- Grady (1/5): What a mess. - Location The apartment was a mess. I changed apartments 3 times. 1) Dirty shower, scum was caked on the walls of the shower, toilets were ridiculous. 2) apt two water started leaking from the third floor into my bathroom. I was not sure where it was coming from, and neither could local staff so I moved to apartment three. 3) No hot water to the kitchen sink nor the facebowl in the bathroom. The only hot water was the Luke warm water from the shower. I had to wash dishes in the shower. It was ridiculous. I had prepaid and there were no refunds. How this place got a score of 8.9 I will never know. The staff was very nice but I would never stay in this place again. I am not being hyperbolic it was that bad.

- Alvarado Noboa (7/5): Agradable - Se encuentran ubicados en una zona muy cerca de todo. El anfitrión fue muy amable, nos permitió realizar el check in y el check out en base a nuestra disponibilidad. El internet falla mucho, realmente tuvimos que usar nuestros propios datos. Sugiero más limpieza en el baño, sería bueno cambiar la cortina y limpiar las paredes, para que uno se pueda sentir más a gusto mientras se asea.

- Christa (5/5): - Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig. Und in der Küchennische waren die Basics vorhanden.Handtuvhrr und Klopapier wurden auf Anfrage schnell geliefert. Das Zimmer/Apartment war wesentlich kleiner als reserviert. Die angegebene Sitzecke fehlte. Nur in der spartanisch eingerichteten Küchennische waren 2 Hocker und ein kleiner Tisch. Das Bad und WC haben auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen und wirkte etwas schmuddelig, Kacheln nicht sauber. Der Eingangsbereich, Korridor von der Unterkunft war 3 Tage lang schmutzig( auch Hundekot) bevor geputzt würde.

- CHRISTINE (8/5): Great location and good for short term stays - Location is great - may bars/restaurants/ laundry/ stores in the area. Safe to walk around at night. 10min walk to anywhere in the city. Apartment is small and cozy. Kitchen had coffee maker/kettle/rice cooker and electric fry pan. Kitchen island that had stools - good for working. Bed was comfy and warm - there was heater provided but I didn't use it. Towels provided and soap/body wash/shampoo. Lots of outlets to charge things. Place was semi-clean. Hosts were availalbe via Whatsapp if needed. The place was clean but needs a good deep cleaning (light switches/inside cupboards/shelves). Basics provided - have to be creative with your cooking as only an electric fry pan. No microwave to heat things up. Kitchen and bathroom sink only had cold water. Kitchen dishes/applicances had that oily residue from cooking without ventilation. Hard to clean with only cold water. Shower only had lukewarm water. The biggest problem was the noise - the structure of the building makes everything echo and amplifies sound. You hear TV's, workman hammering, people talking in the halls, crying children, loud music - definitely need ear plugs!! Usually quiet by 11pm (except on Saturdays when parties happen) WIFI cut out during Zoom and Teams calls otherwise it was fine.

- Thomas (8/5): Generally good. - Everything was well appointed in the kitchen and the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and there was ample room in the bedroom cabinet for all my clothes. I didn't use anything but the water kettle in the kitchen, but it did have enough features for preparing and serving a small meal. The shower had no pressure. The water literally trickled from the shower head. There was also a child in the building who cried every single day and night. I wish someone would have intervened.

The host is exceptionally helpful and responsive. I arrived at a rather unsociable hour and then the bus was delayed but the host was very quick to respond and arranged everything for me.

- Deborah (2/5): Unpleasant reality check - Location 2nd floor, extremely low security (only one bolt on door and ridiculously unsafe locks on windows), fithy bathroom (hair, used soap on window sill, shower walls were disgusting!)- no way was U going to use the shower! Gross rug, grungy walls throughput, (but especially at the head of the bed), scratchy sheets, lights on and off all night from the staircase. The mirrors were dirty. The bed stand and kitchen counters and table were super dusty (I happened to have some Lysol wipes). All in all, I felt unsafe and grossed out. I didn't like paying all 4 reserved nights up front, but I did. It was so bad I just left.

Not much hot water for the shower. Could be cleaner. The rugs could be removed to mKe it easier to clean and the kutchen rug should have a good clean undeneath it!

- Semyon (7/5): Good - Great location. All attractions are at walking distance. Kitchen - possible to cook simple meal such as breakfast. The place looks secure - it has cameras in common areas. Super mega thin walls. You can clearly hear every dialog in the movie that your neighbours watch. In the apartment next to ours was a porno casting, otherwise I can't explan moans and sighs multiple times a day and night, which were clearly heard though these "paper thin" walls.

Wifi was good. Could have been cleaner upon arrival. Some dirt on the floor and kitchen sink needed some wiping. Netflix would not load.

- Dave (3/5): When they work it out, it will be great. - The location was good. The bed was comfortable. I like what they're trying to do, in creating a new niche between hostel and hotel. And the people I dealt with were very nice. First, they didn't give me the room I reserved. I got a smaller room. Then the hot water didn't work, despite a lot of effort on my part and their part. They switched me to the room I reserved, and it had intermittent hot water. It would get hot for a minute, then get cold. Turn it off, it would get hot for another minute. Not a pleasant experience.

- Némesis (10/5): Absolutely great stay! Recommended it to my family who lives in Ecuador and visits Cuenca frequently - Location is amazing! The nearby street had a lot of activity but the way the room is positioned was nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable and mini kitchen was perfect for our needs. The bathroom privacy could be better. The sliding door doesn't offer the best privacy as there are cracks that can be peaked through. It wasn't horrible for a married couple, but sometimes you still want more bathroom privacy.

This one was the best - The room was very clean and Jose met me at the door and cam back when I checked out and he helped me with my bags and called me a cab. Great internet. - Danny (9/5): Superb - It was a very cosy place to stay. Great for cooking and chilling out in the evenings watching Netflix. Bed was comfortable with cosy pillows. Overall, our stay was very good and they let us check out late without any extra pay. Only thing we didn't like was how loud the place was with other people chatting and playing music in the middle of the night. And the wifi was just okay.
