Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): Comfortable and smart apartment, great contact from Monica - Lovely apartment & great lock
- Ellen (10/5): Quiet, comfortable and spacious apartment with great access to Rome. - Spacious, clean and well priced. Monica, the lister, was easy to communicate with, quick to respond and very pleasant. Nothing
- Csilla (10/5): Wonderful place – spotless and great value for money - The neighborhood is stunning, with a beautiful park just a few meters away and another nearby park offering a great panoramic view of the city. The house/apartment is very clean, quiet, and excellently equipped. The main attractions are about a 30-minute walk from the location. If I come to Rome again, I will stay here.
- Mila (10/5): Препоръчвам - Прекрасна градина, спокойно и просторно жилище, двете бани спестяват време, когато сте група. Бих отседнала там и когато посетя града със семейството си. Нищо толкова важно
- Elizabeth (10/5): Felt like home - Central to the sights of Italy, roomy and comfortable
- Patrice (9/5): We liked Trastevere very much and we’re glad we stayed there. - We liked the spacious living areas.
Both bedrooms were a good size.
Bathrooms were nice and we had hot water for all showers!
The hostess was great. We needed an ironing board and she got us one right away.
Towels were large and soft.
Beds were comfortable. Location. Had to taxi back to apartment every night….A long uphill climb.
There was a strange smell in the apartment when you walk in and the smell stayed on my clothes even after we left.
The A/C in the first bedroom smelled bad…we could not use it. Bathroom toilet in larger bathroom had to be pumped many times for it to work.
The washer/dryer was VERY difficult to use. It did not dry our clothes. We ended up drying items on the drying rack, using the fan to dry them.

- Dennis (9/5): Tolles Apartment in schöner Umgebung - Sehr gut ausgestattetes Apartment in schöner Lage. Mit dem Bus sind wir überall hingekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem der Kontakt zu Monica war sehr hilfreich.

- TishAnn (10/5): Unbeatable location, very helpful hosts - Great location - a few minutes from all the main tourist attractions

- Jessica (8/5): Super comfortable and clean apartment with all amenities needed! - Exactly as in the pictures! Very comfortable and spacious for 4 people with all amenities needed. Monica was a pleasure to speak to and made sure we had all we needed at all times. Beds were super comfortable! Definitely recommend! We were travelling with a toddler plus stroller, so just a note for those in a similar same situation: the property is a short walk from Trastevere bars and restaurants BUT please bare in mind that there are 121 steps to reach the neighbourhood center - obviously not a problem for those who are fit to do so, and not a fault of the property at all, just want people to understand that there is this small impediment in case you are not able to keep going up/down these steps every day. Alternative is to get a taxi down to the restaurants, but this costs approx. 10 euros each way. Just something to take into consideration. (Note: you can also avoid the steps by walking around and downhill, which takes a little longer, but still some uphill climb to do on the way back ;)
- Addi (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (10/5): Excellent! Will visit again - Clean, comfortable and fan-tas-tic location to explore Rome by foot. Trastevere in my view is the best neighborhood to stay - outside tourist explosion, authentic, but very close to all you want to see. Monica is super kind, helpful and responsive. I love to stay again
- Denise (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. -
- Nathalia (9/5): Spacious and bright clean space, with everything you need to have happy days close to one of the mos historic and beauti - Spacious, bright clean and a hostess absolutely responsive and lovely. It’s very close to Trastevere, however you have to climb an important amount of stairs at Scalea del Tamburino to arrive to the apartment. Just to take into account, but nothing to worry about.
- Appelcryn (9/5): Very Good size and Neat and Clean - The size of this apartment was very good and we had two rooms, a big lounge and Kitchen. The unit had a washing machine with detergents which was a bonus when traveling from abroad. The unit was really comfortable for our family of 4.
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Excellent location. Beautiful garden area. Great kitchen and very comfortable. Monica was very helpful.
- Robin (8/5): Very good - The beds were insanely comfy, was a really great mattress. Check-in/out was really easy with the lockbox (though I was a little too short to reach it 😅). Monica was very communicative and friendly and Trastevere is a lovely area. Was just missing a few small touches to make it a little bit more comfortable (bin bags, proper soap etc.), when looking for this in some drawers/cupboards then some things were a little broken (eg. handle came off the drawer). It is also located on a bit of a hill, which one way has a lot of stairs - just to bear in mind if you're travelling with less mobile people.
- Rasiel (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious place in a wonderful location 👌
- Dianne (10/5): I would definitely return - The apartment was spacious and had a beautiful garden courtyard for our private use
Our host Monica was very responsive to our questions and arranged transport to the airport for us on our departure
When we didn’t feel like walking, we used local bus and tram services to travel to city and restaurants, and supermarket - services regular and well priced
Neighbourhood of apartment leafy and quiet
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing we love Rome! - The garden was beautiful. The rooms were spacious. The kitchen was a dream.. it was the perfect spot for a family vacation! walking down the steep steps to the center of town was a challenge for folks who are elderly
- Sarah (9/5): Bravo!!! Lovely first Rome visit and comfortable place to stay 😁 - Clean, cute and great area of Rome! Nothing, it was great!
- Steven (9/5): Would recommend to others and certainly return ourselves. -
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beatrice (10/5): Exceptional - location, the garden -
- Elaine (9/5): Lovely apartment and great host - The apartment was lovely. Very modern and comfortable inside.
Was great having a private garden space.
And it was very quiet in the apartment considering it is in a built up area.
Any queries were easily and swiftly dealt with by Monica.
There is a lovely square with lots of bars and restaurants less than 10 mins walk away.
For the price this was a great choice of accommodation and I would recommend it. Just a minor point that British tourists like their tea so a small kettle would have been ideal!
This is just me being picky. The apartment had everything else you could need.
Bear in mind that the apartment is in a suburban area and a good walk from the main attractions.
We found taxis were required to get to the vatican , colosseum etc however I would still recommend staying in this area rather than in the centre of the city.
