Guest Reviews
- Victoria (10/5): Gorgeous little hideaway - Lovely location. Very remote but that’s not always a bad thing! - Was right next to horse stables and so the smell of poop was constant outside but nothing that can be done about that. Couldn’t smell it inside - just meant we couldn’t sit out.
- Location was so remote that our food delivery didn’t know where to find us and one was declined due to this and the other took 2.5 hours! Again, not the hosts fault - maybe we need to plan better! We just wanted a cheeky Chinese to celebrate our dad’s heavenly birthday!
- Annie (8/5): Well equipped with a stunning view. - Stunning view, well equipped with everything you could possibly need, very comfortable beds & bedding. Very strong smell of mould throughout the property.
- S (10/5): Amazing - Location and privacy
- AMANDA (10/5): Perfect holiday hideaway. - Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views Nothing - it was lovely
- Alan (2/5): Disappointed to find only 1 bedroom had a window. The accommodation smells damp with lots of air fresheners. - The property is advertised as a 3 bedroom accommodation. 2 of the rooms have no windows so I can’t see how they could be classed as bedrooms. Lots of air fresheners to hide the smell of damp.
- Lisa (10/5): - Lovely Views
- Sally (10/5): Rooms with a view! - Rooms with a view!
Comfortable, spacious holiday home with a well-kitted-out kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely, large patio terrace overlooking the garden and hillside. All spotlessly clean!
There was a welcome pack on our arrival which was gratefully received.
Nicola was a welcoming and helpful host and she responded quickly to my queries. Nothing!
Might be worth noting that because this is a stable/barn conversion the two single bedrooms at the back of the house have velux/skylights, so are a little darker. My son said he slept very well though and the views through the French doors in the double bedroom room are fab!
- Nial (8/5): Good value - Quiet, kitchen had everything you could need, beautiful view. Easy to find following the host’s directions. very clean and tidy. French doors in bedroom leaked which met the floor was wet. The loo wobble and the air freshener was overpowering. The single bedrooms only had little air blowers.
