on se croirait à la maison. La localisation est juste parfaite parce qu’on peut faire beaucoup de chose à pied.

• Mathieu (8/5): Perfect location - The location is beautiful! The view..! The staff is incredibly nice. Some of the bungalows have a fan. In the first night it was a bit warm. We had to sleep with the door open. On the second night it was really nice. Don’t forget your earplugs as the call to prayer is a bit loud starting at 4.30 (I think)

• Kiera (8/5): Perfect secluded spot! - Amazing value for money and the staff are all really really kind. Very nice if you are looking for somewhere secluded and off grid. Staff are willing make pretty much anything for you and even pick some things fresh from the garden! They have a few activities you can do for a good price. Sowohl die Hausherren als auch Danil von der Rezeption haben uns sehr familiär aufgenommen und super behandelt. Wir haben viel geredet und gelacht, obwohl wir nur 2 Tage (1 Nacht) gebucht haben. Preis-Leistung war ebenfalls unschlagbar. Vielleicht sieht man sich eines Tages noch einmal. Yas.

Daniel and Udin were fantastic hosts, they went above and beyond to be extremely friendly and funny. We cannot recommend the walking tour enough. The restaurant has some of the best food we have had in indonesia, we loved the tempe sambal. Cant recommend the Alam enough! Nothing
• Lisa (9/5): 100% Tetebatu Erfahrung - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch innerhalb von Reisterrassen. Da diese abgeschieden liegt, empfiehlt es sich vor Ort im Restaurant zu essen. Das Essen ist eine 10/10! Über die Unterkunft können Ausflüge gebucht werden. Die Walking Tour und die Villagetour kann man nur empfehlen - Udin hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und Zeit genommen einem die Gegend zu zeigen. Ohne Guide würde man nicht so tief in Tetebatu eintauchen können. Vor Ort kann man Hilfe bei der Weiterreise bekommen. Nichts :) Es sollte einem bewusst sein, dass man sehr abgelegen wohnt, was bedeutet, dass der Strom mal kurzzeitig weg sein kann, es tierischem Besuch im Zimmer geben kann (es gibt Moskitonetze) und das Wifi nicht immer Highspeed hat.
• Eduard (7/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - We enjoyed the great views from our balcony out over rice fields and trees towards Gunung Rinjani. The on-site restaurant was also handy. The steps up to our room were very large and steep. A hand rail would have made it safer.

They are always smiling, making jokes and doing everything they can to help. Thanks to them, this place feels so warm and unique. The views are beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and I felt really comfortable here. I highly recommend staying here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• rachelle (10/5): Extended our stay two days! - We loved everything about this place. The views of the Rice terraces are extraordinary, The food is wonderful. The guides for day trips are excellent. I appreciated the good air conditioning Even though the nights are cool enough for most people to just use the fan. Daniel who works at reception is endlessly cheerful and funny. Fuge is wonderful and helpful. All the staff was. Make sure you do a tour that includes the monkey forest, rice terraces, and waterfalls. Don't let anybody tell you you don't need a guide because you'll never find your way through the private farms and hidden swimming holes. (Ask for Basury as a guide. He was awesome!) We love this place so much we canceled our other plans and stayed longer. This is NOT a complaint, just FYI. Bring ear plugs if you don't want to be awaken by the call to prayer at 4:30 in the morning.

Nous avons profité d’une randonnée dans la forêt des singes, les rizières et les chutes d’eau en partant à pieds de l’hôtel avec un guide charmant. Les chambres sont très propres, les lits et les salles de bain sont confortables. Nous avions le bungalow familial et une chambre double, le bungalow a une jolie vue sur les rizières et les arbres. La cuisine est délicieuse, mention spéciale pour la soupe de bœuf hyper parfumée… Le personnel est charmant, et toujours prêt à rendre service. Le bruit de la mosquée qui est presque en continu, mais c’est totalement indépendant de l’hôtel
• Mika (9/5): Super, um schöne Natur zu erleben und zu relaxen. - Die Erfahrung in der Unterkunft war einfach nur unfassbar schön. Alleine der Weg hin und von der Unterkunft war pure Natur. Wir haben die Cooking Class gemacht und es war sehr besonders, da wir Einblicke in die indonesische Küche bekommen haben. Diese Rezepte bleiben ein Leben lang. Außerdem haben wir eine Tour zu den Reisfeldern, dem Wasserfall und dem Monkey Forest gemacht. Dies war ebenfalls sehr besonders. Unser Gehalt hat uns durch die coolsten Wege geleitet und die Natur war unbeschreiblich schön. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

• Katarzyna (10/5): - The very quiet and absolutely stunning location. Fantastic view. The best food I've had in Indonesia. Very kind and helpful staff, especially Daniel, he was funny, kind, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. But all the staff and the owners were great, also they have motorbike to rent which was great as this place is about 10 min slow drive from the village. Very comfortable bed. Excellent AC that I only used for short bits during the day, as the ceiling fan was more than enough to keep the room cool. Lovely wooden interior, nice design, fridge, kettle, cute terrace with comfortable furniture. It was very clean and tasteful. The waterfall is 7 min walk and the sunrise view of the Rinjani mountain form the rice fields, 2 min walk from the property is INSANE 🤯 Amazing place, 100% reccommend and I will come back when I'm next in the area 🙏🏼 The internet could be better but only becuase I'm working as im travelling. But the reception for my eSim was excellent so that's not really a big problem.

We extended from 3 days to 9 days. Views from rooms are incredible overlooking paddy fields. Great walk to waterfall not far away. Made to feel very welcome. Good peaceful stay in paradise. Thank you to Fuji, husband and family. The guide was really friendly, Uddin. Bendi and all the staff are really good. Missing the beef rendang already. Food is a reasonable price and lots of choice and delicious.😋 Thanks for letting me play your guitar. Village is so friendly. Cannot wait to come back already.

Le walking tour réservé à l’hôtel est génial et Udin qui nous a servi de guide est extraordinaire. La nourriture est très bonne et la famille qui gère l’établissement est très gentille. La vue de la chambre sur les rizières et le mont Rinjani le matin est à couper le souffle (toutes les chambres n’ont pas la vue) Le wifi qui saute régulièrement. Les chants de la mosquée peuvent déranger certaines personnes (ce n’est pas notre cas) donc prévoir des boules quies

• Emilia (9/5): Günstige, tolle Bungalows und super Essen - Wir haben drei Nächte dort übernachtet, und nach der zweiten Nacht vom billigen auf den mittleren Bungalow gewechselt, da diese eine schönere Aussicht hat. Der Bungalow ist extrem günstig, bietet aber eine tolle Aussicht und alles, was man braucht, auf kleiner Fläche. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und das Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker. Man läuft in wenigen Minuten zu vielen Restaurants und zum Wasserfall. Man kann dort Roller leihen und es werden auch diverse Touren angeboten. Das Restaurant war während dem Ramadan abends des Öfteren ohne Ankündigung geschlossen, auch am ersten Abend konnte uns vorerst niemand bei unserer Ankunft empfangen.

• Coral (9/5): Stunning view from my room - I liked the view from most of the property to the rice fields was stunning! If you want green, this place offers it. The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything, and food was also well priced and delicious. I liked also the cooking class (we made curry).the bed had to be one of the softest I've stayed on while travelling in Lombok, good quality linen too. I stayed in the smallest room and although I had no problems, I want to mention that there are narrow steep steps to go up to the bedroom, and toilet/shower is downstairs. Also, the location or the property is not on a main street so it is a 10 minute walk to other parts of town. This is a great property if you're looking for some me time. Also, the free breakfast is a banana pancake with fruit and coffee, so if you need anything else, you have to pay. Please note food is not gluten-free.

Les repas du restaurant étaient délicieux Nous avons fait trois activités que nous recommandons vivement : la cooking class, la sortie à Senaru et Sembalun (beaucoup de temps en voiture mais ça vaut la peine) et la sortie aux cascades Benang qui étaient impressionnantes Pas de wifi ou quasiment pas… mais on peut aussi y voir une façon de déconnecter

• Sofie (10/5): This has been the highlight of our trip - do yourself a favor and book this stay. You won’t regret! - These have been the most special and memorable days we’ve had during our entire time in Indonesia. Not only is the area incredibly peaceful, with uniquely beautiful scenery, but the hosts - Fuji, her husband, and their daughter - along with everyone involved, including Udin the guide, are among the most heartwarming, helpful, and inspiring people we’ve met. From the bottom of our heart, we cannot recommend this place enough. And the views from the rooms are simply incredible with directly view to the top of Mount Rinjani. AND please make sure to book for the cooking class taught by Fuji. She is the best at teaching and telling about the Indonesian food traditions .. not to mention the food at the restaurant which is the best we’ve had in Indonesia so far! We’ve attached a picture from the food we made in the cooking class. Really recommendable - also the guided walk with Udin and the village tour was amazing! .. and you can get free passion fruits from their garden !! Nothing to complain about!
• Fabian (10/5): Incredible views and fantastic room - This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in, in a very long time. We had the absolute best time at the Alam Bungalow. We stayed in the family room for two nights, and it was very modern, very clean, very spacious and had an incredible view of the rice and terraces and in the mornings also of mount Rinjani. Nani and the rest of the staff are very friendly, attentive and great cooks. All the meals we had were absolutely delicious. Would have loved to stay longer 🙏
• Maialen aginagalde (6/5): - The staff were nice and organised the tours in and around Tetebatu. The bungalow was basic but ok. The terrace had nice views, but during the rain, it got wet despite the ceiling. The breakfast was ok as well. The bathroom was private but on a different level, and the stairs were quite narrow, so it was not the most convenient during the night and in the rain. The shower didn't have hot water during the 2 nights we stayed there, even though we told the staff after the first night and they told us they would fix it.

Nous avons fait l’excursion avec un guide du personnel de l’hôtel pour les rizières, forêt des singes , cascade c’était hyper interessant et vraiment magnifique à voir. Le personnel et notamment le guide etait très agréable et à l’écoute de nos questions. Repas et petit déjeuner impeccables La proximité des mosquées est un peu compliquée pour le sommeil. La salle d’eau est un peu plus spartiate que ce qu’on trouve en ville mais on est en pleine naturelle donc ça passe

It is super close to the tours and we did the rice field, waterfall and monkey tour, it is all so local & you really feel like you’re having a traditional experience - thankyou to all the beautiful staff, you guys are great :) Nothing - this place is incredible. • Becky (9/5): Incredible location and views, surrounded by paddy fields and very welcoming. - Incredible stay and location - views from the bungalows were amazing and right next to the paddy fields with one waterfall only a 10 minute walk away. We had an amazing tour of the local village, paddy fields and surrounding jungle, waterfall further away with Udin (straight from Homestay) who was so friendly and kind and explained everything very well. Food great and family so welcoming. We loved our stay - thank you! Bring ear plugs for the call to prayer at 4am!

• Tilana (7/5): Back to basic met waanzinnig uitzicht - Het uitzicht vanuit de bungalow is werkelijk prachtig! De zon zien opkomen vanaf het zitje is heel mooi. Personeel is onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam en in het restaurant kun je erg lekker eten (wij aten er ook lunch en diner). De walking tour is een absolute aanrader, heel erg leuk! Voor een of twee nachtjes een leuke ervaring. De bungalow is erg klein voor twee personen en echt basic. De spleten in de vloer vonden wij wat spannend. Wij hadden in het geheel iets meer comfort verwacht, maar voor de prijs kun je dat ook eigenlijk niet verwachten. De locatie is helaas net wat ver van alles af, je kunt het beste een scooter hebben.
• Johannes (7/5): Leider nicht ganz wie erwartet. - Der Ausblick ist super, das Personal ist nett und bemüht. Die Zimmer sind groß und die Betten bequem. Zimmer mit schöner Terrasse. Reisfeld und monkeyforesttour. Faktisch kein WiFi, da sich nicht Mal einfachste Webseiten aufbauen. Personal ist sehr jung und unerfahren. Toilettenpapier musste erst angefragt werden und wurde dann erst per Roller geholt. Badezimmer hat an zwei Seiten Fenster ohne Vorhang etc., das heißt es können Leute vom Weg zu den Reisfeldern a uf der Toilette und in der Dusche zugucken. Mehrmals Tierkot auf dem Boden (entweder Gecko oder Maus/Ratte). Ratte im Restaurantbereich. Das schlimmste von allem, wofür die Unterkunft nichts kann, aber trotzdem erwähnt werden muss, sind die andauernden sehr lauten Lautsprecher der Moscheen und von einer Schule, teilweise auch mit "Musik". Schlafen selbst mit Ohropax nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich.Die eigentlich gesuchte Ruhe und Entspannung konnte leider nicht gefunden werden.
