• Sameeya (1/5): Terrible, I do not recommend this place. The lady didn’t even make sure anything was clean. - nothing. I didn’t even stay there. They said that I can get a full refund and I never got it. Everything about the motel.

• Mary (6/5): - Great location, Free parking. On 2nd floor, could see airshow. Kitchenette Our room wasn't cleaned during stay. I had to ask to trade towels in. Kitchen stove didn't work.
• Shannan (1/5): My day was a nightmare - Just the location The room wasn’t clean. It had an odor when I walked in the outlet between the two beds didn’t work. I had to clean the bathroom before I brought my stuff in. There’s mold on the ceiling in the bathroom there outlet behind the door that has the refrigerator and microwave plugged into it is falling out of the wall. The air conditioner is falling off the wall, leaving a gap so bugs can get into the room and is also plugged into a surge protector which is plugged into the wall and there is no mat that goes in the bathtub to keep you from slipping. I slipped a couple times and was able to catch myself, and that was just with being wet from water without soap. And I know it’s summertime and it’s not really used but the heater underneath the window in the room as well as the heater in the bathroom is full of garbage and pieces of paper.

• Kameka (4/5): Raggedy Bates Motel - The location was really close to the boardwalk and beach. We asked prior to. Among about early check-ins and they said they would let us know. We arrived at 11:30 and she stated that the 2 rooms were not ready and to come back at 2:30 which I understood. We came back at 3 and only 1 room was ready. They said it would be about another 40 minutes until the second room was ready which would have been 3:40 at this point because they only had one housekeeper. Five teenagers had to shower in our room since the other one wasn't ready. We had 2 towels so we asked for more and she stated she would send housekeeping to bring more. She never did so they had to use their beach towels which were kind of damp from using them at the water park. So after we left to go back to the boardwalk I called them around 5:30 and she said the room was ready and the key would be in the mailbox outside the door of the rental office. Sob2 and a half hours after check-in it's ready. No apologies or anything. We came back around 6:30 to get the key and check out the other room which was a 2-bedroom "suite". Neither room had a trash can nor did the bathroom. The second bedroom connects to what I assume is the bedroom that the owner sleeps in because when we opened it thinking it was a closet it was a bedroom like someone lives there. That's kind of creepy since our teenagers would be utilizing the room. Anyway in our one-bedroom regular room in the bathroom, they had the tissue box & a roll of toilet paper sitting on the lid of the toilet which could be normal, but when we were about to remove the lid because the toilet wouldn't flush the lid was completely cracked in half. So I guess they were trying to hide it. We took a picture so they wouldn't try to say we did it. This room served its purpose of us not having to drive straight home with 5 teenagers that have been at the ride piers and water park all day but if I ever stay in Wildwood again it won't be here....oh and we never got the towels.

• Keonna (1/5): Nice location, never saw the staff and was never available when we needed someone - I liked that it was close to the boardwalk Our microwave was broken and so was the toilet bowl lid and we couldn’t use the tub as a bathtub.

• Charles (1/5): Do NOT stay here! - The only good thing to say about this motel is that it is located in Wildwood. AC didn' work. Room stank of pine-sol, causing an athma attack. The sheets were dirty. The bed felt like it had rocks in it. The floor was filthy, damp from humidty and extremely slippery. No view of the ocean. Staff was not friendly, helpful or accomodating. We stayed 10 minutes and left.

No fire extinguisher mold on ceiling in bathroom broken window in bedroom remotes had no batteries and other didn't work.had free wifi supposedly could access wifi.floors were dirty got out of shower and feet got very dirty walking in room.radio on clock didn't work the clock radio kept moving an hour ahead during night.

• Michel (7/5): Double check that you are actually at Rus Mar with the staff. - Close to the beach In the booking.com site, you are renting at the Rus Mar but you are actually renting other motels that far below standards. I had to argue with the staff that I booked for the Rus Mar not another place. They finally gave a room at the Rus Mar.
• Via (3/5): Won’t stay here again - Close to beach The price for how small the room was, the mold in the bathroom. The stains on the linen. The friendliness of staff.
• Dominish (1/5): Do not book here - Nothing Staff lives on sight. She was walking around barefooted. My room was a hour late. They was no parking. Told me had to pay 45 for a parking pass. Some lady with a baby walked up to my room while being cleaned and was going through it. She did not work there. Just some random lady with baby. The cleaning lady who spoke 0 English just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. Do not book at this hotel. I left and they refused to pay me back my money. Over 400 dollars for the night!!! It looks like the Bates hotel.

• Peter (1/5): Bad - Lied and said dog fee was $50 not $20 like it says online, was told the room would be ready at 2, got there at 315 and still had to wait a half hour for the room, GAVE the WRONG KEY SO WAS LOCKED OUT OF ROOM AT 1am when I got back and had to wait for someone to come bring the correct key that wasn’t on the property. Then the woman had the audacity to look into my room where my dog was sleeping after providing the correct key. Absolutely NOT an experience any one should deal with. 1.5-10, room was clean after waiting past check in for it, smelt like fresh bleach, pup ended up having a uti after sitting on the floor and the cleaning products. She has to get medicine after the stay. Overall disappointed in the choice and would NEVER stay again even if the cost was $0

We had problems with the air conditioner (we could not adjust the temperature), and the staff fixed it immediately - they sent someone who replaced the entire unit within the hour. There is no kitchen, just a coffee maker and a refrigerator. They never got the TV to work

• Alex (5/5): Passable - The owner was accommodating and got us to another one of their hotels. No one was there to check us in.... The office was closed. Called and they took us to another hotel that didn't have the sea view we were hoping for.

I didn't realize it was pet friendly. Not a big deal, but one of the guests had really aggressive dogs which they did keep restrained and quiet at night but scared me at first!

• Adam (9/5): Fit the bill for easy access to the Convention Center and Boardwalk. Good value for the money. - Ocean view. Quick and easy access to the boardwalk and convention center. Easy free parking. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Linens were clean.

• Herigo (9/5): Had a great time - Great location, room was what I expected. Had a nice sink, kitchenette, comfortable bed. Had to ask for a blowdryer (no big deal) and the shower pressure and temperature were one of the best I have ever used. Close to boardwalk, eating establishments and ample parking. I should have taken a second-floor room for a better view. If you are looking for a basic room close to the boardwalk, this is it. We stayed an extra day with no problem. Never came in to make the bed or refresh towels. To us it wasn't a big deal since we were there for 3 days only. Being the end of June was surprised there was only one other couple there

The sheets had stains and stuff in the bed, the countertops and floors were sticky. The burners still had leftover food crumbs around them and the shower curtains were black at the bottom. Definitely wasn't cleaned very well. We had considered leaving after returning at the end of the day.

• Lexy (1/5): stay was absolutely horrible the worst place i’ve ever stayed - nothing If I could rate this hotel a 0 I would this was the worst hotel I have ever seen. Walked in and walked right out. Hotel had an unbearable smell of mold. As someone with severe asthma, if I had stayed for more than 20 minutes in this environment I’d be on the way to the ER. These hotels are unlivable, even for one night. Ruined our whole vacation, had to drive over 4 hours back home and would way rather that than staying here. Staff is no help whatsoever and cannot seem to understand what a refund is. We didn’t even stay at the hotel! Needs to be refunded! When I went to explain the situation to the desk worker, no staff was to be found, hotel was left completely unsupervised at just 4pm with just a phone number on the door. We called the number to ask for a refund and was told their server was down and they could do nothing to help. Called back the next day and asked to speak to the owner and continued to get the same guy on the phone who was no help at all and could not seem to understand the horror of a hotel this was. A day later and I am still coughing and struggling to breathe. Also the location is absolutely in the middle of nowhere and you'd have to drive and pay $10 to park if you wanted to go to morey’s piers.

• Andra (7/5): Wouldn't take much to be better - The shining star at Rus Mar was Ahmed. He was always at the front desk and was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 204 which had 2 small windows up high, too high to see out of but they cranked open for a nice breeze.  The linens and towels were very clean and fresh and the toiletries were good. The bed sagged in the middle which for one person would not be so bad, but there were two of us.  The bed was pushed up against one wall so one of us would have had to climb all the way out so we managed to pull the bed away from the wall enough to squeeze by.  The full length mirror in the bathroom was missing a large portion and the toilet paper holder was missing a part so you had to reach behind on top of the tank. There is a crank out window in the bathroom but the crank was broken. The sink was much lower than usual, even for me and I am only 5ft tall. Overall the room was clean but there was a stickiness to the top of the eating table and dresser.

We were sent to the Aztec Motel. Nice, understanding staff, but not what we were expecting. This was very stressful for my family. Refund??? Rus-Mar Motel is CLOSED! We were sent to another location. We did not receive the accommodations that we paid for. Smaller venue, so did not have the room (2-bedroom suite) that was paid for in our booking. Refund????

• Danielle (5/5): Passable - We were looking for a spot late at night to sleep for a few hours before we continued our trip, he was able to check us in at 12:15am and staff was very friendly upon arrival. Room wasn’t very clean. Hair and dirt almost everywhere. If it were a cleaner establishment I’m sure they would blow their competition away, especially being a block from the beach.

The shower curtain was too small for the shower/bath. Only the cold water side worked on the bathroom sink. The bed didn’t have a comforter, only 2 bedsheets on the bed. There was a broken dresser in the room. Some blind panels were missing

Nightstand broken... drawer in pieces... extension cords all over.... refrigerator was totally small and totally old... not the cleanest... bathroom sink No Hot water... faucet had pinhole leaks that got you wet... Owner was very nice though... I DO NOT RECOMMEND ROOM #203 TO ANYONE...
• Katie (4/5): Disappointing - The location of this hotel is great, it is right across from the beach and surrounded by lots of things to do. This place could have been much cleaner and the window in the bathroom was shattered on the outside (looked like it was double paned? and fine on the inside). I did not end up staying the night because I was not comfortable and did not feel safe. All rooms have direct access to outside.
• Melanie (9/5): Stay was peaceful/accommodating; 1st floor location worked out as I had an asthma attack. - The location was nice and the staff was great and reliable; the only thing I was unsatisfied with was the lack of a pool. Otherwise the stay was excellent. Everything was perfect,, but it would be nice to have access to a pool. I do understand the property is not set up for a pool but what about use of the pool across the way or on another property managed by these owners. (Just an option, I realize there may be liability issues involved)

Location to beach and boardwalk was perfect. I didn't like the window blinds. It did not completely cover the window. Also I stayed 5 nights and did not receive housekeeping during my stay. However, clean towels were produced whenever I asked.

• Kim (3/5): Lots of other rooms we could have been given, I will not be back - Distance from the beach Tub surface very slippery, The corner room they gave us had no window to the outside, but small basement type windows over the beds with see through curtains especially after dark when you have the lights on, nice full size bed that sinks in like Indiana Jones and the temple of doom, not to mention Roos are double occupancy and to accompany the double size bed let’s fill any extra space with a single bed and yes there is more but let’s start with that. No ice, slippery tile floors painted dining table your hot paper containers stick to , built up grease around stove top, freezer that needs defrosting, key that gets stuck in the door, and somehow I believe we got the only room in the place like that because we were black
