- Goli17 (8/5): - The staff are very kind and helpful. The location is ok, you need anyway to take tuk tuk or taxi to get around. It's a good choice for a short stay. The ringing bell of entrance was too loud, I could hear it in the middle of night at my room when people were getting back to the hostel.

- Lola Mulandi (9/5): Ease of accessibility. - The location is literally mid Dar so it is easily accessible to most tourist attractions, the CBD, the beaches and the ferry. We got a room that was big. Breakfast was awesome and we also got to interact with other backpackers from all over the world.

Und es ist nicht so groß und ebenerdig gerade wenn man schweres Gepäck hat. In großen und ganzen war alles ok Dadurch das wir das dritte mal da waren merkt man den Verschleiß. Und ich hatte ein 14 Quadratmeter Zimmer gebucht, habe aber ein viel kleineres bekommen

The breakfast was also good and the environment as well. The fact that's there's no milk in the tea/coffee and the fact that it's the same breakfast everyday. Perhaps a change could be better

Nos habíamos alojado días atrás en el otro L&J de los mismos dueños. Nos gustó más el trato de este. Además no tiene una mezquita cerca que te despierta con sus llamados al rezo. Cerca del alojamiento hay muchos servicios. Cocina bien equipada para cocinar. Nada más se puede pedir por su precio. Estamos hablando de un alojamiento básico y barato.

When I mentioned it the staff sprayed some insecticide, and it was okay for a day, but then the next day there were more cockroaches. I ended up leaving a day early. Nice filling breakfast, and more importantly, very very helpful staff they kept my bag after checkout and let me shower, asante !!!

- Rebecca Louise (4/5): Dissapointing considering how good the reviews are. - Clean facilities and rooms. Unhelpful staff, bordeline rude. Not informed about not being able to pay by card before I was already at the hostel. I knew they had a parner hotel close by and asked if they could get a card machine from there. I was then told that I could pay for the transport to get the cardmachine if I wanted to pay by card. After a bit of back and forth and me having to be quite stern, they got the card machine to me without charging me.

- Úna (10/5): Great budget stay with hot water!! - One of the best hostels in Dar for constant hot water. Water pressure is also great. Breakfast is simple but good. Rooms are spacious and bed cosy. Very secure with a super friendly night guard. Property is always locked and you have to ring the doorbell to get in. Doorbell to get into the property is super loud and can be hear at times in the middle of the night.

- Bilen (1/5): Research the price beforehand, because prices vary. - The prices are quite high for Booking.com customers, but the prices for those arriving without a reservation are half that. There's a huge price imbalance. I felt ripped off. I didn't like the price instability.

No vas a encontrar mejor relación calidad/precio en Dar es Salaam. Está un poco lejos de los lugares interesantes de Dar es Salaam. Pero puedes ir en tuktuk por 2€.

Really can’t beat a deal like this in Dar. The staff helped us grab a taxi to the ferry terminal when we were having trouble with the Bolt app. We were able to make our ferry thanks to him. The internet is a little weak inside the rooms and we had trouble connecting.

- Sally (10/5): A wonderful option for budget travellers - This is a great option if you are on a budget and are looking for a good-value, safe, comfortable and friendly place to stay in Dar. We arrived late at night without any issues. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice, it was easy to get an Uber/Bolt from there and it felt within easy reach of the things we wanted to see.

A beautiful friendship was born that is why I decided to return a second face after the Safari , Cosmas is a Wikipedia know it all , he is from a tribe in that area and it was interesting to be with him around because he showed me so many things . This accommodation is home and family , if you are looking for that I recommend you go to them .

The outdoor seating area was the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning meal. I enjoyed everything. I'm thinking a chair for the desk in the bedroom would have been nice, however.

- Sorina (10/5): It is what you pay for - The room was big, bathroom was big and lockers in the room. Breakfast was also good. In the evening I arrived the electricity was off so someone came with me out of the hostel to buy food. I really appreciated it. I had a top bed and the AC was just there so I had to close it for the night because otherwise it was blowing just towards me. So the Fan was faster, much noise. In the morning, one of the guys working there came in the room at 7 am, made noise when opening the door and turned on the whole light and asked loudly why the AC is switched off. I was sleeping, as I was on holiday and not necessarily needed to wake up at 7 am just like in the army style. I really didn’t like this situation and I hope the guy will be more careful in the future, because the way he entered the room and turned on the light and everything was not very guest friendly.
