Guest Reviews
- Dimitris_Corfu_Greece (8/5): Μια θαυμάσια και άνετη διαμονή στην Ζάκυνθο - A wonderful and comfortable stay in Zakynthos ! ! ! - Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό. Το πρωινό ήταν υπέροχο και ισορροπημένο. Παρά πολύ εύκολο check-in και check-out.
The room was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and balanced. Very easy check-in and check-out. Lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and a supermarket in the area. Good value for money. We had a great time. I highly recommend it!!! Τίποτα. Περάσαμε πραγματικά υπέροχα !!!
Nothing. We really had a great time !!!
- Ivano (9/5): Fantastico!!
Rapporto qualità-pezzo ottima.
Consiglio vivamente. Aggiungerei più scelta di colazione dolce

great location and view of the beech
maria goes above and beyond to help her clients and all staff were very friendly

- Soňa (10/5): - Pekné prostredie, izby čisté každý deň výmena uterákov a každý druhý deň výmena posteľnej bielizne ,strava výborna, personál priateľsky a vždy ochotnyý poradiť. Trošku slabšia wifi a hlučná chladnička.
- sarahs927 (2/5): Withholding return of security deposit - The hotel was clean but basic. When we checked out we were promised that our €100 security deposit would be returned within a month, now it has been more than a month and there is no sign of it. We left the room as we found it, and actually had to go to reception twice to report an issue with ants in the room. I have contacted the hotel directly and no response

- debbiefI8361FH (6/5): Shocking not what is on the jet 2 site when booking, very let downfamily of 6 travelling and put at different parts of the appart - 114 duros before even shown to our room,no food on arrival had been travelling all day,10 euros a night for air con ,12 for wifi, food very much the same everyday, also cold never hot,no cocktails in the all inclusive package, came for my daughters 21st birthday,it days 20mins to laganas strip walking more like 45 onlong a busy road,so taxi along costing 20 euros each time,we made it a hoilday and ate out most nights at an extra cost,
No plug either in the sink,no tv as no signal,i really think jet 2 need to look into there description of these appartments,
Weather was lovely 32° every day,
We went turtle spotting and to banana beach which we really enjoyed, would i stay again,no thank you on departure day we had to be out our rooms by 11am and our all inclusive stopped theneven though we wernt getting picked up till 5.30pm,

- Banksy97 (2/5): Terrible hotel - The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
10 euro per day for air con, weather is 31 degrees.
12 euro for WiFi each device.
No entertainment.

- nicholas (6/5): It was ok. - It was affordable. We were a family of 5. There was only 2 cups, 3 forks, 2 knives. 1 bowl, 2 plates…..
The hob took half an hour to boil some water.
And no bin.
Numerous items were damaged (drawers, toilet seat, balcony chair), all of which were reported to the hotel, but no repairs were forthcoming.
These are simple things to sort out.
Also, there is a bus service outside the hotel, however, it is pretty intermittent so you’ll end up walking the 1.5 miles into Laganas beach (the taxis are very expensive).

- chelseawI9713OF (4/5): An honest review - I am unsure as to whether loveholidays falsely advertised village inn or whether village inn were in the wrong. Upon arriving, I noticed the pool looked at least half the size when compared to photos on top of that, we had to wait a good hour to be checked in (it could have been longer) so I let the kids get changed into their costumes for a splash as it was extremely hot. The aircon for the family room was €13 a day which didnt effect the room upstairs, wifi was €12 per device, you had to pay a €100 deposit, which you get back at the end. Once we were shown to our room I realised we had a tiny fridge with a freezer drawer, an overused hob and utensils. It was clean and the balcony overlooked the mountains (providing a wonderful sunset and even though the fires were disastrous there was something fascinating with it) and pool area. One day we were only supplied with 2 towels for a family of 5! The pool was always busy with young adults play fighting, kids throwing balls from one end to the other or booting the ball whilst jumping in often landing on people sunbathing. The pool area really let the hotel down. I did not anticipate the loudness during the night, next door to our room were a group of boys on a lads holiday that ended with a loud argument, spewing into a fight. Not great when you have young children petrified, however as quick as it started was as quick as it ended and loud singing at 1.30am erupted.
The bar staff were really nice and friendly, often engaging in conversations as well as the maids always asking how we were and said good morning. The food at the bar was good, as a person with coeliac, I struggled and could only have chips which was a common theme throughout the island itself. The upside is that there are a lot of sunbeds and absolutely no need to reserve any beds, there were always free beds throughout the day. The staff are what make the hotel, if it was more modern, or even the photos being a true representation, I'm sure it would be a wonderful hotel. The photos show the modern rooms in the block closest to the reception.
- rainej2013 (4/5): Waste of money, over charging for less than basic facilities - Horrendous!
The pool depicted is not the actual size of the pool, its half that size in length at least. At the deepest part its 1.04m...its a childs pool. Because its so small, its full of people throwing balls hard, rubber rings, lilos and Bombing...Groups of young guys enter the pool and immediately want to fight, splashing around. Laying in the sun, constantly getting hit with footballs, splashed as the ball hits the water as it wasnt caught!! Absolutely no pool rules apart from 'No diving'
Self catering hmmm... I had a kettle that didnt switch it self off as broken, so overheated to the point it burns your hand, you literally had to be there to turn it off once boiled. 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 of each knives forks and spoons, 1 teaspoon. Saucepans for cooking, yet no oven OR hob. Not even a toaster!
Pillows are hard, extremely hard to the point they hurt my neck.
Never have I been abroad and had to pay €10 per night for air conditioning!!
My niece had 5 people in her apartment, but also only 2 plates. 2 towels for 2 people to use in shower, not a set for eat person.
She did have a hob under the sink, but disgustingly dirty as were the saucepans.
The photos to attract you into booking this complex are false...
Avoid at all costs
- 108nicholah (8/5): It’s a 3* and it’s lovely. - We’ve had a fab holiday as a family of 5. I feel like after reading the reviews we were at a different hotel! It’s a 3* not a 5* so the food isn’t Michelin rated and that’s what you pay for. We had the fires and all the staff dealt with it amazingly and just kept smiling. Our kids are fussy but they had cereal and toast in the morning and lively watermelon. Some foods a little cold but there’s a microwave so not the end of the world! It’s a mega walk to the strip but it was a dump anyway so went to other resorts which were absolutely beautiful. Please don’t be put off as we’ve just had the most amazing week away.
- Shafikova (8/5): - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- MairiM53 (8/5): Village inn Zante - Hotel is dated but clean, food is repetitive but there is always something to tide you over. Be prepared when you arrive to pay €100 security deposit as well as €70 for air conditioning,€12 for WiFi and €15 for safe. This hotel is at the top of the Main Street with a good 20-30 minute walk on the craziest road to the main shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly, the area was stunning, we enjoyed our stay.
- Leonardo (2/5): - la signora delle pulizie che ogni giorno portava gli asciugamani nuovi tutto, la struttura in sé per sé non era abbastanza grande e in più non era pulita
- 767ellise (4/5): Decent - On fist arrival the hotel looked like a great, budget place to stay. Be prepared to pay for an extra bed/upgraded room if you have 3 people in one room. We arrived in our room to find only 2 beds. After speaking to staff we was told we would need to pay €120 extra for another room (€20 per night). WiFi was €12 each, which didn’t reach our rooms, service isn’t great in the rooms only in and around the lobby did it work. Staff are friendly. Food was good quality, i would say all inclusive in this hotel isn’t worth it unless you’re staying 10+ nights as the drinks you are limited to is about 5 spirits and 1/3 of a pint each order. Cocktails aren’t included with the all inclusive. It is quite a walk to the main strip (roughly 25-30 minutes). I would recommend not using the air on as it gave us sore throats and coughs after the first night. But overall I would say it’s ‘liveable’ but would recommend other hotels in nearby area
- llior2025 (2/5): Avoid - Try to charge you for everything, €10 euro a night for aircon is a joke, mouldy food, Staff were not happy to be there at all
- 254alawh (2/5): Absolutely Disgraceful Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs - If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The receptionist was completely out of line — she had the audacity to raise her voice at me and my friends over a 20-euro charge that we had already sorted out directly with the manager. The boss clearly told us we didn’t have to pay it, yet this rude receptionist insisted we were lying and even tried to kick us out! Unbelievably unprofessional and hostile behavior. I’ve never been treated so poorly in any hotel.
And don’t even get me started on the food. It was absolutely disgusting. We found MOLD in our jelly — yes, actual mold. That alone should shut down a kitchen. Clearly, hygiene is not a priority here.
This hotel is a joke. Between the aggressive staff and the filthy food, I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Spend your money somewhere else where they actually respect their guests and know how to run a proper establishment.
Only good thing-Pablo the night guard was a absolute legend
- C9500HVbrendanw (10/5): balcs - mmm balcs, I love balcs because its a great view, fun with friends and beers if you get my jist. #lads #fyp. #zante #jeeting.
- DayTrip22550057029 (2/5): Don't waste your money - Returned home over a week. Every time i come to complete review, i just become more and more upset. What a waste of money. I hope people don't think this is what zante is like.
My hubby had to sleep upside-down on the bed as the bed was too short . He managed to get his pillow on the ege of the foot end to balancing his head. he never slept as bed, and matters both need to go in the bin. Had to turn the mattress. I slept digangal the double bed due to the mattres being broken. The bathroom was awful with cobwebs over the shower, and the shower head needed to be in the bin. The smell from the bathroom was different. The Flooring had black hair over it for days. The room was old dated and very basic.
The food breakfast ok, if you like uncooked eggs . We were all-inclusive, if you could call it that. The lunch and dinner were the worst food I have ever tasted. Small choice chicken on the bone or sausage from breakfast. beef, which looked all the same size and cut light in colour, with the same sauce As the rest of the food. Tastes like it was off, and they are covering up with the sauce to make it more appealing. Lol . The potatoes taste like they had been cooked days before or weeks out off date. We both had a sore belly for a few days. Coffee was disgusting. Cold food, but it OK you can use the microwave to heat up food, or cook it. No white wine, juice was just full of sugar very hot in a small cup. I think beer was watered-down. When you see the workers coming to take their fizzy drink out of the cooler. i thought i might work for a day. The ladys toilet in the bar did not work.
No service at all, staff talking about customers . The owner looking down on people like they are disgusted in you. No one is smiling or asking how your day has been, with no offer of advice about the area. Just no interest in people. There are cats and kittens within the hotel. They family hated them, not looking after them. I saw staff kicking them.
Extra cost WiFi aricon, safe, dirty towels, or pillow case.
We both had bits everywhere. I think mosquito is coming in through the aircon.
Pleses look at another hotel. Zante is a lovely place.
- A287WTmaryy (2/5): A no go hotel. - The swamp the worst place we have ever stayed in. The food was inedible cold fried eggs, stale bread rolls, awful coffee and fried mushrooms, onions & tomatoes all cold and swimming in oil. Paying extra for air conditioning, broadband and to break the camels back a city tax when checking out! In the middle of nowhere, definitely not a 3 star hotel. Never again.
- 919seemac (6/5): Friendly Helpful Staff Clean Hotel Facilities - Reviews are harsh. You do get what you pay for. This is a 3* and so 3* is what you will get. Every area is very clean from the bedrooms to the communal areas ie. Bar toilets to the reception desk and the dining area. After each meal you can see the hard working staff cleaning down the kitchen and dining area thoroughly. There is no entertainment though the bar is open until 11pm. Our room was adequate for our family and what we expected for what we paid. The food is well cooked and there is a variety. The breakfast was better than I had imagined and the good thing about it is that the food is cooked in small quantities and brought out to be served so it is not sat there for hours going cold and attracting flies. Staff are on hand throughout your stay and no ask is too big. Yes you do have to pay for air con and for Wi Fi so what we did was family share our Wi Fi from 1 device that we had registered for roaming costing nothing. The air con should not be chargeable and I think that is the biggest gripe at €13 per night for a maisonette. The bar shop selling ice creams and refrigerator cold drinks is expensive so avoid using this but instead go directly across the road for a very friendly and helpful shop which opens early closes late and stocks everything at a cheaper price. The hotel is out of the main area and so be prepared for lots of taxis which are not cheap at an average of €15 a ride. The hotel will call you a taxi but this for some reason is a more expensive way of doing it and so again go to the shop opposite they will also call you a taxi but at a cheaper price for the same taxi and the same driver even! Do not book excursions from the hotel or the holiday rep but instead make your way in a taxi to the excursion base ie. The beach for the glass bottom boat ride and strike a deal. Everyone will charge less if paying cash rather than card. The pool is thoroughly cleaned every single morning and ready to use from around 8:30 we were always first in and there is no shortage or rush for a sun lounger. Food and drinks are available almost 24/7 with breakfast then snack time then lunch then snack time then dinner. The lady at reception is most helpful and the cleaning team are on hand for extra towels etc.
The water park is a taxi ride away and if going after 2:30 then entry is cheaper still leaving you enough time to fully explore. On the beach rather than pay for a sun lounger go for food and drink at Malabooz really good smoothies and very generous portions priced really fairly sit out eat and drink. Happy Holidays ☀️
- Shakira (1/5): Food was bad, didn’t cater for everyone. Having to pay for air conditioning and WiFi that should be something standard, - The property itself was ok The price wasn’t worth it
- sammy1987 (4/5): Clean but dated - Booked here for a last minute holiday. Upon arrival we was the last drop off we went to check in while filling in paper work was asked for the 100 deposit and city tax (knew about this as I had read online) we paid for air conditioning and the safe.
So was just lots of handing out on arrival.
We was showed to our room took ages for the ac to get cold.
We was told we had to wait for the boss to come open the safe in our room.
The safe wasn’t big enough we wanted to be able to put I pads in when out for the day but was far to small.
We went to the shop across the road for some snacks and drinks when we got back My little lad sat on the bed next thing he fell to the floor banging his head. The bed base was clearly broken the headboard was detached from the base. The screws was no where near long enough. We went to reception but no one was there and in total darkness.
So we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor! Not a good start to the holiday.
Next morning we told reception she said they would get someone around to repair asap. We went out for the day when we returned they still hadn’t been we spoke again to reception she said he is busy and will come when he can.
We spoke with the rep later and he spoke with them and within 2 hours they came.
The fridge seal was broken so you had to push hard on the door for it to seal.
Only 1 glass for 3 people so we bought our own.
Maid service poor took towels and never replaced them all only leaving 2 large towels and no toilet roll.
We was half board breakfast was okay same thing everyday but we all managed to eat. Staff very nice and friendly.
Evening meal we only ate there twice as the selection was very poor and nothing for kids. So we chose to eat out
Location is quite far from town and beach, was 40 mins walk to the beach
Don’t usually mind walking but with a moaning 8 year old in the heat isn’t fun.
I’m glad we hired a car for a few days as it got us exploring further afield.
Plenty parking available at the back of the hotel.
Pool area was okay plenty of loungers but dodgy steps into the deeper end hurt my knee getting inn.
We heard some noice during the nights but wasn’t to bad I expected it to be worse when I saw the young groups of lads.
We also asked for late check out and told no but other guests paid 30 euro to stay till 6pm.
No where to shower and get changed apart from the toilets behind the bar that are gross as the flush on ladies toilet does not flush and it’s always blocked.
Small supermarket across the road very reasonable priced, grumpy grill across the road is also good.
The hotel was clean but very dated rooms I would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend personally.
- sallyjP4027UG (2/5): "Feeling disappointed after working hard all year and then getting a holiday like this." - This year, our holiday experience was completely different from what we were promised at the travel agency. Despite being told otherwise, we had to pay for everything: a €100 room deposit, €12 for WiFi per person per device, and €10 per night for air conditioning. The food selection was limited and served cold, with no fruit options other than watermelon. The bar closed at 11 pm, and even at 12 am, you had to pay for your drinks. When items ran out, they weren't replaced, giving the impression that the resort was not truly all-inclusive. It's disappointing, and I want others to be aware of what to expect.
- Y8090UXdylans (2/5): Felt like I was serving a prison sentence - Yeah absolute dump mate, don’t even settle for this place with hindsight I would have slept behind cherry bay every night over staying here.
Firstly took 60 euros each off me and my mate before we’d even got through the doors as a deposit and then government tax (didn’t get either of these the first time we came to zante in a different hotel).
Believe me i’ve stopped in some rooms that a pig would turn down but this was the worst by a landslide. Furniture is probably worth a fortune as it’s been sat there collecting dust since the stone age, lamps have got burn rust all round the edges, walls have got large stains and holes in the ceiling, and our shower stand didn’t work so you couldn’t even stand under the shower. Beds weren’t changed once over our entire week stay bearing in mind we are coming home smashed and sweating from the strip every night.
If I payed someone to build a legal case of attempted murder against this place for the food that they served, I would win. I tried two things from the daytime menu while I was recovering from the night before, spag bol and cheeseburger + fries. Both of them gave me violent 💩s and knocked me ill for several hours. If you do make the poor decision of coming here, there’s a restaurant called grumpys 30 second walk down the road that do a sound bit of scran, avoid eating at this hotel at all costs though as it could just end your holiday.
Staff are sound except the cleaner who starts rattling your doorknob at 12am to ask what day you’re checking out. Fella who works the bar through the day is the only good thing about this place, shoutout to you brother🙏🏼
We went to collect our deposit back on the last day and we were charged for 2 small towels and 2 bedsheets (The bedsheets that they didn’t clean once the whole week) There was no damage to them at all they were just unclean after going multiple uses with no wash, and the total came to 66 euro out of the 100 that we gave initially. I offered to find them a set off 2 sheets and 2 towels myself for 1/4 of the price, but for some reason they declined my offer. In simple terms the deposit is just an extra profit for them.
Don’t come here under any circumstances geez🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
- drsoniai (6/5): Okish. - Overall experience was okish. We have been given a quiet room which was ok. Please note you have to pay separately for air con and WiFi however WiFi doesn't work inside the room , you have to sit in the balcony and every time you have to connect, its not auto connect. Their check out time is 11am in the morning so if your flight is later in the evening please let them know in advance, also you have to pay extra €50 to stay there till your flight time. The pool is good , we haven't tried their food but heard they have buffet and snacks . They have insects outside the rooms but thankfully rooms were clean and luckily insect didn't come in so best to take an insect killer with you.
- Journey41205751738 (2/5): the reservation was canceled less than a day before - Please think twice before booking this hotel. We booked directly by email. A half day before out flight (we were already on our way to the airport to another country), we received a email that the reservation was canceled because one of the guests fell ill and could not leave the room assigned to us. It is the middle of August, the most busy, it was extremely difficult to find another option. After some time passed, we received information that a room became available for two nights (from 7 nights), we can come for two nights. Of course, we didn't want to take any more risks.
Please think twice. Hotel should take responsibility in cases like that.
- kimwales1 (8/5): Lovely staff, great room, food not great for kids - The hotel is quite a walk from the main strip, which wasn’t an issue for us as we went once and turned around and came back! Not for us! We got taxi to Kalamaki one evening as it’s a more family friendly resort. We booked the boat tour the hotel sells at reception and it was excellent!!! The beach is a long walk through the strip…… we never made it! The staff at the hotel are great, friendly and helpful. We paid for the air con and kept the room nice and cold, wouldn’t have managed without it, wish they had air con in the restaurant instead they have two big fans blowing warm air around the place! The food is very samey every day and not a huge choice. We booked half board but upgraded to AI on arrival which was cheaper than doing it through jet2. It was worth it for the drinks not the food. Snack time is just re-used lunch items. Ice cream is only served at lunch and tea so you end up buying ice creams from the bar in between, the kids struggled with the food choice and they aren’t massively fussy. It’s clever of the hotel but a shame for AI guests, they sell pizza, nuggets and gyros at the bar which are lovely and you end up buying because after 3 days of the kids living of watermelon you feel you have to. A non fussy adult will manage but we ended up eating out 2 evenings and buying from the snack bar, a shame when you’re AI. The pool is small but as expected and we enjoyed our days by the pool, friendly bar staff, nice music on, some guests were annoying but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The park is a bit run down. Our room was great! The hotel is clean. We got our security deposit back no problems and check in/check out was smooth. I wouldn’t come back because the area isn’t for us but for what we paid can’t complain about the hotel, yes it’s annoying about the food but it wasn’t awful quality just poor choice for children
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- L5169MVkatiel (2/5): Avoid 🤣🤣 - I think this may be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels! So bad that I actually emailed and complained to get money back as it was dreadful and I came back looking like I had chicken pox on my legs due to our room being mosquito infested! I went August 2023 with my best friend ( we were 20 and 19). Don’t get me wrong, most of the hotels in Zante aren’t great but this surely has to be the worst. The rooms are tiny and not clean, there’s hardly any plug sockets and the air con is just a small vent that will give you the Zante cough and you have to pay €20 a day for it anyway, so we chose to open the doors to let air in and get bitten instead as there is no bug net even on the balcony door! If you are a family I would completely avoid as it is just full of young party people. You are not allowed to take your room key out of the hotel with you and it’s not even a keycard it’s just an old fashioned key and then you have to go and get it back once you return to the hotel which takes ages! There are two security guards constantly roaming the hotel grounds who told us off for even having a cigarette on our balcony one night! We couldn’t play music at all as they were constantly telling us to turn it down even though it wasn’t that loud. The shower is tiny and terrible and the shower curtain was gross and dirty. We only realised on the last day that our room was mosquito infested on the ceiling and that’s why we had been bitten so so much! There are a good few parking spaces next to the hotel which was good as we rented quad bikes but that was probably the only good thing about it. There’s one pool and it’s not very big. I do have to say it was a funny time there but probably only because we were always drinking and just made a laugh out of it. The staff weren’t friendly nor helpful. Also when you’re booking it (if you’re young and want to go to the strip) , it looks close to the strip but it’s actually like a 5 minute drive but a 40 minute walk. We thought it would be so close to the strip that we could walk to it but we had to get taxis each time which is annoying! Pool bar is rubbish and I can’t even remember them serving alcohol, I don’t think I ever had a cocktail by the pool. As I said, me and my friend still had a good time regardless but if you’re an older couple looking for a peaceful get away this hotel isn’t the one for you!
- 13robbert (8/5): Hotel costs and facilities - Good 3 star hotel, we went half board and stayed in maisonette.
Paid for air con ( knew there was a charge and had planned to pay this when we booked holiday) €13 per night and both upstairs and downstairs units worked.
Also safe in room was €15 for the week.
Additional €100 for damage deposit which we got back at end of stay - this hidden charge should be advertised and looked into by travel agent. ( it was only not a shock as ppl had previously mentioned it)
The room was ok with little less space than hoped, due to additional bed downstairs, but we had kept cost down by having 1 room for family of 5! Happy with Bathroom which had walk in tiled shower area with both fixed overhead and hand shower, though it seemed like water was filtered seawater!
Also maid seemed to forget that was 5 of us so had to ask for extra towels a couple of times.
Buffets had good selection of hot/cold food. Breakfast was better than expected, and all family enjoyed.
Evening buffet was good a couple of younger family stuck to pasta and sauce due to meats having been prepared in Greek sauces etc, and topped up with dessert cakes and ice creams, I found both cold prepared salads etc and cooked meat/fish or veg/rice, soup n bread variety good.
Staff we really nice and happy to help.
We spent days by pool re applying sun cream as did others and this wasn’t questioned. Pool area had loads of spare sun beds, and the staff left the leftover inflated pool rings and balls to side for kids to re use for next day
Outside of hotel
Walk to beach at end of strip was approx 30 mins.
Shop over road from hotel was ok and had good variety.
Foodland BBQ a few mins walk grilled various meats over charcoal if wanting something to eat on way back to hotel after evening/night out.
- nicolacmbirchall (8/5): Excellent base to explore and a very pleasent stay - Friendly helpful staff. Yes there are upfront charges but they happen in most places and it does say that on the website so clearly not hidden. The room was lovely overlooked the garden with a balcony. Towels and sheets changed regularly. Pool lovely and good size and always sunbeds. It did get lively with teenagers enjoying themselves in the late afternoon but then it's a holiday. The food was nice we always enjoyed the meals. Who new breakfast dessert was a thing. A good base for either the 40 mins to the beach along an active strip with bars, boat tours kiosks and food/smoothie places or an hours walk to the wine region. The bus was good from zakynthos town to laganas. Boat tours will pick up from the hotel too.
Music by the pool was a tape some of the songs were a jazz version of the original only downside especially when you start humming them.
- daynam198 (6/5): 18-30’s youth club disco - Positives -
Staff were lovely
Superior studios ok if dated, 3 single beds, kettle, 2 ring hob, fridge freezer.
Room was clean and regularly cleaned, new towels etc
Food was plain but ok
Plenty of sun beds
Vegetarian food prepared on request
Quiet first thing in the morning or the evening after young people had gone out or were still sleeping.
Long way out of rowdy ‘strip’
Supermarket opposite
1 drink rule helped with antisocial behaviour
Negatives -
AI but lots of extras that had to be paid on arrival in euros - €10.50 person tax per adult, aircon €10-12 per day depending on size of room (was 30 degrees at 10pm so unbearable in small rooms without it), €100 deposit for damage to be returned after holiday
Full of teens so not family resort as advertised
Young people playing own music from apartments or poolside over the top of hotel Muzak
Restaurant had closed by 8.45pm day we arrived, so, despite being AI, no food was offered.
No water in room or refreshments in fridge for AI.
Small plastic glasses for around the pool.
Young guests meant lots of inappropriate language we moved away from with my young son.
We like Greece, would never do anywhere near that resort again.
- joannecF7812TQ (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND I LITERALLY MEAN COSTS - Wow were do I even start with this hotel.it is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.upon arrival I went to check in and was told nothing about all theese charges u needed just to check in.$10 per night for aircon €1.50 per night for tax and €100 upfront for safety deposit which she would not let me pay on card as I didn't have euros on me as booked it last minute so she said I had to go to the ATM and get cash but I had my disabled husband with me and he couldn't walk that far so she told me to go alone bear in mind this was just before midnight in a strange country and there was no way I was walking to a busy street alone to go to the ATM at night I told her I would get it the next day as I wasnt going nowhere as she already my passport so couldn't leave.so after all the stress and time she sd I could pay the next day but couldn't have aircon .woke up the next day after the worst sleep ever as it was so hot went down for breakfast which was very basic not any choice which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't freezing cold.no warmers keeping it warm.the water was actually warmer than the food so if u wanted cold water you had to pay.the all inclusive beer was a tiny plastic cup were u could only purchase 1 per person and the shorts were served with rola cola out of a large bottle tht had stood there all day.lunch and tea was even more appaling so had to buy burgers n nuggets from the snack bar then went out every evening just for a nice meal.for all inclusive we spent a fortune just on basic human needs (water food and aircon)I could go on and on but all I'd say is avoid at all costs rude staff who didn't care about anything other than taking money my disabled husband had 2 flights of stairs to Manage everythime we went anywere to be told she'd try and change the next day but fobbed us off.all I will say is the cleaners worked bloody hard in the extreme heats to keep the room clean everyday
- donnamM2031NA (2/5): Rubbish hotel if your young treated like 💩 - Well writing this on behalf of my daughter she is on her way home now !!! Discussing how this hotel is treating these young people,, €50 deposit when they arrive not heard of 1 person get the deposit back her and her grind €100 euros got charged €58 for sheets and a towel having a mark on it had a stand up argument at reception she said the staff were awful check in and out was shocking the lady was talking to them like they were a bit off 💩, bearing in my heat off well in to 40 plus’s degrees the beds weren’t even changed the whole week (in that heat) disgusting no clean towels they had to get towels of some lads that were there!! Well that’s a big put off for all these young adults working hard saving hard to be treat like this next complaint is jet2 !! I’m actually appalled by this hotel 😡😡😡
- billv700 (10/5): Great stay and friendly staff - Had a great experience and I would certainly go back. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location to drive and see the island, nice to have parking for rental car. Room had all the amenities needed for our family and great to have kitchenette to make some simple meals for the kids.
- Mckenna (6/5): Pleasant - Cleaners don’t knock just barge into your room at 11am. too far from the strip in Laganas
- Tom (1/5): Filth - I came home and they refused to give me tap water, there's no humanity in that place all just for money
- Cristiano (7/5): Good - Good location and amenities A bit overpriced and being a family friendly location it has a very early curfew which does not allow you to enjoy it in full, the same being enforced by the night guards in a rude manner
- Rokas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kairo (7/5): pretty good for booking so last minute, i still had an amazing time - room was nice, pool was great there was often a very strange smell at the entrance and the location wasn’t great, had to get a taxi to even go out for a meal
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (7/5): Enjoyed staying because of the cleanliness, food and the nice buildings... could be closer to beach, - We enjoyed the services of the very nice staff, we had breakfast and dinner and the food was always very satisfying, The rooms were cleaned and had good ac units. the hotel is located quite far away from the beach, They said it was around 30-minute walk to the beach but more like 40+ minutes is more accurate, Depending where your apartment is, the wifi from the reception can be slow/nonexistent
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Sharron (10/5): Excellent value for money. - Cleanliness, value for money, excellent staff especially blonde haired lady in reception. Food was amazing, lots of good quality Greek food, lots of choice, starters, main and dessert included and hearty breakfast, full English and Continental. The place was spotless. Rooms cleaned daily, towels replaced daily. I do not know how they can provide all this for the price we paid. Amazing value. Lots of young people at this hotel and they were all respectful and well behaved and just there to enjoy their holiday. No noise after 11pm. Air conditioned Bus was a god send. Very frequent and 1 Euro 60 to beach, Kalamaki or Zante town. Very reliable and drivers are very helpful. The English people leaving rubbish around the pool for staff to clean up. Not cool. Staff did clear it up promptly but really?!?!?
- Facundo (7/5): Good - the location, the pool and the buffet the staff
- Ahsan (6/5): MID HOTEL - the pool and garden day staff and reception and bar were amazing night security treats you like poo. barges into ur room without knocking which is somewhat messed up. A lot of mosquitoes due to the garden
- Ellis (5/5): Passable -
- Willanie (8/5): Overall it was a very good stay at this hotel. I like how peaceful it is but not boring - very good value for the money with spacious rooms and even cooking utensils closing time of the pool is too early
- Belinda (5/5): I will not stay here again - Food was average, not worth the money. Bland Almost same food each day
- Clarissa (4/5): Disappointing -
- Clarita (8/5): Very good -
