(Review in English / anmeldelse på dansk): ENGLISH: The area around the apartment was not nice and did not seem safe. It was an extremely loud neighbourhood and did not quiet down at any point throughout the night. The building was in bad condition as well. When we got in through the front door, all the mailboxes were smashed open. There was an overwhelming stench of cat piss in all the corridors leading to the apartment. In the apartment it also smelled awfully of cat piss. The kitchen and living room had windows you could not look out of. There was plastic film on the windows, so you were not able to look through them, and iron bars on the outside of the windows. So no fire escape. You could only exit through the front door. The windows on the first floor where the bathroom and bedrooms were located, also had iron bars on the windows - so in case of a fire downstairs, and you were upstairs, you would have no way out. There was a note on a window that said it is out of order. The walls around the windows had a lot of holes. The heat only worked in one of the bedrooms. So we had no heat on the entire ground floor. It was cold outside so we froze a lot. Multiple tiles in the bathroom floor were cracked and sharp so you could cut yourself. There was mold a lot of places in the bathroom as well. The stairs were shaky and the carpet was filthy. The whole apartment was disgusting. The oven was dirty. It was booked for four people, but there was only two forks and tree spoons. Only two out of four hot plates worked. The whole condition of the apartment was in a poor state. We contacted the landlord when we arrived, but he did not care about any of it. And he was incredible rude. So we contacted Booking.com. They tried to get in touch with the landlord but he did not answer them. Unfortunately we had to stay there for the night because we got to the apartment close to midnight.

There is no double glazing so you could hear every n - Beds and pillow were uncomfortable , bathroom has mould & shower head rusted and not a good flow. Property was cold as heating didn’t work, windows weren’t double glazed and since your below ground it’s not great experience

• Mmayen (8/5): A very fun and eventful weekend - The living room was spacious, bathroom was clean and cute, the rooms were comfortable and the full body mirror was very nice The stairs were moving a bit funny like they were broken

• Lade (8/5): Altogether wonderful, but bad pillows and environment. 8/10 in my opinion - Most things were lovely and exceptional. All facilities were working perfectly and the apartment was very clean. The pillows; they were too thick and stiff and made it uncomfortable to sleep with. The environment; the environment is extremely filthy with trash all over the streets and bins all around. Additionally, the living room windows are right beside bins which made it very uncomfortable to open as well as posing a risk to our health and general wellbeing.
• Annamária (1/5): TERRIBLE - Nothing I’ve booked accommodations through Booking at least 100 times over the past few years, but this was the first place I actually had to run away from. The apartment is located in a basement, and you have to pass through at least 5 fire doors before reaching it. As soon as we walked down the stairs, we were hit by a musty, damp smell, which was even stronger inside the apartment. They had tried to cover it with some kind of sickly sweet air freshener, but that only made the smell even more unbearable. On top of that, one of the rooms had a broken window, and we were forbidden to open it. The host tried to solve this with a single fan, but since it was basically impossible to breathe properly anywhere in the apartment, our only option was to leave. The living room did have windows, but they looked out directly onto huge garbage bins, where homeless people rummaged through, so it was not advisable to open those either. On top of all this, the tablecloth and chairs were full of crumbs and dirt, which by then felt like a “minor” issue compared to everything else. The owner was neither understanding nor helpful, and we only got a fraction of our money back. :( I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

• Markus (3/5): Vertraut Booking com nicht - Apartment ist im Keller. Unsichere Gegend . Grosse Wasserschaden an der Decke. Wir haben dort nicht übernachtete haben uns ein Hotel gesucht. Haben den Vermieter kontaktiert Geld jedoch nicht zurück überwiesen bekommen. Entspricht gar nicht den Referenz en von Booking . Lasst die Finger davon Alles sehr schlimm

• Jayne (6/5): Pleasant - Lovely apartments hi owe re lots of issues let it down Area felt very unsafe ! Lovely apartment in a not so nice part of birmingham ! Parked car in car park opposite and car was damaged scraped down one side ! Beds far too hard and pillows made an unbareable sleep! One of the windows in the bedroom is broken the whole frame is damaged resulting in the whole window falling out of the wall !!! Small damaged scribbled note on it to say do not open ! Very hazardous !!! Could not open on a hot day !!! Could not put blinds down in bedroom pulled down at night time which resulted in us losing some of our deposit owners said we damaged them!!! also stain mentioned on carpet which we were unaware of which again resulted in part of our deposit being kept! !
• Damian (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and good location. Only 2 duvets (we were 4 together and none of us does share a duvet on normal basis). Dishwasher was not working. The pillows were huge and very stiff, impossible to sleep on them. The hot water didn’t work every part of the days so it was hard to take shower only with cold water. Windows could be sealed better as you could hear everything from the streets, even when someone walked past windows while in living room.

• Josephine (8/5): Stay was comfortable but need more things in the property to improve it. - It was easy, to access. We couldn’t find main entrance at first. The picture looked different on the website. Also in the apartment the kitchen utensils were very basic. No grater no whisk not enough storage containers good job I bought most of my own things. Also could have done with tv in rooms upstairs and mirrors in room so can do makeup etc… just 2 rings on the cooker are working . Hot water run out quick in the shower. Also we no 10am checkout but about 5 cleaners turned up on the dot. There was no need for 5 cleaners as me and my family left the place spotless we only left 1 rubbish bag for them to get rid off! And I stopped all bed down before we left., so was not much for the 5 to do.

• Jessica (7/5): Nice central apartment for short stay - Nicely decorated, modern, light & bright in the main living space. All the facilities you’d need in the kitchen and smart tv in living room. Easy to access central Birmingham within walking distance. Instructions were good and overall property did the job for a one night stay for a night out in Birmingham - super close to jewellery quarter which is just what we needed and cheaper than a hotel. Area immediately surrounding the apartment didn’t feel particularly safe and is quite run down. Just be aware if staying as young women or alone to be vigilant. Had no issues though. The pillows in the largest bedroom were memory foam but very hard and not comfortable unfortunately whereas mattress was very soft. No mirrors in any of the bedrooms or hall - only one mirror in bathroom so a bit tricky when 4 people getting ready at once. Two of the windows were damaged and bolted shut including the smallest bedroom so was no ventilation in this room.
• Zoe (10/5): Excellent apartment 5 mins from everything! - Great apartment, well equipped and lovely finish. Spacious communal space. Lovely little touches in the bathroom with q-tips and make up wipes. Lots of speciality tea and coffee provided. 5min Uber from everything! Parking opposite £5.80 for 24hrs. The only complaint is that the pillows were memory foam but very solid. The streets outside had been fly tipped.
• Paul (6/5): Needs a few things sorting - Location to centre. Kitchen area and lounge are lovely but no fresh air. Windows in 1 of the bedroom did not open and very hot apartment that needs air! Broken tiles in the bathroom are dangerous and need replacing.
• Joy (9/5): Great apartment to share with friends for a weekend away. - Very stylish. Big and airy. Lot of the items looked new. Very clean throughout the apartment. Loved all the little finishing touches. In the bathroom and kitchen. Liked the entrance system. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It has a carpark right opposite which is a bonus and shops not too far away. Was perfect for the venue we were going to. The entrance was really shabby which is a shame. I’m sure that’s not the owner of the apartment fault. The bin area stank and bins were really full. When we took all our rubbish out.

• Zaiha (10/5): Obsessed best stay away from apartment I’ve been in!! - I loved the whole interior design, apartments was stunning felt like home away from home. The host was amazing as I had such an easy check in instruction & little gift and a note as it was my birthday that was so cute. The shower water just kept going cold but that was not a big deal

• Frederick (10/5): Delightful - I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The modern decor was stylish and the flat always smelled fresh and clean. The Tassimo machine with its selection of hot chocolate and coffee was a great bonus. The management was prompt and helpful with any questions. Overall, a wonderful experience—highly recommended!
