- John (8/5): - Apartment was good located in a great town and very clean Unfortunately, the bed was not good was very low to the ground especially for people with disabilities pillows was very hard. Needs a much better mattress

- Margaret (8/5): Enjoyed our stay and the flat was very nice. Had everything we needed. - Location was very good. Beds were very comfy and linen clean and fresh. Would have been good to use outside space especially as the weather was very good. Didn't like the shower. Couldn't work it very well
- Stephen (10/5): Really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. -
- Robert (10/5): - Perfect for our needs, could have made the place our own.
- denise (8/5): - Place very clean, everything you need. Short walk to the beach and town minutes away, pub right next to, places to eat to hand also. Boiler noisy and in bedroom cupboard
- jody (10/5): Had a great time plenty of walks around and lots of other places to visit close by - Very clean had everything I needed and close to shops food places Can’t think of anything to complain about
- Floydian (10/5): - The first thing to grab our attention was how clean and tidy the apartment was.
Also ,thoughtfully, Alison had left milk coffee and some chocolate biscuits, as well as plenty toilet rolls (something that past apartments don't supply as much - maybe 1 or 2.
Alison was always quick to respond to any questions, not that anything was lacking, or went wrong.
Heating ,WiFi code etc were all clearly marked out.
Bed and pillows were also comfortable.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to book an extended stay , but the apartment was already pre-booked.
Definitely one of our top stays and highly recommend this cosy little gem which is central to everything you could possibly need ,with train station only 5 minutes walk away.
10 out of 10. No dislikes
- karen (6/5): - The location was perfect for the centre of town.
Plenty restaurants, shops , transport links close by aswell.
- Jones (9/5): - The location was ideal close to the shops buses and the train station No complaints
- Angela (6/5): I liked the property. If there were a better mattress, I would consider staying again. - There was no breakfast! The bed was horrible, the platform part of frame has metal bars that stick up into your legs when you sit on the bed. The matress is so thin, you can feel the frame/boards underneath. The place was only surface clean, and the floor was absolutely fithly. Made our feet black within an hour of having shoes off
But the management did give me a small percentage back on property.
- Louise (9/5): Lovely largs - Arrived and there was very strong smell of marijuana ,weed in close, accomodation was very clean and tidy, very thoughtful leaving milk tea coffee, , on our first night we went to take dog out late at night and left keys and our phones in flat and locked ourselves out, had call locksmith and pay him, 🫢
Be back in largs again in 2 weeks although staying in Hollywood flat as will have my father with me who has dementia and likes look at sea, holiday a few times a year in largs and actually thinking about moving here. The bed is very creaky and uncomfortable
- shaune (10/5): Great apartment. - The apartment was lovely and immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Brightly decorated, nice and fresh. Location for largs seafront just a block away. Parking was a bit of a pain but we did find somewhere up the road and wherever there was a gap 😆
- Aileen (10/5): - Spotless, everything just perfect and all the things that were needed. Excellent wee location, lovely communication. Xx Nothing!
- Frew (7/5): - Small but comfortable Broken glass at back door
- Kelly (7/5): -
- Linda (9/5): - The apartment was suitable for our needs for a few days. Very clean, well furnished and kitted out. Difficulty with parking.
- O'Rourke (10/5): - Location was fantastic, flat was spotless and very comfortable
- Barlow (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Very pleasant time Nothing at all. We keep coming back
- Marah (9/5): Really enjoyable and the weather was great x - Location and cleanliness The only thing was the bed for us as pensioners the bed was too low other than that it was really nice the only thing stopping us coming back was my husband found the bed not suitable for him
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Good location and easy walking to everything. Private parking was not available as an option but there was free space around the streets.
- Paul (10/5): Cosy - Great we flat. Absolutely spotless. So cosy & everything you need.
- Paul (10/5): Alison is a fantastic host! - Clean, tidy and very central for Largs Nothing
- Marina (9/5): Superb - Good location. Warm and comfortable. Well equipped
- Riccardo (8/5): Very good -
- Khairubahri (9/5): A relaxing stay leaving me recharged - Great location: 10 minutes from the town shops/train station; a stone's throw away from a Chinese takeaway, if you fancy it, or the Farmfoods; 10 - 12 minutes' walk for the big Morrisons. The place is comfortable, with own access to heating. Great wee kitchen.
Quiet area allows a restful sleep. During the stay, I could only find one large bread knife for use. A utility or even a chef's knife may be of more use.
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Well equipped and comfortable N/a
- Ellen (8/5): Very good - The beautifully clean flat is perfect for location to all town facilities, also buses and trains. Perfect for a couple with no back issues or other disabilities. The owner was extremely kind and allowed us early access. This is the flat to choose, if you don't have any back health issues Unfortunately, as my Husband and I have physical disabilities, we found the beautiful living room furniture far too low to sit on. Also the bed could have been a lot higher for our disabilities. We werent happy that the Central Heating pump, in bedroom, ran all of the time. Weather was rather cold, so central heating was on. The radiators were sufficient to keep the flat reasonably warm, but the boiler is extremely noisy on start up, giving a large 'pop' when the flame ignited. And then the boiler went off after approx 8 seconds (we know as we counted the time! During the night). We do understand that it is really difficult to make a boiler totally silent. Also don't like the idea of the boiler being in the bedroom Area. Also the duvet wasn't big enough. Most unfortunately, this flat doesn't suit us, because of health issues. But it is a beautiful, well positioned flat. And really good value.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - Great little place, close to all the amenities, had everything you need for self catering, very clean, had a small problem with the toilet handle owner was out within ten minutes and was fixed great service Bed was a little creaky would prefer it a little bigger but that's just what we're used too
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Although small, the amenities were carefully thought out. Everything you need for a short stay was provided. Very clean and practical. The bed could be replaced with a more modern type.
- Dorothy (7/5): Good -
- Douglas (7/5): Largs weekend break - Good location, parking around the corner, pub over the road and only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the seafront ,ferry and town centre. Very squeaky bed, location of the fridge and the toilet flush not to good in operation
- Margaret (5/5): Passable - Flat was in a central place It was very noisy, we had a issue with the plumbing but host was with us withinb15mins and got is another flat to stay in, the host couldnt do enough for us, he helped us pack our stuff up took it to the other flat then proceeded to give us money to get a lunch for the inconvience we had had, very nice man
- James (8/5): We were there for the Open. Great location and apartment was nice. Living room was big and comfortable. - Great location. All the amenities we needed. Small but very adequate kitchen and bath. Nice instant on shower water.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was lovely spotless clean. Very cozy and spacious with everything we needed. Had great sleep at night. Close to everything in the town. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again 🙂 Can't say anything bad. Very friendly place to stay.

- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iirene (10/5): Had everything we needed for a short break and would definitely go back, wish there was more bedrooms as I would bring m - The property was spotless, in a great location and ground floor so suitable for a wheelchair Nothing
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very location although we did have to park around the corner. The apartment was very clean and Alison left us milk, tea and coffee for when we arrived.
- Aye (10/5): Exceptional - Yes Yes
- Paul (8/5): Cosy place - Great location. Cosy flat & very clean. Nothing
- Fairhurst (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Very comfortable, handy for all amenities. - Easy access, very comfortable and attractively presented throughout, good lighting. Milk was provided, which was lovely for a cuppa after a long journey. Handy for a visit to Nardini's! Good access to the town and esplanade.
- Dawson (10/5): May mini break - The flat was very clean and comfortable. The location of the property was excellent. I can't say there was anything I didn't like
- Lesley (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Lovely place to stay , felt very homely. Crisp fresh bedding; fluffy towels ,fresh milk on arrival was a nice idea. Would definitely stay again
- T (10/5): Lovely wee stay - Location It was all good for the price
- Frederick (10/5): Will never be disappointed amazing lovely wee flat. - Location was great we certainly. Be back to this accomodation We liked everything location was great flat had everything we needed for our stay.
- Angela (8/5): Over all the flat is great value and fabulous location - Only problem with the flat was the toilet flush handle which was difficult to use.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Great clean flat and a great location near nardini the shore and very close to the great sharps pub perfect all round loved it Nothibg
- Blair (7/5): Good - Apartment was excellent, nice to have extra touches like washing up liquid/cloths, toilet rolls, coffee/tea. Very clean and everything we needed. Location was also good, close to shops/bars/restaurants. Communal entrance, as door banging at all times of the night, with lots of people coming and going - particularly to the flat opposite. Would have preferred a more secure entry into the building and would have not liked to have stayed on my own.
- Vicki (6/5): Pleasant - Flat was lovely.. everything you needed was provided...very close to seafront and a little town.. maybe more leaflets for tourist sites could be provided... Communal front door slammed often and comings and goings through the night, very disturbing.. marijuana smell in main hallway not pleasant...unfortunate really as flat was lovely.. outside the flat was not nice....
- Christine (8/5): Perfect location for what we were there for. - Really appreciated the washing up liquid, cloths and tea towel. Just a suggestion… maybe elevate the fridge for easier access and take the door of that cupboard off.
- Paul (10/5): Thanks guys! Made my 50th birthday celebrations one to remember! - Great location very handy for the town. N/A
- Heather (8/5): Very good -
- Vic (10/5): Well worth the money & liked that property was within walking distance of the town, train station - The property was exceptionally clean & tidy & in a good location & within short walking distance from the town & seafront.
I would definitely stay here again for longer , excellent value for money .
Great hosts Nothing everything was just perfect
- Veronica (9/5): Superb - Lovely well equipped apartment, don't let outside of property put you off.
Very comfortable with personal touches, making it feel very homely.
Great Internet and free view TV for the rainy times
Well situated for exploring the Isles of the Clyde by bus boat and car Parking was a bit of an issues depending on time of day as situated in busy street just of the main highstreet .
- Patricia (9/5): Very comfortable. Would stay again - Comfortable flat. Clean. In a good location The kitchen is very tiny but it did to make breakfasts and ready meals. Not that I cook on holiday anyway.
- Barlow (10/5): A great week - The flat was immaculate, with everything needed for a weeks stay, very carefully thought out. It was comfortable and very close to the sea front. First impression of the outside was not too great, but this was speedily altered by the very nice interior.
- Katharine (5/5): Annoyed. Had to spend far more money on food than I'd budgeted for re poorly equipped kitchen - The location was handy for shops, restaurants and sea front. The property was clean and nicely furnished. The shower had decent pressure of hot water and the central heating worked. Owner was not available when I had issues finding/getting into the property. Left 2 voicemails and a message before I got a response from the property manager. (NB. I arrived at the time I said I would) Not suitable for proper self catering, Kitchen not equipped well. No large saucepan or regular size frying pan. No measuring jug, cheese grater, mixing bowl or chopping board (except a bread board) or any oven/microwave cookware. There's an empty cupboard in the living room that the crockery could have been stored in to make room for these. There's an unnecessary washing machine in the kitchen, that means that the small fridge is across the corridor in a cupboard. No games/cards/leaflets on what to do in the area. Instructions from owner are to separate rubbish for re-cycling but only 2 very small inside bins are provided for 4 categories of waste. "Hillview" is a very misleading title - the main view from the bedroom window is dozens of dustbins surrounding a patch of grass. Front room windows are too high to open by anyone under 6 feet tall. There's a security issue in opening the bedroom window, as it opens very wide , with no restrictor, and the back yard is openly accessible for anyone to walk in off the street and easily enter the apartment through it. As a single female traveller, I was not comfortable with leaving the window open to sleep at night.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - It was as described and the photos were a true likeness. Lovely and clean. Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Brisbane - Fantastic location.
