Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): Relaxed, peaceful a very pleasurable stay. - The whole experience staying at the hide away was a relaxed pleasure.
From being welcomed with an open fire on arrival to the views and peace and quiet of area and a wonderful local town with everything I needed including a mobile fishmonger couldn’t ask for anything more and will definitely be staying again. There was nothing to dislike.
- Cliona (10/5): Lovely cosy autumn stay! - They had lit the fire before we came so it was lovely and warm for our arrival
- PJ (10/5): Glenties adventures - Very Cosy little place Ciara the Host had the fire Blazing we will definitely be back for longer stay The bed was very hard , and crack a window at night as it was roasting...

- Isobel (10/5): Cosied up during Storm Amy - The Hideaway is so cost and welcoming and Ciara is the perfect host, ready to go the extra mile. We couldn't think of a better place to spend the night of Storm Amy, in front of a lot fire when the electricity went out.
- kieran (8/5): Second time staying here, quirky wee place but ideal for what we needed, the fire in the room is great, the smell of log - Location ideal as a base for touring around
- David (8/5): - Open plan living near the N56. Accomodation clean, equipped for basic meals. Very quiet. Comfortable bed
Perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the beautiful area. Ciara, perfect host friendly with helpful advice even showed us the ringfort behind accommodation. Would definitely return. Air fryer would be helpful.

- Hans (8/5): Very good - The house with kitchen, living/sleeproom and bathroom. Arround the house was not any comfortabel please to relax outside.
- Curran (10/5): 10/10 beautiful little place to stay. the main town only 5 minutes down the road would highly recommend!! - It was a beautiful little cabin, very clean and Ciara was a lovely host who was very easy to contact with any enquiries.

- Jean (10/5): quite a pleasant place, and a very nice host -
- Louise (10/5): Brilliant location, great value for money - Door was opened as I messaged Ciara to let her know wat time we were arriving at It was great and will rebook for next year to go to see my son at the Gaeltacht again
- Susan (3/5): Poor - The kitchen was a good size and had everything u cud need and the shower room was as expected. It was very cold when we arrived . There was an electric heater and a stove which when lit was quite cosy. It was advertised as having a large double bed so we were very disappointed to discover it was actually a sofa bed with 4 mattress covers instead of an actual mattress ( not comfortable) . We also felt the bedroom/ dining area was quite cluttered .

There's everything you need! Probably one of the best stays while touring for more than 2 weeks through Ireland!

The place is very cozy, with a well-thought-out decoration and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts' attention was excellent, always attentive and ready to help. Without a doubt, we will return on our next visit. Highly recommended!" Everything was amazing during our stay. We couldn't find a single negative aspect—everything was just perfect. From the comfort of the apartment to the great service, it truly exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home and had a fantastic experience overall
- Chris (10/5): Great location to explore Donegal. If you want somewhere quiet and snug - this is for you. - It’s a really snug little hide away. Everything set for a short stay with a little log burner to keep you warm. It’s perfect if you just want a bed to rest in after a day walking and exploring. Just big enough for 2 and you can cook if you want to. Small but snug. All set up and clean.
- Alleycat2 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Indrė (10/5): Exceptional - It's absolutely lovely and a cosy place, well worth money, excellent location, place itself separated from main house, private little house with all kitchen supplies, very spacious. Fire place is a great bonus, kept place tosty warm.
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - Ciara was a fabulous host. The place was beautiful and cosy. We will definitely be back
